Let’s go to a place where everything is dark.
Where night never fully turns into day
Where dogs never bark

Where the chillen snow covers the ground
And the mist beneath the clouds never lets up
Where tradition is revered and Victorian’s the getup
Where people are all pale and their lips red as cherry
Where children are always quiet and well-mannered, but never merry.

Let’s leave behind pretending we know who we are
That we’re happy and surrounded by smiles.
Let’s find happiness in sadness.
and magic in gloom.
Let’s forever drown our sorrows in the beauty of our empty room.

Less is more and saturn as my ruler,
I’ll forever be a slave to the happiness ruiner.
But for now let’s transpire the anguish
And focus on despair.
I bet you’d never dare, go there.
Let’s be real, and frightened
For the world is full of sadness
Shake the shackles that beauty is only happiness.

Sadness can be pretty, in fact it often is
Because it’s real
Has more appeal
Than you could ever feel
From your painted on smiles,
and your joyless laughter.

Come with me to the land of dark attire
and walking disaster.
And you’ll never have to be happy again.

I think I'd read Ichabod Crane was Capricorn too~ >.> don't quote me on that - it may have been just someone's musings~
Addams - not sure~ Wednesday may have well been... but - the show originally aired in Sept... IDK 'bout the comics nor remember when the films were released~ hah

It's about being yourself. Like the Addams Family is. They see past everyone's fake smiles and sugary sweet behavior. And take joy in the macabre, but are more loving and [genuinely] happy than any other family you'd find.
