It's not that i dont get along with earth signs or dislike them.. bc i like them a lot. They can be really goofy and upbeat, and sympathetic n sweet too. It's just that I couldnt ever live with one. Or be super close to one. Bc we dont understand each other. They like cleaning and everything organized, i could care less. They keep their emotions inside, i easily open up. Theyre usually meticulous about living a certain way, doing things right, keeping in touch 24/7, being on time. Having no earth, though i do somewhat appreciate that in them, its very hard for me to be the same way to them. Also they seem to want to chase their careers, while i strongly identify much more with the air sign's humanitarian goals. Career is one of the least important things to me. I don't like Gemini girls unfortunately. Several turned out to be extremely two faced. I really like Taurus guys and girls (super sweet), Cap's are pretty trustworthy, Sag and Leo are fun, Virgos are dependable and Aries girls are always pretty cool. Just haven't had the best experiences with Gemini girls. I attract alot of scorpio moons. They can be hard to handle. IP: Logged

But I can't seem to come to peaceful terms with: Virgo females Cancer females I've had best friends in both signs when I was younger, but no longer. Don't get me wrong, I like any individual okay but without fail...if I end up clashing with someone over time, it's those 2 signs above. Geminis come in 3rd. We can talk for HOURS. But on an emotional level, we never click, they're too flighty, and not trustworthy. All of my close female friends are air signs or earth signs. Maybe it's because I'm heavily air and heavily fixed so I can relate to both (verbal, social and analytical; need for stability and calm). My two closest friends are both (one's an air sign earth moon; the other's an earth sun air moon lol). With men, it's more varied. I have male Cancer friends. I also have two Scorpio friends (one's a male, one's a female); both have Sagittarius Venus. Several of the Aries men I have met I started out arguing/debating with them because we fundamentally disagree (Aries men tend to be staunchly right-wing) and it grew into a mutual respect and finally a long-lasting friendship. No Aries or Leo female friends though and Sagittarius females I like but they're hard to pin down in terms of plans; I find sometimes that the sign uses people for when they need them and ignores them when they don't. Because of so much Cancer in my chart, I come off to them as too emotional and guarded. Had problems with a Cap girl at my job not to long ago. For some unknown reason, I do get help from Taurus at times, especially the women. Its usually when I am in a very bad situation. IP: Logged
SaturnineMoth Knowflake Posts: 2438 From: Gaea's Omphalos Registered: Aug 2012	posted December 04, 2012 11:31 AM personal experience -- I have nil for Air in my chart ~ so there's pretty obvious differences in communicating with people who are Air dominant or Air signs... not so much with Aquas~ (I always tend to think that's because we -shared- something special a long time ago~ lol --- ruler-wise)~ plus, I have an Aqua-nanna that I love to pieces~ haha (nanna's defy any sign differences, no?) I don't have too too many Gem friends and only know guy-Gems from here --- (ya'll seem cool to me... just sayin')... but my Gemmy girlpals are the tops when it comes to chatting for hours about everything under the sun~ and I've never had any actual arguments/disputes with any of them --- 'cept my Baba (grandma); she and I had huge issues with communication until I was much older. In fact, until I had my son I was sure she actually hated me, and my family. But, yeah, no~ just weren't on the same page. I always looked up to her though - she's strong and no bullsh^t type. Libras and I (having two Libra mothers now, birth mom and MiL) --- yeah we can argue like the dickens~ (I always tell those who ask how I'm getting along with my MiL, it took me 20 years to understand and get along with my own mother, I'm not spending the next 20 trying to understand his...) So --- we don't have a whole lot in common. But, I find that in social settings we're fine usually (peer group at least - there' something to be said for those of other generations though.). But, absolutely not romantically fine~ and the same sorta goes for Aqua-men... love/hate with Aqua guys~ usually end up getting hurt. Again, this is just from my personal experience - and I'm always trying to adapt ad understand the other elements - finding their strengths and being enlightened by the wisdom of the ones I have most difference or difficulty with is part of what inspires me to continue learning astrology, after all. ^m^ ------------------ You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm. -SGC IP: Logged

They and some Scorp women tend to vie for alpha-status, and, while I don't usually directly oppose them, I hate it when someone tries to take the lead (Pisces Sun, Aqua Moon, 1st H Uranus). ...except for my Leo Sun/Pisces Moon paternal grandmother. She is the Queen. Gem women and I tend not to click unless they have a lot of earth or water also in their chart. Even then, we'll talk and talk when we happen to be together, but will make no effort to maintain a friendship. I've dated several Gemini men. They fall into my 8th house, so... If i can explain Capricorns by being in the sign in which my Saturn is, then no reason for Virgo - it's my ASC sign actually! But nop, i don't like them. They are too neat, too closed for my taste... this especially goes for Virgo Moons and Suns. I can tolerate other planets there, though. One might think i have problems with Earth signs, but no --> actually i like Tauruses very much! Capricorn also squares my Sun, but despite that i like Cancers. IP: Logged
