I'm curious about how this combo does the whole courtship phase of a relationship. Right now, there's a Sag guy who likes me with these placements, but he has been taking quite a while in actually making a move or asking me out on a proper date. I suppose I thought his Scorpio Mars would be more forthcoming.Anyways, what have been your experiences? Does it typically take a while for them to move things forward? They are quite reserved and intense. Uncomfortable with showering affection and aren't really verbal about their feelings. They are more slow moving and are the 'actions speak louder' type. Venus in Capricorn are quite ... stiff, they aren't flamboyant or expressive like Venus in Leos or Aries, nor terribly romantic like Venus in Libra, or super cuddly like Venus in Taurus, they're more the consistent dependable kind that is slow to warm up.What's the guy's moon sign? Personally - I've never met a Scorpio Mars man who did not make his attraction obvious and clear. They don't play games or drag things on. They are very honest - This is just my experience.
I did know a Sag with Aries Moon & Cap Venus/Sco Mars (conj Pluto). He was very forward and honest - but overall more lighthearted than the fixed-sign people I've met - with Sco Mars. Because this has been my experience so far ^^ If I met a Scorpio Mars guy who seemed disinterested or reluctant to make a move - I would assume that he wasn't that into me.

This is true - but I do know a Leo with a Virgo Venus and Scorpio Mars - Virgo Venus is also known for its shyness and inability to be emotionally expressive... But due to the Scorpio Mars he is still very forward sexually.
If he is attracted he makes it very obvious.
imo Men who hide attraction - are insecure... They usually have a weak Mars placement, not a strong one. :edit: Actually - check the aspects to his Mars!! Sometimes even a strong Mars like Capricorn, Aries and Scorpio, can be problematic - if afflicted by a harsh aspect to Saturn or one of the outer planets. IP: Logged |

^^Yeah, those were my thoughts too, Odette. Even though he has his Venus in Cap, I figured his Mars would show how he pursues, hence my confusion. He stares at me a lot, texts every day, and always prolongs any physical contact, but it's the actual revealing his intentions that I'm waiting for. Also, I think his last relationship ended badly, so maybe he's being more cautious now. Ugh, boysss lolIP: Logged |

If he has moon in Scorpio he might have a loose moon conjunct mars which could be the reason why he has anger issues.  I actually know a couple of people with the same placements and they're pretty shy with people they like. IP: Logged |

I get what's happening.
I have feminine (earth) Venus&Mars placements in Taurus and Cappy. We can be QUIET people.
So we make our intentions clear through body language and just being there.
The fact that he asks you out and wants to be around you etc - this is all really GOOD.. It definitely means that he likes you.
Scorpio Mars people don't waste their energy unless they feel strongly for the other person... so from his perspective this is his way of pursuing you.
They can be 'slower' than an Aries Venus would like - but this is just the way they are... so don't take it personally.. just go with it - It'll happen!!

I agree this is a good sign. I'm not a guy, but I do have these placements and my friends say it's difficult to tell who I am attracted to. I used to be incredibly shy, but I've opened up these past few years so I like being friendly and making people feel welcome. But I definitely treat guys I like differently from everyone else.If we are in contact on a relatively regular basis (casual acquaintance, co-worker, etc.), then I make the effort to be where he's at or invite him to neutral situations such as mutual friend gatherings or study sessions. This is my boyfriend's combo. I wouldn't expect to hear I love you anytime soon. Definitely show you with their actions. Capricorns are more tight-fisted than Sagittarians (the sun signs are different of your guy than mine). When a Cappy starts spending money on you you know he's invested. The Sagittarius will spend money to try and win you over. If I were you, I would be *** for tat. For every move he makes that shows interest, reciprocate/make a move yourself.IP: Logged |

I second this. A Venus Cap/Mars in Scorpio liked me for a little bit, and I found out and started actually noticing his "signals" ....7 MONTHS later. Sure, sure, scoff at the time all you want but I was way too shy to ever think he would notice me. All the girls tended to fawn over him at work because he was the only manly man there, so I was so not wanting to be apart of that. One, they get clumsy when they're trying to be smooth - which is cute. After I started paying attention and observing him, I noticed he'd check me out and notice me looking just a moment too late. He was probably letting me notice, I don't know. You just had to be there in person to see what I'm talking about. Two, if you don't know him that well they will observe you. Most Capricorn/Scorpio or vice versa people do. They're watchers. Night stalkers, what have you. Three, this could've been his Aquarius sun but he was always trying to come off super badass and macho and unapproachable even though he was like a puppy left out in the rain underneath that. These are actually soft-hearted, warm individuals. However, it takes time to see that and it takes a special person to get that treatment consistently. Once you're friendly to them they'll be friendly to you but no more, no less. Four, Venus in Capricorn and Mars in Scorpio (PLUS his Sag sun for your guy) go after what they want when they know what it is. If they're unsure at all it will take them longer, but if your values line up and you're somewhat proper they seem to like that more (probably because The Goat loves playing "Daddy," ....) That might not be all Venus Capricorns though but just saying in my experience. ETA: I somewhat feel this combination works a bit backwards. Like, if they like you they won't tell you and you won't really know it (assuming you're in the beginning stages of flirting, sensing each other out) but if they don't like you, then you think they do like you (i mean romantically) IP: Logged |

I think I know what you're talking about. Like, out of the corner of my eye, I've seen him check me out before. And, it's very obvious to everyone else in the room, but I turn around, and he's playing it cool. I definitely get the clumsiness though. He's typical Sag with other people, laughing and cracking jokes, but once he's around me, he gets so nervous, jumbles his words, and tries to keep his distance a bit. It is very endearing. I'd also be lying if I said that I don't find the Scorpio Mars intriguing lol. quote:

This I have noticed too... One time I was driving past his work, which I thought nothing of, but then I got a text from him that he had seen me and that I was playing with my hair. I didn't know whether to be creeped out or flattered, but I did take it as a sign he was interested.
