quote: @AcousticGod Do you think the Sun conjunct Saturn in the 2nd in terms of discipline to get to where I want to be? Or in terms of having the ability to be more staunch in attitude and not get caught up int the emotion of potential disappointment?
Well, with Saturn conjunct your Sun, you have the planet of rules and strictness conjuncting your essential essence. It may bring a certain sharpness to your instincts as far as what is fair [in Saturn's eyes]. Saturn and the 2nd house give you some Earth influence (Saturn ruling Capricorn, and the 2nd house being tilted to Taurus concerns). Earth makes people more practical in general. It should make you more realistic than you'd be without those influences, and of course being realistic and practical will be a great asset in pursuing legal matters. Earth influence can be a bit stoic in a way, so, yes, you may benefit from some resilience, but I think Cardinal Suns are pretty resilient anyway. You should probably also sing in a band while you're young. IP: Logged |

@violet7887 Yep definitely some stuff in common there with the Leo and Libra influences. How many planets did your father have in Libra, and in what house do you know?--- My father has venus, mars, jupiter, neptune and chiron all in libra in his 7th house. He also has a bunch of asteroids there as well. He is venus, sun and neptune dominant according to pullen.

This was really inspiring to read. I have been turning the wheels in my mind for a possible career in law. Who knows? I am a Libra with a LOT of Libra influence/aspects in my chart. IP: Logged |

^ I already replied on this thread, but yes! Absolutely.. Libra is an awesome sign for anyone interested in a legal career. quote: I have been turning the wheels in my mind for a possible career in law.
I think you're quietly very excited about the prospect! When you feel passionate about something - you should definitely give it a go. I know that law subjects are very expensive, but if that side of things is organised - then, don't second guess yourself. You can apply for law school and see how it goes. You always have the option to withdraw from subjects before the census date, if you choose to (and you won't be financially liable). IP: Logged |

I dated a lawyer for a while, would not recommend it. She was sweet and sensual at first. But overall, too busy, poor at communicating via written form, and flexed her brainpower like others flex their muscles (ie: condescending, sometimes I don't think she even realized it).Gem Sun Cancer Moon Scorp Rising Cancer Merc Cancer Venus Gem Mars Libra Jupiter Libra Saturn Leo T. Node Not sure of the houses, but I knew the birthdate was within 2 hours or so b/c I knew the rising sign (she told me). Awesome to talk to in person, a lot of attraction and sensuality, but horrible to communicate with in any other way and always far too busy so setting up plans was always a burden. IP: Logged |

I don't know too many lawyers in a personal sense--very few actually. One of the few is a boyfriend of a friend. He actually seems like a great guy for the most part. He's very into music and I swear him and Van Morrison are part of the same larger Spirit self. I don't know his full chart, but do know that he has very strong Leo-Virgo combo. I'm glad to have met him because I know from research that there is most definitely a higher percentage of people within the NPD and ASPD (psychopathic and sociopathic) spectrums within this profession. And sometimes us humans tend to overly focus on the dramatic and negative. But clearly there are very decent people in there as well. If I could stand the b.s., the lack of real justice and fairness (I know I can't--heck, my name is Justin and self is aptly named), I probably could make a decent lawyer because I have the kind of mind that is good at debate and finding flaws and logic holes in various data. I think a strong combo of Capricorn, Libra, Virgo, and Mercury are indicative of that (maybe Leo Rising for the necessary stubbornness and ego fire). Moderately highlighted Libra Pluto in the 3rd contributes as well. IP: Logged |

The lawyer I know is a Gemini Sun too. My cousin did paralegal-work for many years, Capricorn Sun, has since started her own (decor) business. IP: Logged |
