Upset/confused about having an unaspected planet(s) in natal/synastry/composite?

In case, I want to encourage everyone to take a second look at the parallels of declination in natal/synastry/composite.

Does the unaspected planet now receive a (conta-)parallel?

Is there any rhyme or reason to the supposed unaspectedness now?

*

For a little bit encouragement, I found this somewhere on this forum;

quote:
Theories of singletons and supposed 'unaspected planets' are irrelevant junk pop-astrology, created by flat-sky astrologers who ignore the fact of the north-south movement of the planets. The attempt is to explain how these supposed 'lack of' conditions in a horoscope mysteriously strengthen a planet when the entire foundation of astrological interpretation is otherwise based on geometry: the actual existence of a relationship between planets/points. The energy is where the action and alignment are. Not where it isn't.

It doesn't hold up under scrutiny when you observe the whole 3-D sky, looking at the aspects in declination. Sometimes declination aspects (parallels and contra-parallels) form half the aspect picture.

in synastry i only have like two mercury aspects with this dude...we have allllllllll these amazing love aspects with out moon, venus, mars, pluto etc etc. but only mercury conjunct sun both ways.

do you think havin just that mercury aspect is enough or would that be considered unaspected? we have sun conjunct merc in composite too...

they always say if u cant connect mentally no matter what relationship wont go anywhere really hope were not doomed guys that im involved with i can usually talk for hourrrrrrrs on the phone, but this guys different. he hardly picks up the phone hahah. still beginning of relationship tho...

No worries fox, I would call that "paired linkage" a heavily aspected Mercury.
A 'paired linkage' (a term from magi-astro) according to them even equals the power of FOUR linkages.

I would say it's just waiting to reap the fruits of it. When/if you come closer to each other let me know how this plays out
A *beginning of* can often be very confusing.. (I had the same with someone I share great Merc. aspects with but I finally reaped the mental fruits of it)

And yes sillyme, they do show up when clicking on 'view the additional tables' on astro.com.
