I'm a bit nervous right now. In my natal chart, both Saturn and Pluto (both are in Scorpio) are in my 10th house. Saturn is also my chart ruler. What does this mean for my Saturn Return? I'm 27, so I know it's coming up.....

don't worry , you are not doomed.. it just mean you are most likely to work for saturnine and pluto like profession... research,crime , psychology are some pluto /saturn professions. did you know many politicians have their 10th house consisting saturn in pluto. don't worry about success , it will come besides , 10th house is the most elevated part of the natal chart , it could also mean you are viewed as disciplined, serious and organized (saturn)or very mysterious and secretive(pluto) by other people. 10th house is our career house, its also how other people view of your character just as the ascendant!!

Your job could weigh heavily on your life. [Saturn in H10]. If Saturn makes any harsh aspects to other planets in your life it can speak of a conflict with performing work duties and always doing your best professionally with other things [example - Saturn in H10 opposite Moon in H4, your workaholic self might be at odds with your early environment, you might disconnect yourself with family in the future, since Saturn/work might take prevalence over the home/roots]. It can lead to serious drive, discipline and even overworking oneself because achieving goals is so important to you.

Pluto in the 10th can speak of transformations of all kinds, high and low, little and extreme in the work place and also, very visibly to other people around you since any planet near or on the MC will be more clearly expressed to other people. As mrsranndomorangee said, you could experience an interest in criminology, psychology, or detective business.
