I love lobster! Omfgggg and crab. But how do you feel about that one "delicacy" in lobster, where like, a piece of its crap was caught in/cooked into the meat? And it turns into a green spot. Apparently it's a delicacy. It grosses me out! I'd be so frickin done with my meal if I came across that.

LOL.. well.. i like to eat the crab poop, if its cooked inside the crab.. or maybe that wasn't poop..lmao... but i recently learned something about the history of lobster, that i still have a hard time accepting

quote:
:
Along the northeastern coast of the U.S., the lobster was once so common in the 17th and 18th centuries that it was considered a "junk" food. When caught in great quantities or stranded on shore after severe storms, lobsters served as garden fertilizer and as a food staple given to widows, orphans, servants, and prisoners. It was so commonly used as a food for servants and prisoners that Massachusetts passed a law forbidding its use more than twice a week - - a daily lobster dinner was considered cruel and unusual punishment! The American revolutionaries hurled the insult "lobsterback" at the red-coated British. It wasn't until the 19th century that lobsters regained their status as a luxury food item, mostly as a result of their popularity with royalty.

..i need a time machine , like NOW! lol.

I can eat seafood except for the little baby shrimp in cans because of that weird preservative they use while canning. I had this full fledged panic-like allergy attack after eating some once and it freaked me out so bad, I was about to call an ambulance but I was able to regurgitate it and get it out of my system. Sorry to be gross-out and everything but it just shows how allergic I am to some things.

I love oatmeal and all kinds of frozen or fresh sea food. I like to eat apples. I like frozen pizza. Can live on two dollar Tony's pizza from Wal Mart. I like the Great Value Doughnut Sticks and frozen Garlic Cheese Bread. Problem with me is I tend to get into food ruts where I eat the same thing for days and I can binge on junk food and candy big time which always makes me feel utterly bad afterwards.

I can get into weird stuff like Arugula as well even though I don't like it that much. It's something I feel compelled to eat that I don't like much.

Cannot stand the taste of grapefruit BLECK!!! It is the worst taste I have ever had the displeasure of experience.

I can go too overboard on the junk food, like stuffed breaded cream cheese peppers, sweet potato fries with chili sauce, and mozzarella cheese sticks. Oh, and Mac and Cheese with Tuna is a staple.

Right now I am trying to fast tho.

I can't eat things like beans and onions without really bad indigestion.

I am fanatical about rice. I like squashes too. Garlic seasoning. Butternut squash cooked with turkey so long as it stays nice and crisp. I like tomato sauce, bacon cheese fries and Teriyaki rice bowl from Jack in The Box. I am on a JITB kick right now.

So I love so many different foods but they don't like me. I am ultra ultra picky about texture.

I tend to binge on stuff like chocolate and booze and it's really bad for me. I like to binge big time, especially on sugary stuff and carbs.

wow, we actually have very similar likes. i'm fantical about rice too (jasmine is my fav). and i LOVE it when the rice gets crispy on the bottom of the pot, and pouring some beans, or bean gravy on top. that's usually the only way i can stand eating beans.

hate grapefruit too. ewww

garlic and onions, are a a must in everything i cook.

pizza, or fried chicken wings from the chinese take out spot, are my fav junk food.

mac and cheese is too good, and i try as much as i can not to think about it. (i also tend to binge, or want to binge badly on food i get hooked on)

pineapple, mexican and asian mango's, green apples and grapes(NO RED lol),and mamey sapote(insanely delicious as milkshake) are my fav fruits.

i try to avoid anything canned(the preservatives issue for me as well).

Love calamari as well, jabeneros?

I'll take mine roasted with a beer and enjoy the hiccups and sweating.

Draw the line at full fish deep fried, do not like my meal looking back at me

6H ruler in Jupiter Virgo
trine Uranus
trine NN

They say people with Jupiter in the 6th house tend to overindulge in eatting and drinking but oddly enough, I don't. I'm very picky of what I eat and I don't drink alcohol or soda. Virgo maybe?
I will say my that favorite food is Breakfast cuisine (french toast, pancakes, eggs, and bacon), and for dinner Sea food I don't need anything else lol

@11nahyt I just love that crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, too. In fact, at times rice has that absolutely perfect texture and it's heavenly and it is the best thing I ever tasted. Other times, it doesn't and it's just okay but still edible.

I also love pasta that stays in the fridge a while, and same goes for rice. Some things are so great after they sit in the fridge but other meals I can only eat fresh.

I cannot eat soggy bread, for example, so if I get a sandwich when I go out, can't leave left overs in the fridge at home unless there are no tomatoes or anything that will make the bread get soggy. I also don't like anything with bread crumb as fillers, like meat loaf. Took me a while to accept stuffing and guacamole. Would not eat either as a kid but can eat them now. If I think about stuffing too much I cannot eat. In fact, I have that problem with some foods. I think about them too much then I find it difficult putting them in my mouth and that is when the rut ends lol. I switch to something else and eat that for a few months.

Sagittarius 6th house with Mars and Uranus (in Cap) sitting there.

I love food, love trying new food, and really like ethnic food.

Not too big on sweets like candy or chocolate but I love pastries (unfortunately.) I try to eat healthy though. Right now I'm eating saltless almonds and drinking a smoothie composed of organic blueberries/strawberries/blackberries and a banana.

I can be picky at times and I like good quality stuff.

Interesting, I adore stuffed clams.

Is it the texture?

6th house ruler is Aquarius, and it's empty.

I've been a vegetarian since I was in 5th grade but I'll pretty much eat everything/anything other than meat. I especially seem to go for carbs. I could totally eat a plain loaf of bread in one sitting.

pasta is AWESOME. which is the main reason i love italian food. but i like my pasta with little, or no tomato sauce in it. any other sauce -especially cheesy-, i dig

cheese with fruits, is one of my fav healthy snacks combo, to eat constantly.

for those oatmeal lovers, exactly what do you like about oatmeal?! i'm really curious about this lol

6th house is virgo so mercury is the ruler. i have uranus con pluto both in virgo there. Then in libra is mercury con venus. Venus is also my chart ruler.

I don't like seafood with the exception of canned tuna and fried shrimp but I can't eat them because I get the sweats when I eat them. I'm not sure exactly what that means but I don't really want to find out.

I don't like cheese. I'll eat pizza but it has to have the cheap mozerella on it or I won't eat it. I won't eat mozerella on anything else though. I'll eat cream cheese in the form of cheese cake. I love cheese cake but not with lemon juice in it. I don't care for the tang it gives to it. It ruins it. I won't eat any other cheese and the sprinkle stuff, ugh, just the smell of it makes my stomach turn.

I won't eat organ meats of any kind or anything exotic. Just the basic steak, pork chops, chicken.

Black licorice-yuck.

I think that's it for what I don't like and won't eat.
