In the instance that they are commitment-phobes, unlike the textbook descriptions, what could make them become like that? And how to deal with such an individual?

Aspects to the moon because this moon sign is supposed to be a steady one that yearns for security and I would assume it means emotionally from a partner. It isn't always the case. I have the same configuration and it hasn't produced anything like this but I have an opposition to the moon. Are there any oppositions or conjunctions to the native's Taurus moon?

Its suppose to be the most steady and romantic moon sign, maybe aspects with uranus would cause that. Maybe they're more cautious with those they feel might be flaky so as a defensive mechanism they act that way.

His time of birth is unknown to me yet, but I suspect a late hour and Leo Asc for him, and Moon would be conjunct Chiron and maybe widely opposite Uranus, as well as trine Venus.

If he was born earlier in the day, Moon would be opposite Sun, otherwise not making much aspects.

Unaspected and kind of void of course a little. Void of course can make the energy difficult to utilize.

The interesting thing about his Moon is that it is the handle of a bucket type of chart.. So whatever aspects it makes, even if the energy might be repressed somewhat, I suspect it is highly important and I haven't even scratched the surface about him.

I don't think taureans are quick to commit.. I have taurus friend who is usually single she only looks for serious guys, like marriage material. Maybe for some reason he feels like its not going to last for whatever reason.
Maybe you tell how you feel, they are very straight forward and usually like that. If he's still fickle then consider giving up on this guy, because its hard to change their mind.

Taurus is a sexual, sensual sign. If they find you sexually attractive - they will want to be with you.
If they think you are more attractive than the average girl they can normally get - then they will then make it long-term.

Mental connection - means not much.
Emotional connection - means not all that much either.
The most important thing is being traditional - cooking, cleaning, taking care of him and being good looking.
They often feel most comfortable with Cancer-influenced women who are by their nature traditional & motherly.

The Taurus Moon men I have met so far struck me as having a chauvinistic streak. They seem very traditional and closed-minded in their perspective of what a woman should be like.

Aries is a very masculine sign... and this challenges their ideas about the way a woman should be.
This could be why he is not eager to commit with you - Hera.

My step dad's first wife was an Aries. They were together for 20 yrs. They hated each other after about 5... and still hate each other to this day. He is a Cancer/Taurus Moon.

:edit: How could I forget?
The other thing Taurus Moon men can't deal with is 'high maintenance' women - and since sloth is unfortunately one of the Taurean downfalls... what 'high maintenance' means for the average person - and what it means for the Taurus-influenced man... is not always the same thing.

They have less energy than the average person.
So the EASIEST you are to *get* and *keep* - the better.
The more you are a challenge - or difficult in ANY way... he will just ignore and avoid you.
Taurus is the astrological couch-potato... So a Taurus Mooner - can be an emotional couch-potato.

That's just the thing, he isn't almost anything like that, from what I have seen so far. The only Taureean attribute I can see in him is regarding food. Relationship wise and regarding the women he fancies, nothing like that..

@odette, wow.. who ****** you off? lol none of that is true for me except the, part about not wasting time on women who play hard to get. honestly looks dont matter much to me, now im not saying they dont matter at all, i just want a girl who im somewhat attracted to. i like pretty girls as much as the next guy but they are too stuck up for my tastes, i would rather have a girl with a good personality.

they seem more taurean than the sun in taurii.

p.s. i am marrying an aries sun that doesn't cook and is high maintenance. the advantage of taurus aries is u can bounce ideas of each other (mostly coming from the aries) and can make it happen (mostly from the taurus)

plus earth signs, well taurus, always dote on some fire sign because of their flamboyance IMO.

Dudes, he's not a Taurus He's a Scorp *sighs*

But without a birthtime and with a bucket chart, Moon seems to be the most important planet in his chart - yet he's nothing like a Taurus Moon. More and more I am tempted to make him a Leo Asc. Because a) he is proud, b) Moon would be conj Chiron and opp Uranus which I believe fits him, c) he looks a bit like Robert Downey Jr (esp with glasses yummm) who's also a Taurus Mooner and Leo riser, tho an Aries Sun.

Got me curious that's all.

Yeah, he doesn't like me playing hard to get either.. But indeed I think looks don't matter all that much to him as well (Venus sextile Uranus) in the sense that he'd probably screw whatever he can get (Sag Mars) which is why MY Taurus Venus and Cap rising play hard to get.

Perhaps he senses you want him for his body, being a Scorpio, so he's testing you.
