It was seemingly a big deal at the time, but I wasn't alive when he was the world champion of chess.

The greatest player of all time is actually M. Sultan Khan. Fisher is second and Carlsen + Kasparov tied in the third. Sultan Khan had no formal training, was practically illiterate and yet defeated Grand Masters, without ever reading a chess book.

Fisher thumped a great like Spassky, without having modern computers to assist him. His Inner Demons were not demons but frustrations at the mental illness of a hypocritical society. Being a Genius, he could see through the hypocrisy. Just like Philip K Dick. Society is programmed to call these geniuses as insane.

Magnus Carlsen has the highest memory levels, hence his increased efficacy. He knew the names of all countries and their capitals before age 6.
His Chart would explain memory oriented genius.

My favorite is Tal. A normal human being with so many frailties but a nuclear warhead on the chess board.

Here is Bobby Fischer, intelligence quotient above 187. His country, instead of taking pride in his achievements of beating Soviets, wants to impose sanctions on him for playing in Yugoslavia. So he RANTS against American Jews and he is labeled Insane, Psychotic etc etc. Millions of Arabs do that 24/7, for them every global errors is some Zionist Conspiracy. Note, he did not kill a single Jew, perhaps he did not even slap a Jew in his life nor even cuss at a Jew in person, unless it was to the mirror.

The same "Thought Controllers" who need Fischer to be labeled as Insane have no issue with Prescott Bush making money through Nazi contacts, no trouble with IBM making machines that may have helped in auditing/database management for genocide, no issues in dealing with all those who stole Jewish Gold, no trouble in bringing Nazi killer Scientists to USA under Operation PaperClip.

So different rules for actual killers and profiteers from the butchering of Jews, yet enormous antipathy towards the verbal rants and prods of a tortured Genius who is 100% Jewish himself. Inmates running the Asylum and pointing fingers at a brilliant Spectator.

Howard Hughes is insane, because he dared the US Government. PanAm's onwers are Sane and pious. Wilhelm Reich is insane and his notes can be burnt but the inventors of Thalidomide and Thimerosal are sane and pious.

Saudi Kings are friends, Saddam was a friend, Taliban is sometimes a friend and sometimes not, Iran is always a foe. Any objective ET would term the entire US Military Establishment as Mentally Ill.

Conditioned Society loves to hate a genius without money, for it can make them feel good about themselves. They too do not have much money but hate the Genius for having excessive brains.
