Cool subject,I wish I could write up some more, but me so sleepy... Anyways -- quote: Fame is too general. You could end up being famous for say being a mass murderer or not gaining fame until after you die.
That's why many "iconic" figures have H4 in the process. The fame-after-death situation propells them into fame stratosphere. I think OP refers to fame in positive connotation, otherwise they'd use notoriety/infamous words instead. *** MC plays big role, regardless of the times we live in,what one does (professionally) matters, especially if we observe this from transits angle, each time tPlanet makes a move across MC/H10 it puts the planet in spotlight, simple as that. Many astrologers believe that the ruler is essential when we choose our profession (the oldest,Ptolemeic meaning + place in society) and rightly so,only if there is no MC/H10 planet, there is no direct impact. On Asc/MC natural square,it goes back to the days when the moment would come when one has to literally step into society, and to assume a role - yes,an individual, but with duties and rules to follow, mores to honour. It is not the case where out MC persona would be different from our Asc,or where Asc is our "true self" : we all grow up,not undergo personality change. The Asc/Mc transitions are natural. One's personality definitely holds a spot in the fame hierarchy - famous people are very loved, and rising planet is indelible, specifically charming part of personality. However,it does clash with MC - for example, actors cannot hide their rising planet,Helen Mirren is superb, but undeniably hot & seductive : Venus Rising. It is a downside,if they are typecasted or project same flavour in different (acting) occasions. When somebody talks about a celebrity we haven't heard of,they are identified by what they do,so the MC is No.1 factor. Moon on MC attracts crowds, since Moon rules people, and the collective need. You'll find quite a few celebrities with Mc/H10 Moon,I think MJackson is one of them,he has huge fan base, next to formidable career. Tom Hanks has H10 Venus, and you can't find actor more loved than him,and he is very talented at what he does... Putin has MC Pluto... 'nuff said Einstein, the superstar of physics, has strong MC - Albert has 3 planets in H10,with Sun aspecting MC,but his scientific glory is well shown by Merc conj Saturn in intuitive Pisces. H10/5/3/12 connections are also favorable, since they interconnect tightly - for career and potential fame, talents are important : they can be a enjoyable hobby and creation,or need for self-experession,to the bolts of intuitive and genius on a different level - H12 also governs the collective unconscious, and relating to one generation's psyche is very important. (be it a present one or the generation of tomorrow) Many famous persons are famous because they can speak to many generations, and their work is respected through centuries. Uranus is also good for any kind of brilliant statement. As for the maze... well,we all have them. Only some of them are in the form of a circle and others have a way out: (final) dispositors. One can benefit greatly if the chart is well interconnected, just as those who have focus through singled out t-square or unaspected planets. It boils down to sense of style, really.

Sign-wise, my chart boils down to a S-turn/Neptune mutual reception and Pluto. House-wise, it ends in Venus and in Pluto. IP: Logged |

You can't "maze" houses,only planets.The crumbles of bread never lead to an empty house,it seems,by OP's theory.IP: Logged |

A disproportionate number of entertainers from the older generations, are Pisces Moons. From the newer crop, the sign Sag seems to be prominent. I don't think moon in or near the 10th necessarily means fame so much as having an emotional need/desire for personal or professional recognition - a need to be "seen" all the time. Fame is just one possible way that could manifest. I know a person with the moon in that area and she seemed to always be complaining that no one ever noticed her and even resorted to dyeing her hair blue. IP: Logged |

I've Pluto, ruler of the 10th, in 10H square Saturn in the 1st and was community infamous in high school. I became city infamous in a different country 3 months back for a crime I didn't commit. Lo0oolz. The crime was gang robbery of branded products and astrologically, I've Mercury(the planet of theft) conjunct Venus(beauty/brands) in the 10h in Sag(abroad). Both sextile the ascendant. There's an out of sign Pluto/Merc conjunction. I guess Pluto/Saturn is a magnet for notoriety. IP: Logged |
