we actually went on this school trip in the 6th grade to this hertiage village type place...we did all these activities that natives would do on a daily basis and i swear...is was so natural and peaceful there..lol i was like..i wish i was actually a woman here back in those days. I even made firee with rocks and hay! and we had pop corn with maple syrup...i still do that till today...

anyway i always wanted a dream catcher but i wanted it to be somthing meaningful...do you just buy them or do they have to be given to you?

edit* btw which movie is this...lol does it have anything to do with actual dreamcatchers? edit some more** i think i found the movie..2003?...im going to wacth it..looks interesting.

LOL I DON'T DOUBT IT

Ohhhh yes, and the Ojibwe were especially peaceful. The Ojibwe were gatherers mostly, though I think we would fish when we could, or hunt too. Because they were peaceful, hiding and fleeing were emphasised. My mom always said, if you gave her a head start into the bush, you'd never find her.
From my dad's side, I'm Mohawk. Now they were the warrior types. Growers and hunters. Formed an alliance with four other nations and they ruled their territory. Mohawk were on the fringe so they had to be especially hardy.

You can buy them if you, or make one even. It doesn't HAVE to be a gift by law or anything, but if you do want it to be more meaningful, having it given to you is pretty special.

Have a good sleep Violet!

Ahem, on topic: I think I've come across my singer...Venus/Moon conjunct in Aquarius. I knew there was a reason I like 'em! Now hopefully they were born much earlier and their Moon is opposite my Venus so we have a double whammy.

What you are talking about RedScorp seems to echo my own personal beliefs. I also believe strongly in reincarnation and the idea of a "soul group". The concept of a Singer matches my definition of a soulmate. However, I undecided on whether you have just one "singer" in your lifetime, or more.......

Soul group sounds cool! And yeah, I imagine a singer is kinda like a soulmate, but the attraction is pretty much one sided. It could hit you right of the bat and they'll be like, "watlol". Or you could be worshipping them and they'll take advantage of that because the pull isn't felt on their end.

E's for us are pronounced like long A sounds. Any ways, the term is very close to the word for singer, as in, someone who sings lmfao! (nigamenini)

Your onigamowe nini is a person who you're just...drawn to. It can be from the moment you see them, talk with them, or it can happen later as you become familiar, but either way, you're just...drawn to them, in pretty much every meaning of the word. It's something that you can't explain, but you feel it. Imagine it like a soulmate sort of connection. You only ever have one singer and some people never even meet theirs (though apparently if yours dies, it's possible to meet another?).

Any ways, just now, I was thinking about it and I thought you astro fans might like the concept! My question is...are there any singer-type aspects, synastry or composite? An unrequited, soulmate-like attraction. Maybe even karmic?
How about experience? Do you think you've ever had a "singer"?

This is easy.

People whose planets or angles form aspects to :

Your angles
Your vertex axis
Your nodal axis

In synastry, will provoke that kind of feeling/reaction in you. I want to put Pluto on that list too, almost.

I noticed years ago, back in my actual childhood, that sometimes I have very intense, immediate reactions to certain people. Then after I read a few years ago that aspects to the above chart elements, will make you feel that way...I went back and did my synastry with the people who provoked that reaction in me, and in every...single...instance, they activated at least one of those parts in my chart.

My Vertex axis is really sensitive, in particular, but that's probably because my sun-moon midpoint is in that exact same area also, and it's a few degrees away from my Venus, too. I also respond strongly when someone's Pluto lands on my sun, mercury or venus, which is why I almost put that on the list also, but that might be more of a personal sensitive area than anything else.

There's been times where I had people trigger both of those areas in my chart at the same time, and my initial reaction to them was like Homer Simpson whenever someone mentioned donuts...I went into the slack-jawed, drooly blank-stare, and after that it got worse.
