Like, she can get past the superficial things so fast it's not even funny. You could be beating around the bush with her and within 10 seconds she'll know what you're trying to say. She can easily see through people, etc. What aspects would show this? I'm assuming something Pluto but not sure what exactly. IP: Logged |

o/I have Mercury in 11th (cancer-Pluto decan) sq Pluto and Uranus in 3rd (scorpio-Pluto decan). Pluto is also sq my sun (cancer-pluto decan) and moon. I smell bs coming...you don't even have to open your mouth. My chart ruler is Mercury (Virgo) which makes me read people in patterns. Final dispositors are Mercury and Uranus per Astro. com. All this might sound fascinating but it's super annoying to always analyze people. I am very suspicious and the smallest sign of a red flag, I disappear. IP: Logged |

My mother can read people pretty well, and quickly. She doesn't beat around the bush and can be very blunt. - Gemini ASC, ruler Mercury conjunct Pluto in Virgo
I am pretty much the same way. I also like getting to the root of a "problem", like analysing the (deeper, hidden) reasons of people's behaviour.

A friend of mine has great analytical abilities, she can definitely see through people and in addition has great intuition. Also speaks bluntly.

I have Mercury in Aries in the 11th, Moon opp. Pluto and Gemini ASC. I don't always know when someone is lying but I get the point of and see the motivation behind people's words really fast like you mentioned.IP: Logged |

I have Mercury quintile Pluto. Pluto is in the 8th. Makes it more or less impossible to manipulate me, and I'm really good at reading between the lines and picking up on people's motives - I don't even have to try, I just automatically know.I used to try and point stuff out for other people and warn others and confront some about their real motives and things like that...at this point I've given up on it because more often than not, people shoot the messenger, and more than that, a lot of times I think people believe what they need to believe or want to believe, and don't really want to hear the truth anyway. mercury/pluto aspects moon/pluto aspects. merc/mars aspect people tend to not beat around the bush,superficial or not.. . . the "seeing" right through people thing, is def a pluto thing though.IP: Logged |

Dang the girl I'm talking about has a few of these aspects.Pluto in the 3rd
Virgo rising, and Mercury in th 12th (which I'm thinking maybe makes her a bit more intuitive??

i've always believed i can sort of see the essence of a problem, action, thought, etc. the hidden intention, or quickest solution to fix problems. I have very high investigative abilities, it's like nothing can hide from me. i think this would have to do with my Pluto conjunct Scorpio MC sextiling capricorn Ascendant, saturn, neptune, mercury, and venus. Pluto is also Square Sun, opposite Moon, & sesquiquadrate Jupiter. It forms very intense aspects with all my personal planets, alot of which are in capricorn, i think giving me an intensity and very practical imagination. My Mercury is in 1st house conjunct Ascenant, Neptune, Saturn, and Venus.. both uranus & mars are also conjunct on ascendant in the 12th, opposite to jupiter, problably the reason for flashes of intuitive insight.IP: Logged |

me! hahaha but actually....i always have had an easy time with that.aqua sun sees past ********, moon in virgo will dissect it and analyze it, venus in pisces will love you because they understand the problem, and aqua mercury and sag mars will jump in and bluntly say it exactly like it is. also pluto in scorpio in 8th, so i'm really interested in getting to the bottom of the things. What kind of situations are you talking about, can you give more examples? So far, it sounds to me like you are talking about intuition (water signs and houses, especially Pisces/12H) combined with the ability to articulate the problem (air signs, Mercury, 3H) and a willingness to risk offending the other party by cutting through the smokescreen they may have deliberately erected (Pluto?) I intuit much, especially when I am talking to a person face to face (8H Pisces moon.) I can't always articulate the problem (Saturn opposes Mercury) but sometimes I can do it very well (Aquarius Mercury trine 3H Libra Pluto and Gemini Mars. Mercury is also sextile Sag Venus/Neptune, and Aries Jupiter; square Uranus.) Usually I don't want to rock the boat and will not "confront" the person (Pisces moon again), so it's not always very obvious that I am seeing past the superficial. Especially if the "superficial" person is habitually operating with blinders on, and that's what gave rise to them being superficial in the moment I'm meeting/talking to them. If they have an ongoing issue with superficiality, they are less likely to notice that I am interacting with them on a deeper level than what our conversation's content might suggest. But that situation is also common whenever Cap suns (like me) are talking with anyone...we want to get to the bottom line. So I'm not sure but maybe it's primarily a synastry thing, when you see two people vying for control over the level of depth in the conversation.
