Hey everyone, I want all of your thoughts and experiences on this! I'm having a lot of uranus activity occurring in the start of 2013. I will have pluto conjunct uranus, uranus square uranus, and uranus oppose sun in the 12th.

I wanted to know if any of you have experienced a uranus contact with your sun, and what was it like for you?

Oh I remember, I remember that one.

in 2009 I was having:

Tr Uranus squaring natal Sun and Mercury (Uranus being in my 3rd house, Sun and Mercury being in my 1st house and ruling 7th and 9th)

pr Sun entring Aquarius and being square Uranus

So enough Sun/Uranus.

Well, coincidentally when the aspects were exact, I was making my first trip to London after several years.
A friend and me had planned to meet there for the first time (we had been emailing each other for 4 or 5 years at that time, and never met), and I had asked my brother and his girlfriend to come along. On top of that we wanted to go and see Jude Law as Hamlet on stage (and actually had tickets).

-

Well that was the plan. But nothing went as it should be.

First my brother and his girlfriend couldn`t come because of financial issues and some tests they had at university.
Then a few days prior departure to London my friend emailed me, and couldn´t make it due to financial issues. LOL

So there I was. The only reason I ever agreed to go to London and find the courage was that I knew I would not be alone there. And now I had to make that choice. Either stay at home and safe and give in to my fears of the unknown or go there alone and see Hamlet.

For once in my life I decided to go there nevertheless, and I did.

And then when I arrived, my credit card didn`t seem to work. It was a very worrisome hour, with me not knowing where tostay even, and even calling my Dad so he maybe could send me some money. And it was a long hour of uncertainty and close to panic.
Until the staff finaly realized that they simply had read the card wrong. Apparently you have to type in the number of German credit cards, as they cannot be read automatically. No clue.

Well, I was offered a bigger room, but it turned out the room was practically underground, and I had to chang eit again the next morning, cause I felt like I was suffocating there.

However I did go and see Jude Law as Hamlet. But seing that I am overweight it was a torture to sit in this seat the first night. I was having the marks on my thighs for days.

Anyway the second night, I did not fit into the seat at all, as it was in a bit of a "curve" and just a bit narrower than the other seats, and it was that bit TOO narrow for me.

Again Iw as faced with a choice. Simply sneak out of there and die of embarassment and not see the play a second time, or talk to someone of the staff.
Before I would have chosen option no 1, simply disappear and die of embarassment.
But somehow that Uranus transit forced me to go the unusual route for me.
And the person I talked to, offered me to stand in the background (and it was a theatre that didn`t really have standing tickets), and I accepted the offer. So I was the only person, between the guys from the staff, who are always standing there, in the back. Well, 3 hours standing is notz really a joy eitherk, especially since people were staring at me for some time. LOL

Well, yes that was Uranus for me. In retrospect it was pretty great, I had much fun during the trip.

Cpoincidentally when I made my first trip ever on my own, it was to Paris, to meet people from an internet forum and see a show.
And it turned out the hotel had forgotten about me, and had given out my prebooked room, and I ended up sharing a double room with one girl from that forum, who was so nice to offer it to me.
And I accepted that, and I usually NEVER share a room, if I can avoid it.
Certainly did not go according to plan either, but itwas a great experience.

Back thenb Tr Uranus was conjunct my Moon.

That was a really entertaining story! Thanks for sharing! Yeah, i can see how your Uranian transit played out in things not going as planned. However, you seemed to adjust well to the curveballs thrown your way.

I have the opposition natally.

I'm trying to remember the square to my Sun (from Capricorn). I know it was there with Neptune. I was heavily into my artwork at the time.

Scales84,

I have Moon in Aquarius natally; my Uranus is pretty much unaspected, though some people might count the out of sign sextile to Sun and Mercury.

Iam a very careful person, who likes things to be "under control" and doing a lot of planning, opposite to what this configuration might indicate (in the enneagram I score hightest as 6, 4,5 - it seems to differ with the tests).

However, whenever I have to adjust to unforeseen things that challenge me to expand my boundaries, this is when I feel truely alive.

A few weeks ago someone had the idea that someone could do a small theatre play on Latin with some pupils for visitor`s day at school, and for some reason I was left to do it.
it was much too little time for my taste; pupils and me were rewriting and adding some scenes so we actually worked even on the already present script (it was a simplified version of Pyramus and Thisbe, which was the model for Romeo and Juliet).
We ended up with bein under so much timepressure, that we could only have one or two real rehearsals before.
It was CHAOS. But the process was so much fun for all included, and I thrived on this kind of work, the pupils had fun to the point that others were later on complaining that they weren´t in the theatre group (I didn`t exclude anyone, everfyone was allowed to join; but it seems that at first the others didn`t want to, and then got envious, when they saw how much fun the other in the group had).
Well, I was ultra nervous before visitor`s day, as some hadn`t even had finished learning their text at the last rehearsal.
Nevertheless it went wonderfully. First performance was a blast, and I was feeling so touched that I was having tears in my eyes, cause I knew that the pupils there would never forget that, and some of the introvert ones had really come out of their shell during the process.

The second performance was more chaotic, as "Pyramus" completely forgot her text. But she was seeing it through, with the help of some others who whispered the lines to her. Everyone noticed of course, but for some reason it did not matter that it was not perfect. It was fun, and I was endlessly proud of the girl, as she was so nervous before and despite knwoing she didn`t know her words, she did not give up but PLAYED it to the end. That takes a lot of courage!

Again, Tr Uranus had his hand in my transits.
It was exactly conjunct my IC that day, trine Mars and square Venus, which is ruling my 5th, 6th and 10th house.

Thanks for that story about the theater play! Again, entertaining. I am curious as to how those uranus influences will impact me having read the above experiences !

The secret is that you have to stay open and go with the flow.

If you try to stick to old routines, Uranus will shake you through and through, and the more you cling to the old and resist the new (approach to things), the more bruises you might get.
But if you go with the flow, it can give you a splendid time, exhilarating.

Just think of it:
The oaktree might break in the storm, the willow tree bends and swings back again, unbroken.

Thank you. That is great advice that I will take to heart during this time! I have sun square uranus natal. Also, it will oppose my sun in the 12th, (buried secrets coming up, subconscious, etc) So, it will certainly shake things up

well since 2009, transiting uranus Rx has been conjuncting my aries sun, and now it's tighter than before ( 3 orbs )

I have some nasty aspects in my natal chart with a pretty dominant Saturn , but this transit ... it feels like finally someone has uncuffed me.

Except for some current challenging transits, this transit feels like it's easing out all the rough handling I've been treating myself ... it's not that " I don't care " but it is more of "I have something more important and more spiritual to sink my teeth in".

Currently, I still have morals , but no boundaries ... I feel at most peace and trance when I'm all by myself. Surprisingly, I noticed more people are interested in me and I'm not even trying to get their attention.

I feel lucky with this transit

Thanks Vickymadness,!

I think Uranus transits can be great for self-acceptance, and trying something one may not be comfortable with. I think because Uranus will transit my sun in the 12th, then this transit will make me more comfortable with expressing myself/beliefs, and taking the spotlight (12th house issue).

when transit Uranus opposing my Sun/MC
I lost a very important document for my graduation and had to actually get a psychic to find it (I never really trusted a psychic before. I knew some psychics are genuinely good, but I also knew there are more scams out there than truly good ones).
It turned out the document was stolen by a friend of friend. I don't remember when exactly he returned it, but I managed to submit it on time to qualify for graduation and it's within a few months after I met the psychic.
Two months after Uranus turned direct, it opposed my Sun/MC and I graduated.

I'm trying to apply logic to the transits that are now effecting me.

The other one I am curious of isn't easily found. Tr BML trine Natal Jupiter. I am feeling freakishly rebellious.

In my current comment here, I borrowed this quote from above: "Well that was the plan. But nothing went as it should be."
Tr Uranus is square my Natal sun now.
Anything I expect to go a certain way, goes @ss backwards on the spot. Nothing happens as expected and there's issues with my Lilith that are creating further difficulties in this.

I have the opposition, and I don’t consider myself rebellious, but other people might.

With the conjunction, my mother died.

I finally felt like a leader. I'm an Aries. When I don't try to be a leader and just part of the team, people seem to look to me as a leader more.

I also have my sun in the 11th house.

It was all stress for me, but as I said above, my mother died. I was sure that she was dying, and I was having trouble just getting up every day.
