This is very true for me about unorthodox views and interest in life's mysteries lol. Aquarius is interested in the unusual and the collective, looking at taboos from an intellectual/"progressive" perspective, Scorpio wants to strip away what's on the surface and get down to the inner working of things.. So combine these two and a lot of things many people find to be shocking or "wrong" in life or human behavior I just find to be more fascinating than anything lol. I honestly don't have a specific "type" of person I like to date, and things like race or cultural background never make any bit of difference when choosing friends or dating prospects lol

But I think it can be kind of difficult since neither Aquarius or 8th house is an especially easy place to have Venus to begin with, and they do want very different things. My approach to flirting can be very Aqua like, I would rather get to know someone as a friend but keep deeper emotions at a comfortable distance at first. That can be awkward if someone is trying to hit on me in a more direct way, sometimes I'm actually oblivious to it lol. But really I do crave the intense 8th house kind of intimacy and depth of emotional connection in relationships, yet I still hold myself back...
