I am 9 months pregnant. Baby may be born any day now. I am concerned because any day between now and her due date has Venus conjunct Saturn. Venus conjunct Saturn points to a miserable childhood spent trying to obtain the love of a stoic, distant, cold parent, and as a result, an adult life filled with a search for love and trust. EEK!!! Someone tell me more, please. I truly want more than just about anything for my baby to be happy and loved and feel loved and have a joyful childhood.IP: Logged |

This is my chart. Does it indicate me being a bad mother? http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e&gif=astro_w2gw_01_britt_hp.10683.20003.gif&res=63&va=&cid=copfileAjpOQj-u1278195242 IP: Logged |

I dont think venus conjunct saturn points to a bad childhood. It makes you more stable in love department. You may also seek mature partners.Another issue maybe that it makes you feel insecure, you may judge whether you are good enough for your partner. The house in which it falls is very important to see in which area you will feel like that.I have venus conjunct saturn aspect and I had a wonderful childhood though I have never had good relationship with my parents.IP: Logged |

Thank you for the reply. Tell me, do you feel that Venus conjunct Saturn lends itself to a poor relationship with your parents? Were you parents cold and distant? Any other aspects in your chart which may contribute to a good childhood?IP: Logged |

Nope it was not the venus conjunct saturn aspect. It was probably because my sun conjuncts saturn and saturn is in 4th house, this is probably responsible for poor relationship with father. My moon is in 8th house quincunx pluto, neptune and uranus, this is probably the reason for poor relationship with mother.I also have Mars in 4th house which causes quarrels and trouble in home. But another person having the same aspects and placement can have good relationship with their parents,it depends upon how the parents raise the baby rather than aspects or placements. When your baby is born, post your baby's birthchart,we can give you advice according to the chart. I am not sure what aspect in my chart contributed to great childhood, probably venus in 5th,I am not sure,I have great grandparents, they made my childhood awesome. IP: Logged |

You have a lot of Aries and Aquarius in your chart, that will help in your relationship with your baby if your baby is born as sagittarius.Your baby will have venus in scorpio, you have moon and pluto in scorpio, that will also help a lot.Your pluto will definitely conjunct your baby's saturn.Your baby may teach you about drawing boundaries and creating lasting values. You also have sagittarius ascendant which is quite similar to sag sun so it will help you in understanding each other.Everything looks good.

Thank you. I love her so much already. I feel that I already know her and that she is my best friend as well as my dear baby. It's funny what you wrote about her helping me learn to draw boundaries, because I feel intuitively that that is something she will help me with. IP: Logged |

Congrats! I'd strongly suggest you focus on her Moon sign and to lesser extent house position, because the Moon represent the quality the child demands - this is brilliant piece of observation from Dana Gerhardt. I'd wouldn't worry much about the conjunction. Oh,cool kids in the astrostore,Mars conj Pluto in Cap sounds so powerful. IP: Logged |

Good luck! Babies are the best. I have Venus trine Saturn. IMO, love isn't always easy with Venus-Saturn aspects in the chart, but the people have a serious kind of devotion that is very special, if you earn it. I think you will! Baby pictures are welcome here, too, hint hint! IP: Logged |

Cool. You know, Faith, that makes it in to a good thing, instead of something scary. What would be your advice on how to guide her to use this aspect in the best way? Thank you, Faith. Your response is full of love and I feel it. <3<3<3IP: Logged |

You're being way way to pessimistic about this placement.I have Venus square Saturn and I didn't have a miserable childhood. My best friend has Venus conjunct Saturn, and again, didn't have a miserable childhood. We both had fears of abandonment, but if you know this, you can work with it. IP: Logged |

Thank you again. Every response I receive chips away at my fears. You guys are great. I am worried that an astrological placement means certain life events are set in stone to happen. I am guessing now that that is not the case, and they can just be warning signs for the wary parent? What to avoid and what to do more of?IP: Logged |

Owls, if I may ask, what caused your fear of abandonment? Was it something your parents did or didn't do? Or did it come from somewhere else, or was there no reason for that feeling? If that's too personal a question, don't feel pressured to answer.IP: Logged |
