I think that the Chiron wound can never be healed, as says the myth. However, one can heal others, from the the wound, as says the myth. Some people think the wound can heal, but that is not my point in this thread.

Is the house of Chiron your biggest wound?

For me, I have it in the 4th house. My mothers exact combust of the Sun and mercury in Aqua conjuncts it, exact.

The wound of my mother feels like it will never heal. i don't think it will, which brings me to the topic of the Chiron wound, by house.

Again, I don't want to fight about if it can heal or not, I would like to hear about your Chiron and it's house and your experience with it.

Thanks!

I have Chiron in the 8H Taurus and I have very deep sexual and mental wounds I haven't got the faintest idea how to solve or heal! They run so deep that they are borderline not in my conscious mind. They swish by on days when I am deep in thought and I'd be lying if I said they didn't disturb me.

However, I am a fantastic "healer" for my friends and also animals. I FEEL their pains and struggles as if they were my own. I have gone thru 30 years trying to make my surroundings "whole" by helping people, wanted or not, see the right way, but it hasn't been until this past year where it's taken a great toll on me to carry all that extra burden on my shoulders so I am now on a quest to make peace with myself.

I wouldn't say that I am psychic, not by a long shot but my Pluto is HEAVILY afflicted and is Neptune,
all my water placements are also in the 2nd Decan of Cancer and this has given me some type of gift so that I can read people in patterns.

As a sidenote; I have no idea where Taurus comes into play but I am a great candidate for the myth of Chiron; the healer that will never heal!

I have it in virgo near the end of the 10th house but I can relate to 11th house description rather than 10th.I have always had problems in friendships,at the end of the day they all leave me.I think I seek perfection in friendships, probably because its in virgo which creates the problem.I want them to last forever but sadly they never do.

Wonderful post! Thank you
My last client had the 8th house Chiron and hers seemed similar to what you are describing.

I've never really known much (or cared about) about Chiron but when I stumbled upon this thread it caught my interest.

I have Chiron in the 5th House (Virgo). From what I've read it signifies the inability to let loose and have fun and a tendency to take life too seriously from an early age. It blew my mind because this is a serious problem with me.

No matter how hard I try to have fun something always happens and I've developed a fear from even attempting to let loose just on the off chance that something bad might happen.

As for self-expression, I have inhibitions there too. When I was little I was made fun of in school and I can never bring myself to express my opinions or desires in a work environment (which for me is still school) out of fear of rejection and disapproval.

I have never really figured Chiron out until now that I wrote this post!! I have had friends telling me that I have to "let people go" and that I cannot fix them and this very thing has been a HUGE red thread in my life! Others have always come first and I have gone above and way beyond myself to help and completely neglecting my emotional needs. I feel so relieved actually now that I am not in the fog anymore!

Chiron in Gemini: The nervous system, communication skills and ability to tap race consciousness are all keywords of Chiron in Gemini. There can be early injuries to the voice, or painful shyness that comes from an early problem with self-expression. You may find that the native with Chiron in Gemini takes their time with thoughts and words, because they want to be certain that they express themselves correctly . Later in life, they may express themselves with painful precision to over-compensate.

Chiron in the Eleventh House: These folks may seem utterly other-worldly. They may be drawn to technology in order to feel comfortable, safe and accepted. They may avoid social interaction and feel uncomfortable in large groups of people, mainly because of peer problems in their youth, or because they seem odd or different to their peers . Social rejection makes them withdraw into only those groups of people who share their interests and concerns, and they currently find great comfort in the opportunities provided by the Internet.

The bold ones are very true in my case. -_-

Ami, I just came across this article, that points to what we need in relationships, based upon our Chiron house placement.

Chiron in the houses and in aspect to Venus
http://sasstrology.com/2008/09/chiron-in-houses-and-in-aspect-to-venus.html

Here is what is said about 4th house Chiron:

"Fourth House: In this situation, we have a great deal of sensitivity to the conditions surrounding our home, family and background. We might also have some hidden calamity from childhood to contend with, so this requires careful handling in the context of our relationship. There is a great measure of trust needed here, because the Fourth House rules our most private self, and therefore those things about us and our lives that we are least inclined to share with anybody. Any partner who abuses that trust will quickly destabilize the entire relationship. More than anything, this placement speaks to a need for trust within the partnership."

Wow--I also have Chiron in 4th, and this really nails it for me. ...Of course, with Cancer Moon, it magnifies the Cancer trust thing...

I've read somewhere: "Don’t accept what is happening – analyze how this is making you feel and use this to transmute your Chironic wound issue."

I have transiting Pisces Chiron conjunct Neptune in the 8th house.

Don't ask me how I am right now, coz I'm still figuring out what's going on with me. lol

House 11. I had difficulties with friends and peers growing up, as a teenager (because as a child i had many friends and everything was ok). It's ok now, as well. I love my friends, i don't struggle with them. I guess Jupiter and Moon in my 11th may balance Chiron's effects

Chiron was retro in Taurus (9th House) for me. I am not sure what to make of that.

The best (most like me) interpretation I found was this - "Chiron in Taurus reflects a wound of neglect. At some point in life, they felt that they didn't get enough of something, whether it was material things, or emotional, mental or spiritual attention. They feel unfulfilled and undernourished in some way. It all boils down to their sense of worth. Many people shop to fill these kinds of voids… to heal they need to look beyond this quick fix to their inner need. They shouldn't deny themselves the simple pleasures of life… they need to learn to value themselves and treat themselves the way they want others to treat them. Love is all around. They were born to love and be loved. If they learn to value themselves, others will value them also. They should take time for introspection."
http://www.alwaysastrology.com/chiron-signs.html#taurus

But I don't yet understand the significance of it being retrograde when I was born. Or the 9th house significance. :/

As for me, well my voice is quite weak. It gets tired and hoarse easily when I talk for long periods of time I noticed, that's why I don't shout or talk loudly than normal (for me my voice is normally loud enough to hear when I'm talking). But still, I frequently get a response like, "Huh? What did you say?" "I can't hear you." -_-

A lot of times, astrologers in the past would describe things in the most negative, damning manner. Have you read the interpretations they had of most fixed stars?

Is everybody with a planet on Algol, walking around with their head missing?

That's why the rule of thumb is that you shouldn't take astrologers TOO too literally. I think Chiron may represent a sore spot, or something that will be an issue for a person, but I don't think that necessarily means that it will be a permanent one that 'never heals' and/or a source of great agony and torment.

Mine is in the third house. My mental faculties are fine. I'm actually pretty bright, and I'm quite sane. Where Chiron does manifest as a sore spot, is where my siblings are concerned; they tend to scapegoat and exclude me, aren't always the nicest people to me, things like that. Siblings fall under the domain of the third house.

Another way Chiron in the third manifests for me is in the form of issues with communication. I have social phobia and had selective mutism as a teenager, and developed a stuttering problem as an adult.

Are any of these things fun, and do they make life easier or pleasant? No, and sure, I'd prefer to not have those issues. But I cope, and they're all things I believe I can beat (or learn to accept/make peace with), with time. So no, I'm not contemplating throwing myself from a high height anytime soon.

In short, I don't think chiron causes anything that you can't get past with determination, and I don't think that wherever Chiron is placed, means you're doomed to eternal misery in that area of life.

11H Cancer. Once I had a "friend", I think I've never been closer to anyone else. She turned out to be a disgusting manipulator and lier and hanging out with her messed up my life. I assume all of this contributed to my emotional unavailability.

For me, yes... in many ways.

Chiron is where we need to learn to sacrifice for others, where we can be a benefit to our world, where we must bear our own cross.

That's my belief...

I have Chiron in h9 4° conjunct my Moon, therefore also 4° trine my Sun - a mildly wide but still potentially felt 5° cnj to my MC - therefore opposite IC, It is one of the only negative aspects to my stellium members - all quincunx Mr.Wounded Healer... On top of that he is Quinile Nessus, Thereus, Diotima 0° (Leo 12h)

... what that says to me...

I have to learn from travel, much like Chiron did himself, and be willing to sacrifice myself to aid those in need of the knowledge I can help them find in the area of those 9h things... spirituality, exploration, the pursuit of higher knowledge... this is the lesson I have to share with others. It also makes those aspects to my Sun/Moon trine ~ what I think it says there is the hurt left from my parents, my relations to men and women in general... this is part of the pain I need to live with... and learn to accept, forgive, and grow from. I also like to consider the other aspects herein, that the Moon is ruler of Cancer, and Cancer rules my 11th house... I will be hurt by friends, and I will cherish them and want to help them, sometimes the wrong ones, sometimes we will share pains with each other, and ultimately these lessons will help in the growth and healing process. And, my Sun, being 5h house, but Leo in 12h, this aspect is unsettling to discuss... but, I personally have my demons in these areas, I cannot be specific. Sorry. Then, I'd like to consider the effect he has over my stellium... learning to adjust with that constant pain, or doubt as I feel it manifests, on my Jupiter-Neptune-Mercury alliance.... it's truly about learning, and accepting, forgiving others for their wrongs, and forgiving ourselves, accepting those things we cannot change. Right? I think so.
When I look at the Q he makes to Nessus-Thereus (and Diotime, who is a symbol of platonic love and friendship with great respect between sexes)... it shows me that concerns of this nature will always be imperitive in my learning process, in regards to those 9h and Chironic issues. I think the role Chiron plays in the tales of the Centaurs makes him the stronger influence, an influence of good over evil... so in some small way, with Diotima... he's offered this blessing, of maybe knowing-forgiving others in order to find spiritual harmony. This aspect shows a balance, instead of something dark, in my eyes.

But, yes.... I hurt in many, many, many ways true to where he is in my chart... in fact, it's quite literal on my part. I only ever get ill or injured when I am away from home... such as it should be with him opposite of my 4h cusp, my busiest most crowded house, strongest sign is Sagittarius... it is where my South Node lies... so in order to heal, and find respite, I need to return home once and again, or else suffer... this time we've fallen into having two diseases, of course I can't deny the science behind it... the genetics~ but, surely it is an outstanding coincidence... no? Now we suffer, and there is no cure. Just that lesson again..... To learn, to accept, to forgive... and to possess humility.

I have Chiron in Gemini in the 8th house.

Chiron in Gemini: The nervous system, communication skills and ability to tap race consciousness are all keywords of Chiron in Gemini. There can be early injuries to the voice, or painful shyness that comes from an early problem with self-expression. You may find that the native with Chiron in Gemini takes their time with thoughts and words, because they want to be certain that they express themselves correctly. Later in life, they may express themselves with painful precision to over-compensate.

I do NOT identify with this AT ALL. I have never been shy..I never think carefully about what I say..I have no problem with self-expression and never have.

I also do NOT relate to painful 8th house issues.

So, in other words, I do not feel Chiron's effect..AT ALL!

Painful issues for me are self-worth, self-esteem, and body image issues. Also, issues with my family, especially my mother and sister. So..I do not see how Chiron in Gemini in the 8th house indicates any of that.

However, Chiron is opposite my Moon, Saturn, and Uranus.. and square my Mars and Jupiter.
