I believe intercepted means, in the above case, that Virgo is swallowed up in the 7th house. Thus 7th house is Leo, and the 8th starts at Libra instead of Virgo which comes after Leo, because Virgo is intercepted.

Haha, no I'm not!

So interception is probably a pretty common thing in astrology then, yeah?

Vedic astrology shows I have moon in Gemini. Sun, mercury, venus and saturn in cancer - 7th house.

Astrodienst shows I have Moon in cancer. Sun, mercury, venus and saturn in Leo - 7th house.

My ascendant on both is Capricorn.

Irrespective of these placements I am attracted to saturnine types.

Thanks, Jessica.

Ah, indeed you have Sun/Saturn/Venus/Mercury in the 7th. But 7th house ruler in Cancer in the 6th with a trine from Uranus.

What are the placements/dominants of your longest lasting relationship? Or most serious pursuer?

libra asc-aries dsc. i've lots of aries in me - a male version of me would be cool, not sure it would be entirely sensible though my taurus ex did have a lot of aries influence, and i have had previous long term relationships with libra, leo, pisces, and now sag (who has a LOT of progressed cap, thankfully) all of which have some significant aries influence, i believe. but it definitely has to have fire, i know that much. guess it's what feels most familiar.

ASC Cap DSC Cancer

I usually prefer older men or just matured-minded partners and I like them clingy and highly affectionate!!!

My boyfriend is an ASC Libra DSC Aries he likes a submissive partner that is feminine but shy and not showing of herself..but very intelligent and hyperactive lol

Taurus ASC/Scorpio DCS.

My 1H is empty (save for BMLilith and the South Node), but my 7H is pretty packed.

Jupiter, Mercury, and Pluto all within about 1 orb of each other in Scorpio. Vesta's in the pile-up, too. And my North Node is also in Scorpio. My (Sagittarius) Sun is on the 7/8H cusp. And my Venus is almost on top of the DSC.

What I get from that?

They've got to be very smart and a very charming speaker with a deft sense of humor who can give me a run for my money in the wordplay department. (Mercury)
Probably fairly well-to-do in their finances, but generous in all things. (Jupiter)
Confident and comfortable with themself. Possibly ambitious and/or successful. (Sun)
Good-looking and probably a good dresser. (Venus)
And INTENSE. REALLY, REALLY INTENSE. (Pluto + all that Scorpio energy)

I think my standards might be a little high, don'tcha think?

Actually found out my DSC is Cancer and not Leo as I thought. My ASC is Capricorn.
I have attracted Cancers and my best friend (male) is one but I do find I almost always hurt them or sting them. (Must be the scorpio coming out.) I like the intuitive, empathetic side to them I dislike the moodiness. (Too similar to my Scorpio moon/venus. And I think I get mean.) So I like Leo more I think. Not sure, not sure.

taurus asc/scorpio dsc

good sense of humor
philosophical/analytical but also artistic
financially stable
adventurous
good-looking
wants to merge, profound character, depth
mystical...
will go all the way in a relationship
loyal...

however, i dont find taurus attractive and, i usually butt heads with too much scorpio, i find them too possessive and domineering
but, i also have taurus and scorpio, so, i think im full of internal conflicts and contradictions.

Scorpio ASC/Taurus DSC.

Taurus is definitely not what I look for in a partner. I tend to be more interested in intellectual types who I can share ideas about life with. I care more about intelligence and deep conversations than the typical Venusian desires.

I tend to pick Aquarius suns as partners. My IC falls on Aquarius, too.

I'm a Pisces ASC and a Virgo DSC. My Virgo DSC matches my partner perfectly. She's a Leo Sun and Mars, but a five planet Virgo Stellium: Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus, plus a bunch of key asteroids. We've been married 19 years. My mother was a Virgo with three more Virgo planets.

Once again, my wife is a Cancer ASC and a Capricorn DSC. I'm a Capricorn Sun, Mars and Mercury.

It's uncanny. The match is spot on.

Ummm, longest relationship??? I sincerely have no clue..relationships are kinda painful to me. Does this placement explain it?

And what do you think of this guy chart?

I'm a Leo ASC-Aquarius DSC, Sun in Pisces in the 9H.

I also agree that not only the DSC, but also it's ruler and the aspects made to it in synastry make a difference whether you're attracted or not.

My DSC ruler, Uranus, is in Sagittarius.
My fiance is Aquarius Sun/Sag Rising. My DSC ruler incarnate lol His Sun, Venus, Merc and Jupiter all fall in my 7H. My Uranus sextiles his chart ruler, Jupiter.

He's a Sagittarius ASC/Gemini DSC, Aquarius Sun in the 2H

His DSC ruler, Mercury, is conjunct my DSC, sextile my Venus and Saturn, square my Pluto and trine my Chiron. My Chiron falls in his 7H conjunct his DSC.

I feel like we compliment each other wonderfully. We trust each other easily (something unusual for him) and openly.

He's like a breath of fresh air for me, but sometimes can be a little..pushy. Which I don't always like, but I DO need occasionally. I love his quirkiness and his heart. Genuine and honest, if a bit blunt sometimes, I don't think he ever really intends to hurt feelings, just to make sure his point is taken correctly. He's strong willed and can take the lead if I don't want to, be comfortable with me at his side, or stand aside and let me take the reigns. Whichever suits us both at the moment and I love this about him. I need somebody who is my equal in all things, can step up and be my rock if the situation calls for it, and come to me if he needs a shoulder to cry on. I feel like he does all this beautifully.

I've taught him to open up and trust somebody other than himself. That not everybody is determined to spoil life with lies and hurtful actions. And to lighten up. I'm very optimistic and full of joi de vive and I've noticed this slowly turning him from his originally pessimistic views on general things in life. I guess you could say I help him see the silver lining

^ Aww! Good luck in your marriage, LionFish.

I have Leo ASC/Aquarius DSC.

My husband is a Leo with whose sun is exactly conjunct Uranus.

Sometimes this relationship is very fun and cozy, sometimes really, really difficult.

What's a girl to do when she likes Uranians?

Plus I have a moon, Mars, Venus t-square and it's not like I bring total predictability to the table.

thank you Faith

As a Uranian lover myself I've learned to just take it for what it is at that moment because you know just as quickly as it got difficult, it can be beautiful and cozy again.. He's teaching me to analyze everything less. I can only imagine a Uranian Leo
