I have one on my Libra ascendant. Btw, I think my whole chart is in detriment because the signs are all on the opposite houses they rule. It's like everything is bass aackwards in my chart which leads me to believe the chart itself is weakened. Anyway, this Mercury/Jupiter conjunction manifests itself in a thirst for knowledge, at times arrogance, a flair for languages and foreign cultures, open minded and I am liberal and consider myself socialistic. Please don't get mad at me for confessing to socialism though I am not one in the purest sense of the word.
What about any of you? Do any of you have a Mercury/Jupiter conjunction? If so, how does it influence the way you think and communicate?
My conjunction is in Libra, my ascending sign. The ruler of Libra, Venus, is kind to it as well so it's only affliction is that to Saturn in form of Quincunx which is a confusing aspect for me, the Inconjunct. Anyone have insights on those? Taurus Saturn does not support my Libra planets, cannot see eye to eye with them on any level, I guess.
I also have Venus in house number ten. What I wonder is, since Saturn is best placed in Libra, the sign of it's exaltation, why isn't Venus well placed in house number ten with Capricorn the traditional ruler? Problem with mine is it's squared by Saturn, traditional ruler of the tenth house so it's like it doesn't really matter anyway. It's still a messed up Venus regardless of house placement.
