Isn't Moon and Venus, the two main feminine energies, a good way of discovering what woman he would want?For example, if a man has Moon in Capricorn he will be comfortable with a woman who is detached or into the public career, even preferring a woman who is slender/older with darker hair and/or skin..
and if he has Venus in Aquarius alongside with it she will have to have a different style about her of course this is not sexually because Moon/Venus are more romantic than sexual. What people would have sex with and date are sometimes different.. LOL IP: Logged |

you are exactly right and your example is a good one. if you can attract the guy via your looks through his venus preferences and then keep him hooked emotionally via his moon - you'd get him IP: Logged |

If Moon/Venus is romance and love then is Mars the only sexual planet? Or do we include the Sun and Pluto too? Although I've never felt the Sun is very sexual....just forthright.IP: Logged |

I'd say the sun takes on the 'masculine' role, the moon plays the 'feminine' role, venus is the sensual and mars is the sexual

Yes Moon and Venus indicate what type of woman a man is drawn toward, but I also think the aspects to each planet and the house in which it resides should be taken into account. For instance, if a man has Moon conjunct Mars, he would be more likely to become emotionally attached to a woman who shows his Moon's qualities in a more aggressive or passionate way. Or a man who has Venus conjunct Pluto might like his woman's look to be a bit more intense, even if his Venus isn't in a typically 'intense' sign. If his Moon is in the 5th house, he might be more into a woman who portrays his Moon's qualities specifically in his fun activities, dating scene, creative endeavors, or around children....rather than portraying his Moon's qualities through talking, her words, her mind (which would be the case if his Moon was in his 3rd house, for instance). If his Venus is in his 10th house, he might be more concerned with the woman's appearance and femininity in the public eye, or more concerned with how she makes him look to others. Moon in Scorpio likes women that are mysterious and intense emotionally, Moon conjunct Pluto he is emotionally mentally attracted to femme fatales lol he likes a mystery Venus in Cancer but he would like her to be very affectionate and super loving towards him Physically id say a round face, curvy, or short woman.. Well, I certainly don't fit that bill lol. I have to restrain myself from freaking out all the time so much that a subdued reaction became primary (Moon in Taurus, Sun, Merc, Venus in Aries - passionate but not intense. I do have that Moon opp. Pluto though. ) Yeah he likes curvy girls.  Round face, blue eyes. And yeah I was kind of awkward with the whole touchy-feely thing and he was SUPER touchy-feely for the second time meeting. I wasn't used to it and he started sulking. Lol. PS. Venus is the physical attraction aside from their asc and the Moon is the emotional.

I am moon in Leo h10 and Venus in Taurus h7. My astrologer did decan rulers on my moon to determine my type. Moon (feminine) in Leo.. 2 degrees so Leo decan.. Sun in 7th (partnership) Idk I forget how he came up with it but he said I didn't like skanky looking women. More the, in his own words lol, the pony tailed, dress shirted, jeans, ballet flats type of girl. No idea y that Leo dude thought specifically of that outfit haha but he's a hoot and yeah sure I love that we'll put together babe. Screams Capricorn to me. I specifically said Alyssa Milano and Cindy Crawford because their from the era of "Supermodels" cheekbones darker features, beauty marks, full brows, healthy looking not the waifs of the 90s. I believe your bf's preference has to do with his mutable nature both venus and moon in a mutable sign. Water signs usually prefer average weight women of their surrounding.
