In my younger years I was nearly the stereotypical Pisces in every way.

Irresponsible,weakling,physically frail (actually people would tell me I'm blessed with above average physical strength for a "nerdy waste" but I was nowhere close to athletic), lazy, messy and disorganized, and an Escapist with lots of bad habits.

I did have some Scorpio traits in my younger years like vengeful personality (to the point I would hold a grudge for years over one mere comment) and ability to accomplish tasks very quickly with excellency if it was related to my Escapist tendencies (say rewatching a TV Show I really loved such as Saint Seiya and Rose of Versailles a 2nd time or beating a game I was seriously addicted to ATM) as well as being incredibly perverse (I was a porno addict in my teens),hot-tempered, and can be nasty and violent. But overall a Pisces personality.

I won't got into much of the details because it embarrasses me as hell and I feel a lot of REMORSE and GUILT for a lot of the self-centered actions I did while in FANTASY LAND.

However starting mid 2012 I started becoming more and more Scorpionic in personality. Still have to struggle with Piscean tendencies, but I notice things I was too lazy or weak-willed to do or finish I am now managed to have completed. I now am developing more and more healthy habits and already I am approaching 7 MPH in Runnign speed where as back in Jan 2012 I was struggling to do even 4 MPH.

While I'm still a messy person I'm gradually pushing myself up to become more and more organized. I'm practically becoming more and more Disciplined,Responsible, and Hard-Working as well as more Athletic, which are all traits associated with the stereotypical Scorpio.

Its just so amazing and yet hilariously nonsense that I'm rapidly doing things like beating games I always gave up years ago within as short a time as a few days and finishing books I could never get past the first page in the past within a week. That

I've practically have pushed myself to the point I could do things I was never able to do physically such as run 1 mile at about 6 MPH and being able to do Sit-Ups.

WOW I never thought I could have done such stuff back in high school and I'm flabbergasted at all I've done since the past 5 months, and am extremely excited at the thought of what I'll accomplish in the upcoming season and what person I'll become once I've completed my Transformation.

Anyone here noticed that they have practically have been becoming more and more like their ascendant?

My mom is so much like this. In her younger years she had that Capricorn tendency to try to please others and was a "nice" girl. However after events in her life, she became more and more aggressive as well as argumentative. She can be quite eccentric at times to the point of nonsense.

I just learned yesterday she had an Aquarius Rising and when I researched that Ascendant, it matches my mom's current personality especially towards people who are neither friend nor family spot on :O!!!!

I have a friend from another site who's an Aries with a Cancer Ascendant. When he was young he was quite the Military type. He joined the army after graduating and went to Vietnam. After going home, as a result of suffering from PTSD..... Let's just say he was constantly going into fights and did stuff that could get im into trouble with the law (I'm not revealing more than that). From what I know of him, he's quite Cancerian now. He's frugal and lives simple and he does have that family vibe and love for family traditions Cancers are known for as well as a strong fondness for the past.

He's no longer as aggressive as he once was and he's pretty much mellowed down into the seemingly nice old man.

I got a Capricorn friend from another site and not only did she face hardships the stereotypical Capricorn typically suffers through for being so mature and serious in her childhood, she's still quite cold and distant and overrall Capricornish. She is I think 24 years old and has a Capricorn Ascendant hence making her a double Capricorn.

What do you all think?Is this true for you?

Virgo Rising Cap sun TRINE Tau moon
so - got that merc chart ruler plus it's my most dominant planet. (right next to Jupiter, and then either Saturn/Moon depending on which analysis device I use). <.<

I think I look the part of an Earthian... so appearance-wise nothing remarkable to set me apart from my other placements. T_T very plain jane, for the most part.

I acted like a typical Capricorn when I was younger - I think - having Cap lil brother and older uncle giving me a little something to compare and contrast with.~

total bookworm all serious --- very tidy very hygienic --- slight ocd...

but -- Merc makes me a bit more -flighty- maybe? even though it's grounded just within he first degree of Capricorn in my 4th house. --- I was born under Virgo/Merc decan with sun/rising (cap 3 - vir 1)

lots of air but it's all very much like a dust bowl~

As I've aged if anything has changed it's in having more confidence and not fearing failure and embarrassment so much. good god i couldn't take a joke in my youth-
now I don't mind when I'm caught without my wits --- I enjoy the laugh too!

~_~; I'm still pretty plain jane - although I had a phase where my hair went from every shade of red/purple to blue --- and I had a lip piercing not so long ago... rebelling a bit... >.>;

But, ultimately I've held onto the same outward identity I've always had. I'm just a little more okay letting the other elements show through with people. Little more trusting, not so cautious. >.<; still stress out over the lil' things - but it's a work in progress....

I see it as - going away - from that monotone image... instead of growing into it.

My appearance is deceptive either way - merc dominant with water dominant next is fire... so for me - even though it's wrapped real nice in that old, tacky, brown paper~ I've been pushing to get outta that box lil' by lil'...

first if you put all the qualities of pisces as negative and unwanted then you are just blaming the sun for your problmes as i have seen a lot f wonderfull pisces suns and had one for a close friend and he was brilliant...

second there is not exact way of saying what gets stronger with time...some asy the sun gets stronger and some asy the asc does...

i personally struggled with 2 different ascendant with my chart...one was cap rising that fits the time my mother gave me...the other is pisces asc which was talked about with 2 astrologers (one who specialised in ascendants)

to make things worse....i have neptune in cap and saturn in pisces in mutual receprion so its hard to tell tem apart XD

but i do believe i have pisces rising ^^

I think we're bound to get "focused" on certain aspects of ourselves (our charts) in a given time. So if you feel more Scorpionic than usual, it may be because for some reason (progressions, tranists maybe) you are more focused on your ASC at this point. It doesn't mean that your Sun is "weaker", it may just mean that you haven't had the opportunity/need/will to work on it and evolve in this particular area.

I just discovered my precise birth time, and with this new time I would be 14° Scorpio Rising thus putting me in the Pisces Decan.

Does this make any difference?

Just to add I learned that I am indeed Scorpio Dominant at 14.4% (with Aquarius being the 2nd most dominant sign at 14%) and Pluto is my dominant planet at 17.7% with my Sun coming at 14.1%.

I have Pluto in Libra in the 1st as well but square sun and venus and people love me or hate me. I am 28 yrs old and still deal with this. I'm a woman and I have had two women in the past 5 years stalk me because of some imagined slight I did them. I don't get it!
I think I've grown out of a lot of negative sign traits since I am a bit older now. Having a libra ascendant, I used to always have to be done up to go anywhere. Always would be checking mirrors to see if anything was out of place. Now I don't care so much. Ill go grocery shopping in my pjamas.

I just want to clarify I finally learned my exact time of birth and my Scorpio Ascendant actually does CONJUNCT[/] Pluto in Scorpio !!!

So it makes perfect sense for this atmosphere of either attracting people in so closely they love me or repelling them so far away they literally hate me is an intrinsic part of my nature. It doesn't help [B]Scorpio(14.4%) as well as Pluto(17.7%) Dominate my Chart!!!
