For those of you with natal planets conjunct your natal south node:

how do you relate to people whose planet(s) conjunct your north node?

Also, how do you relate to those who have planet(s) conjunct your south node/planet conjunction?

My nodes aren't an issue at all when relating to individuals. I think of them more as an issue when it comes to relating to the collective humanity since I have the South Node in conjunction with Pluto. The ideas and trends of the time I tend to oppose and be in the minority. I also don't like criticism and that is signified by South Node in Virgo. Guess I long to be a trend setter and one of a kind. Always.

My Moon is 9 degrees apart my South Node. I don't know if that counts or is too wide, BUT i identify with my SN sign, which is also my Moon sign. I don't particularly like my NN people - Aquarians, if they are near my NN. I mean - if they have planets further, it's ok! But not around my NN. Especially i don't like guys whose Venus is on my NN. They seem to like me soo much, but it's one sided. On the other hand, i like people who have their planets on my South Node. It's this initial familiarity that goes beyond understanding. Especially personal planets - Sun, Moon, Venus.

I have Moon conjunct SN (very tight) in Taurus and I find it easy to be close with women who have Sun in Taurus (and one friend who has Moon in Taurus conjunct my Moon). As far as relationships go, I have had several with men who were born around the same time as me and so my SN and Moon conjuncts their SN as well.

Except for my last relationship which lasted 3 years, those relationships have typically lasted 6 months each - it was like we had something to teach one another and then it was over. I did feel very close with them immediately, due to that conjunction, but I think it can be problematic if there is no NN connection. It's too easy to get stuck in a rut, especially since it's Taurus.

I love Scorpios and spent 10 years combined with two different men whose Scorpio Moons conjuncted my NN. But my favourite relationships have been with people born on November 1st (my best friend and two ex bfs) because it's a NN/Sun conjunction. I definitely prefer Scorpio Sun over Scorpio Moon when it comes to my NN, maybe because I already have all that Moon energy on my SN.

I honestly find both conjunctions easy and feel really comfortable with either one, but I find that the NN connections feel healthier and less repetitious and make me feel more alive.

S/N Axis 15° Sagittarius 4h (IC/MC Axis 3°) Gemini 10h
Venus cnj South Node exact / Venus cnj Uranus

Truthfully, I'd only recently begun to take note of North Node connections, and haven't come across many examples in my personal life to compare with, there are a few folks here that match to this point, I've noticed, though! ^^

The only intimate friend I have with her Mercury and Sun on my North Node is a very dear, childhood, best fried of mine, whom I've known for the past 15 years, give or take. If our relationship over the years is any indicator of how synastry plays out between me and those who make contact to my node (and my node to their planets), I can say only that in all our time as friends we've had the least arguments (between us in the group), have agreed on many decisions (nearly all), always worked well together (complimentary ideas taken from different stances/modus operandi can fuse so well)... Because, we were peers and best friends, and our interests were so similar it was our dream to go to the same university, study the same field of archaeology, work on the same historic sites~ --- so.... similarities were abundant in this particular case with her Sun and Merc fairly close cnj and cnj near exact my NN/opp my Venus.
(There's actually one other --- my Baba -grandmother- but she was born at home, 1920-30s in the boonies of Pennsylvania.... so there's no clear record for her birth to say how close her planets were if at all to my axis...) lol

Besides this one friend, I can't really say much at all. I haven't met/known I've met (astrologically at least) any Geminis... ^^;

I can say that after joining LL, and learning more about my Axis in Gemini, and having listened (er--- read of) to the local Geminis --- I think there's something to be learned from them... but, this is my take on things, and I'm still learning... I'm a Sagittarius dominan Capricorn, with an Air void (save for these nodes)... I'm curious, and I feel drawn into what they have to teach, as the sign, and the people, I mean... hopefully, that makes some sense. ^^;

Ah, this is much easier to answer...

I tend to love when contact is made to my SN/Venus by others -- often immediately, these people feel familiar, they feel like family.... but that should go without saying... My SN - 4h --- and the majority of my own planets and important midpoints are all in Sagittarius, and on top of all that - all outers being in common up until spring of 84(? after I was born at least!).... lol (Basically, if you have planets there... I feel "family reunion" haha)

In my experience, the best placement in synastry with a lover that I can have/have had is their Moon to my Venus/SN... I don't think I have ever related to or understood better, anyone... Also, though your question asked for planet to planet-node contact, this one person who had their moon on my SN/Venus conjunction also had their Vertex axis conjunct less than 2°, which I believe added even more of the familiarity, "have we met before" factor to our relations.

My current partner, my husband.... his Sun is a bit wide, but still conjunct my SN/Venus... although the draw for him is much different than for me here... since he's the Sun person...but, also because we're both Virgo Ascendants, with somewhat similar house layout.

Really well. I have Venus conj my SN, and Mars squaring the nodes, it's always magnetic attraction. Always assumed everyone else attracted people to their axis *justlikethat* but mine's natally energized, so maybe that's why it's so easy for me. It's pretty cool. Even attract those with Uranus and Jupiter on my NN fairly often even tho there's a big age difference, also their ASC there since my Venus/SN falls on their DSC, more attraction.
Howevah, Sun on my SN in synastry, never cool, ever. I find them so incredibly dull and really feel like they're holding me back. But Moon/Merc/Venus/Angle/Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus/Neptune on my SN is just fine. I bond quickly tho with those on my NN, since it's Cancer, so it jives well with my natal Moon/Venus conj which is comfort-obsessed, plus I have Jupiter in the 4th, just naturally generous with those I'm close/feel bonded to, we get close really quickly.

"I mean - if they have planets further, it's ok! But not around my NN. Especially i don't like guys whose Venus is on my NN. They seem to like me soo much, but it's one sided."

Yea I like the Cancer planets that trine my Sun too, esp since they make a Grand Trine for me with my Jup. And wow, you're right, Venus on my NN guys have been head over heels for me, that's one of the Venus-synastry-hot-points in my chart. But it's cool for me, usually their NN is making strong contacts to my chart too. The last Venus Cancer I was with on my NN, his NN was conj my ASC, plus my Moon/Venus was conj his ASC. We're still close friends.

It's really rare for me to not have a strong nodal contact with someone in synastry. If it's not there, I just feel like what's the point, I can usually tell when I'm meeting the person if there's strong nodal action.
But interesting, my Sun is conj my cousin's SN and she always tries to keep that bond strong, I think it's cool we mesh really well but also her ASC is conj my NN so that's where the bond is for me, plus her Moon/Venus conj is in my 7th so we have that in common too.

"but I think it can be problematic if there is no NN connection"
It's pretty rare for there to be no NN conj in my synastries, for some reason the ones who don't hold it just overall hold less appeal.

"I find that the NN connections feel healthier and less repetitious and make me feel more alive."
Yup!

My Mars is conj SN exact in Gemini...
I have managed to get along with Geminis recently. On a superficial level.. I love Sags but they seem not to like me. It's probably my seriousness.

I had a really good friend Sag. Every time I was with him he would make me think and teach me not be so up-tight and all. That was in 6th grade though I haven't had any Sag friends since.
