I have a very dear Pisces gf who is very ummm.... different to the usual Pisces descriptions. But, she has some Aries/Sagittarius influence in her chart~

She's got one of the hottest tempers of anyone I know... she's still a very lovable woman, and a romantic at heart~ but she's got 60ft walls and turrets shielding that part of herself... most people she rubs the wrong way, and a lot of people just find her scary... she has some Pluto/Saturn Scorpio placements too I think...if that has any influence on her I can't be too certain.

But, yeah those fiery Pisces are something to behold. Great fighters~ I scrapped with my friend a few times in our school years/just out of school... she can fight, not a clean fighter, but oh... she holds her own pretty well.

My husband's brother is a Pisces - although he really acts like he should be a Aries or Taurus too~ I never checked his astrological chart... not sure I want to. He's very loud, very brash, ultra-masculine, assertive~

there's not a passive aggressive bone in either of these two characters~

I think it's fire/cardinal influences... not sure~ ^^; but you're not alone~ <3

strong Mars/Pluto/Saturn aspects

and house placements --- I'm not sure but maybe the planets in the 1st or 9-10th houses would make somebody with unbreakable will, inner strength/conviction, and overall more assertive~? aspects to AC/MC ~ although you'd probably not be in total control over the appearance of those traits in relation to AC/MC~ it could play a small role in being seen that way~ by others?!

lol like I said, I would literally get into fist-n-cuffs with my Pisces friend~ (moxy of our Irish blood)~

I don't think Libra and Cancer are usually as associated with fighting~ but they've got some aggression in them too~ more than most would think... definitely more than I've experienced with most other signs~

Just relying on one thing or the other isn't enough~ The other placements will reinforce whatever trait the sign gives though~

but in terms of assertiveness - I'd expect that trait from a Cardinal~ firstly, a fire sign secondly, and then, anyone with strong MARS-PLUTO-SATURN ~

lol Mars doesn't mess around, Pluto never runs away, and Saturn never gives up...

^^ what you get with Saturn is an iron-riveted leather hide with bones of steel~

But to answer your question, yes. I'm a Pisces and I'm very blunt and outspoken, and other people often view me as rude and sometimes aggressive (although I don't intentionally come off that way of course). But then again, I do have Mercury in Aquarius and Mars in Leo. I also have the absolute worst temper. I don't hold grudges, but you better run for the ten minutes or so that I am mad (that's actually about how long it takes for me to get over things).

While I don't seek out fights (and will actively avoid in some cases - my question to myself: "Is this the hill you want to die on?"), I'll kick in once pushed...just...far enough; and will assertively pursue something once I've decided I want it.
Just ask my husband.

Oh, and I can have a wicked, quick temper, though that's something years and experience have helped to...er, temper at least a little bit.

I know they can be very agressive with speech and if abused and used to much in their life can become like a bully to the ones they don't trust.

Moon in Leo 25°-a degree known for criminals and indeed I made a thread about placement on this site)

Scorpio Ascendant 8°-I'm practically far more Scorpionic than Pisces

Mercury in Aries-Known to grant a Pisces Sun stronger willpower and assertiveness.

Pluto in Scorpio-Thus this increases my Scorpionic tendencies even much more since Pluto is the sign that is generally associated with Scorpio.

I know why though

Leo ASC, Aries Venus, and then a whole little mess of Planets/Asteroids and my Vertex in Sagittarius, Mars/Uranus conjunction included.

I think it has a tendency to turn my deep flowing Piscean seas into explosive boiling geysers lol

I'm definitely much more out-going, outspoken, and in-your-face than any description of Pisces I've ever read. That's actually part of why I started studying astrology. I only *felt* some of the Piscean descriptions, but when I read about Leo ASC I was like "Holy crap, that's me! Finally!" lol Glad to meet another strong fish! The world needs more of us
