I have this virgo friend of mine(he's 19), and he is so good looking and sweet that you won't believe it. He is kinda shy when it comes to girls, and he doesn't have a lot of experience with them either. It's almost frustrating to be around him, because he is so handsome and attractive, and I just want to tell him and make him understand how beautiful he really is. And I can be pretty direct, but I don't want to scare him off and make him uncomfortable. Do virgos like direct compliments? Could I like tell him that he is the most handsome guy I've ever seen? Virgo Men differ. A Virgo friend with Leo Venus/Aqua Moon compliments himself aloud. Lolz.....Doesn't care about what people think or say. He knows he's good looking and physically attractive. Very comfortable with compliments.My Virgo ex was the shy type. But he did like compliments. He would blush and grin like a hyena(the shy grin) and say a "Thank you". He had a Leo Venus/Gem Moon and he expected people to be direct with him. As a Virgo Moon, I like compliments but don't really know how to reply to people. Once, cool. Twice, cool. Thrice, ummm.... Moreover, too many compliments in public can make me uncomfortable. I won't run away from you though, only blush. IP: Logged |

You have to look at the entire chart. If he has Venus in Leo, or a Leo stellium mixed up in there, then trust me, he wants you to give him all the compliments you can stand, and then some.
I know a Virgo with a stellium in Leo (including his Venus), and he pretty much interprets anything that isn't 100% complimentary, as some form of personal attack towards himself and seems to need a constant influx of adoration and attention.

TELL HIM... Tell him that the sun and moon rise in his eyes LOL  Yes do tell him he will love it... Most of my guy friends are Virgos ------------------

People love compliments! As long as you are sincere, I doubt he'd be offended. By all means tell him. He may not know how to respond, so don't interpret his silence as him being offended. He will blush a great deal though. Make sure you tell him when it's just you two. If you give him a compliment about his looks in front of his friends, they'll tease him big time. IP: Logged |

Virgos like sincere compliments.  So as long as you are sincere, you can absolutely tell him how wonderful/handsome/whatever you think that he is. If you gush TOO much though, it might seem like overkill, so keep it simple. He might still blush, but that's not a bad thing. Context is important too. Wait until you're alone with him. If you do it in front of other people and he's not yet sure how he feels about it, he might shut down because he's embarrassed. Then again, maybe not... I don't know the guy.  IP: Logged |
