Topic: Angular Houses & Planet with most aspects?

They say when analyzing a person's personality, dominant planets are stronger than dominant signs. Methods people usually use it the ruler of Asc and planets in the first house. It is also said that people can have from 2-4 dominants.An interesting Method I found is looking at angular houses and what planets are active there or the planet that rules the sign of that house. Angular houses is house 1 4 7 & 10  looking at my chart Of course mercury is my chart ruler, with it being ruler of my sun, asc, and at home with virgo in mercury. and most of my aspects are strong neptune-uranus aspects that trine my sun asc and mercury. something that confuses me is..what about that sun in the first house?? i never felt solarian i've always loved the moon. or what about the moon being in my angular 10th house && it's the highest body in my chart? Or the pisces neptune on the 7th house? angular houses confuses me when it comes to determining dominants. for now i just go with merc as the chart ruler and neptune uranus as the dominant planets. You don't seem solar to me. I consider a planet angular when it's conjunct an angle - if it's in an cardinal house, it comes across with the strength as any other house lmfao! Whereas it can be in a mutable house and conjunct an angle from that end and still be stronger.IP: Logged |

How do I figure out which planet is the most afflicted in a chart? I have 6 planets (incl Sun) in 11H Cancer and a Moon in 5H so would this make it the Moon or Uranus?? But then I have Mercury among those 6 planets and Mercury is my chart ruler. Also have Juno and Mars conj asc (Mercury).
I also have a Leo (Sun) Saturn in 11H.IP: Logged |

True I never felt Solarian even with that sun in the first house...i cant stand the daytime lol, i was born when it was still dark, and i love the night time im an introvert! IP: Logged |

It sounds like you have a Cancer Stellum?..so maybe Moon? If you look at astrotheme's chart and click all the drop boxes it tells you all the aspects. I think trines and sextiles which are harmonious are the strongest. IP: Logged |

Unlike me lmfao! I'm totally solar. I love daytime and sunshine all the Leo goodness of going out and about with a parade of friends.
And to charlie; an afflicted planet would have lots squares and opposites, I imagine...maybe throw in a detriment/fall and you're good to go!IP: Logged |

Venus (7th House ruler in 7th House) and Pluto (1st House ruler in 1st House) rule my chart hand in hand, if it wasn't for the moon in my 7th House, Venus would have been unaspected but it still dominates because of the strong placementIP: Logged |

I seem emphasis on 1st-10th houses including a stressful aspect between sun and moon. Sun is in Virgo, Moon Gemini and rules the 11th house Cancer in your chart. Could be many petty conflicts over communications with members of both genders when you try to befriend coworkers (11th house Moon ruler.) You could get too emotionally involved.IP: Logged |
