There's a world of difference between not believing in, or being interested in, spiritual phenomena, and actually being totally divorced from the spiritual world, which I think no living thing with a soul is, and to me the fact that you even said that, smacks of condescension where your "friend" is concerned.

Maybe he just can't feel you because it's all in *your* head, or you two don't have that connection. And in all honesty? If that's all you think of him, that he's just incapable of feeling anything in a spiritual context, then I'm absolutely not surprised that if there *is* anything like that going on, it's on your end only and he can't feel it. Maybe on some subconscious level he picks up on how you really see him and feel about him and so he locks you out.

Maybe you don't know him like you think you do. You certainly don't give him enough credit as an equal human being capable of being just as connected to the spiritual world as you are.

And no, I won't.

For example, if they put their Venus in my 12th, there could be romance, beauty or fashion as a subject of my dream (not always, but often).

With the Moon, it's usually more subtle and blurry, it's like they "send" me little signals to make me aware of something.
Like what happend to me, twice, is that I dreamt of one girl I have a lot of compassion for, and the next day I would see her in the street or she'd reply to one of my messages. Like a telepathic connection, except that I was the only one feeling it.
Or my very good friend, who has her Venus in my 12th. I often dream about her when she's not feeling well, so I always contact her whenever I dream about her because there's usually something going on.
Also, there's a guy whose Mars falls in my 12th and I used to dream about him harassing me sexually! So weird.
And of course, my greatest love, whose Venus fell in my 12th. I still dream about him sometimes, even though it's been years since we last saw each other.

Has anyone experienced this?

I think the fact that my progressed Moon & SR Moon are in the 12th and opposed by transiting Neptune emphasizes this, but.. maybe there's something to it.

YES! I had this with my ex Mr. Leo. His moon conjunct my Pluto exact (!!) in the 12th.

I had incredibly good intuition concerning his moods. I would dream almost movie-like dreams about him and they would often relate to Real life happenings between us in the coming weeks, his secret moods. Since it fell in Scorpio the connection was quite intuitive, intense and deep. It felt quite unnerving at times. I would frequently anticipate when he was in a really dark or depressed mood, or felt something he was hiding from me. Talk about the 12th in action.

Another weird thing is that, I would know little things about him he wasn't aware of, like the true nature of his emotions. And even where he misplaced little things around his house or my house when he came over. It was almost like I had a foggy - keyword foggy - view of his emotional spectrum and some processes in his head. SO WEIRD. I didn't really enjoy this which I wanted to highlight. It was instinctual and I couldn't control it. I didn't necessarily gain anything but more apprehension and sadness from it since he suffered from severe anxiety + depression. Yeah, we had an intense emotional connection... BUT quite a rocky one!

It actually makes sense (why) maybe only one person experiences it..

I had many dreams about someone that has planets in my 12th..
I asked him, if he ever had a dream about me and he said no...

Maybe someone dont want to remember or maybe its only one person having the experience.

I also understand what birdy meant.. He's not open to it, not meaning he's not a spiritual person per say..
More that he's not open to being spiritual or ready to have those experiences...

You know what? I don't think you have to be "spiritual" in that cliched, yoga-pose way in order to feel something like that. We're all automatically spiritual beings whether we believe in chakras and meditate or not.

Honestly, I've tried "spiritual" stuff but a lot of the time I'm skeptical of most of it myself. I do believe and accept that some unexplainable things are valid and real, but I don't think you need to be a Theosophist or Rosicrucian in order to be spiritual and connected to the spiritual world. I think it's automatic, and that we all have that connection, and that you don't have to *do* anything or believe in anything specific.

That whole mindset just really annoys me, because it reeks of superiority complexes and elitism, and that type of thing is rife in the new-age/"spiritual"/metaphysical world - where somehow, if someone doesn't believe in this stuff, or doesn't know every yoga pose, or doesn't know alchemy, is somehow considered an ignorant moron or not as developed of a soul, and I HATE that. "I can quote Khalil Gibran, so I'm more advanced than you".

Honestly? I think *the* most spiritually developed people are the folks who've never gone near "The Secret of The Ages", and have no idea who Manly P Hall is, and have no idea about the specifics of yoga, or crystals, don't believe in it, and have no interest in it, because those are the people that, more often than not, see everybody as equals, and actually live and embody, without trying, all the principles the "spiritual" people babble about, but never actually practice.

There are plenty of people who don't know or care about those things and they can absolutely tell you what it's like to feel bonded with another person and feel a connection with them and yes, even experience interaction with them in dreams. They may write it off or dismiss it as just standard dreams, but they still experience everything the so-called spiritual do, in fact most of them experience more, because, like I said, they live and move through their lives in a way that is actually a hell of a lot more spiritual and loving in a true sense than the people babbling about raising their kundalini.

Am I going off on a tirade right now? Yes, I absolutely admit that - because seeing people be minimized like that, absolutely sets me off. If that wasn't what was meant by the post then I take it back, but honestly it read that way to me, and I doubt I interpreted it wrong...

Yeah, no wonder the connection is one-sided. And you're supposedly the 'spiritually aware' one?

And sure, I could fill out the blank, honey - but I'll let the mods do it.

You're the one name-calling and flaming; I should ask you that question.

And look, I'm a grown woman. I'm not going to sit here and argue with you because you got some straight talk you didn't want to hear. If there was nothing to what I said, you wouldn't be flying off the handle about it now; you'd just correct me calmly and have said that wasn't the case. Your reaction is telling.

I'll give you another bit of astrological advice too on my way out - I totally believe that Venus conjunct Saturn aspect, and in your first post you verbalized it. He probably blocks you out (Saturn) on some subconsicous level because deep down he senses that you don't love (Venus) appreciate and respect him as an equal human being.

No wonder it's just you "experiencing" this. I'd lock you out too if I were him.

I agree i Don't think doing yoga means spiritual..

Spritiual can mean anything you want it to be, and it can be expressed in any way that's comfortable.

For me spiritual means your higher self.. How one gets there doesn't matter...
Its.not easy for some of us...
5 yrs ago i would have laughed at the idea...
But A series of events kicked my butt into gear...

I'm not young either I'm 40 and just recently became open...
I have a Leo stellium of 4 planets. You know how hard it is to change me...lol

Btw. I've never heard of those things you mentioned..
I use astrology and learning to reach my higher self.

For years I had recurring dreams about this guy I was seeing. His Sun/Venus conjunction falls in my 12th house, making a tight conjunction to my SN and ascendant. I dreamed that he was cheating on me almost EVERY night. Trust issues are definitely a 12th house matter, and so is the inability to see someone clearly.

I happened to marry him in the end (yikes !)

It's okay, birdy. Thanks.

Interesting replies.

I'm not sure I agree with Stacy, because I actually think that some people are indeed "closed" to spirituality and therefore are less likely to experience deep, intuitive connections. BUT I'm definitely not sure about this, because sometimes very cynical and grounded people experience such things.. I guess. But I still think that the more open-minded you are, the more likely you are to have spiritual experiences.

Aeole -

So, why do you think you had all these negative dreams about him? Was he really cheating? Are you guys still together?

Doux rêve : we're still together, although trust is definitely a recurring issue in our relationship. He's a very friendly and even flirtatious (but not in an obnoxious way) guy. His has a sun/venus conjunction in Taurus, and a pisces ascendant. He wants to please and get along with just everybody he crosses path with, be it male or female. And I guess my very jealous scorpio nature doesn't cope well with that. I don't think he's ever cheated on me. I'm just projecting my fears and past experiences on him (again, a very neptunian/12th house matter)
