Anyone else with this in synastry and/or composite feel this way after breaking up, that you can't get peace away from an ex who keeps haunting you, or you yourself cannot let it go?

Sometimes, it can very well be YOU who won't be doing the leaving alone, just letting things ride. Constantly thinking of how things used to be, dreaming of the past, then just not being able to stop yourself from reaching back out, etc. Then, it's often the other person. And after YOU have learned to let go, which is the hardest part of all.

After you stop caring, the other person - Moon or Pluto, BUT in my studies + personal experience going on right now most often the Moon - will suddenly feel 'rootless' and out of the blue, try to make things as they used to be, in a messed up way, or a way of their own, or maybe just want you back.

I have an ex who I have Moon-Pluto with in composite, and in synastry Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio exact where I was Pluto and he the Moon, who just can't let me go after I have let him go. It's like the tables turned - I always used to be so into him, and now that I can't care less he first begged to get back together for 'friends with benefits' because he 'liked me too much' and then after a month of silence from the humiliation of my rejection, randomly starts texting me again all these 'nice' messages... What the heck? Just GO AWAY!

Anyway... anyone else with Moon-Pluto experiences feel like this about an ex?

i have moon opposition pluto natally and i have had it in synastry and i have a hard time letting things go. i have urges to contact one ex in particular and its been 3 years but i dont do it because i know she prolly doesnt wanna hear from me, but i still care about her all the same. i usually will make one attempt to reconnect with someone and if they dont respond i leave them alone.

When it's come to the synastry, have you been the Moon person or Pluto person?

both.

All right, and what was it like when you were the Moon person versus the Pluto person?

When I asked whether you were the Moon person versus Pluto person in synastry, I meant with that ex.

Yeah, happened to me.

We both have Moon sq Pluto natally and we had the DW in synastry, although one was at a very wide orb (my Moon squared his Pluto but 7°.. too wide). Anyway we had Moon square Pluto in composite and Saturn opposed the Moon and squared Pluto. All pretty tight orbs (2°). Fun times! We weren't in a relationship but there was a crazy attraction/repulsion dynamic and a lot of mindgames. First he was into me and I was "cold" and then eventually he turned ice cold and I was the one running after him. I was literally stupid. He had rejected me like 3 times but I kept coming back cause I couldn't get over the fact that *he* stopped caring, because *he* was attracted to me in the first place. He was very, and I mean *very* harsh, almost abusive towards me when I tried to reconnect. He would give me the silent treatment or imply that I had mental issues, etc.

It was sooo hard to let go, honestly the hardest thing ever. We had crazy Saturn contacts both ways in synastry and it was extremely compelling (plus the T-square in composite). I still think about him sometimes, not in a romantic way, but just as someone who I used to have crazy feelings for. It's like a connection that never really fades, even if it's physically long dead. Apparently Saturn contacts do that to ya. The "glue" can be on a mental plane.

Anyway, point is: yes, I've experienced something similar.

Except that I was the one coming back long after things were over.

I don't think I'll ever experience something like that again and guess what, all the better! Some people can drive you crazy, literally. Better stay away from toxic connections and keep your sanity!

I love these threads, they're so funny to me because it's always just an exercise in people trying to brag in a roundabout way about how unforgettable they are.

Most times I get mixed up with someone there's usually some kind of Moon-Pluto activity. Honestly? I like it and prefer it because that at least means there's an emotional tie there, and I like the intensity of it. In fact, if there isn't that element there, either on their part or mine, or both, then I'm usually not interested. Why get mixed up with someone who doesn't provoke intense emotional reactions in you, or that you wouldn't have an intense bond with?

I think people who don't have the moon in aspect to Pluto natally will have a harder time with it and find it more scary because the energy is foreign to them in the first place. I have Moon conjunct Pluto natally, and most of the guys I've been heavily interested in and/or mixed up with, typically have a Moon-Pluto aspect themselves, or are heavily Plutonian in some way, and there's usually a lot of mutual space-invading and boundary-crossing involved.

There's moments here and there where it's annoying. But I 'get' it, because I do it to them too, and I recognize that really I can't apply outside standards to them... because these aren't insignificant, passing bonds, so it's not like being creeped out by a stranger on the street or someone you went out with once and felt nothing for. In a way I sort of accept that we kind of react to and respond to one another that way because there's karmic/soul ties there - I'm one of those people who tends to wind up tripping over soul mates all the time in this current incarnation for whatever reasons. We're a part of each other, so I'm like, "I'll sniff around you sometimes, and if you wanna climb in my skin with me once in a while too, that's okay."
