This song, written and performed by Miguel, a Scorpio sun, perfectly describes what intimacy with a Scorpio Sun or Moon would be like. Transformation, shedding of the ego, pain, discovery, and bliss.

His pleading to use his body as this vessel of transformation just sends shivers up and down my spine to my fingertips, till I'm ringing in my ears. I feel like I'm shedding my outer shell with him. His voice...he's pleading ugghhh my God

This song makes me melt, obviously.

Please Scorpio Suns and Moons (or anyone with Scorpio something)

post some music, images, or other media that describe the Scorpio experience. Anything that makes you feel alive.

I like obscure R&B: songs with R&B vocals but obscure topics. One of the masters of this is Abel Tesafaye, aka THE WEEKND.

His songs always have a shock factor like, "Did he really just say that?"

One of my favorites is THURSDAY. "Thursday" is about his a relationship with a girl that he only sees on Thursday, while he tends to other women through out the week. She knows this. As time progresses, she craves more of him beyond Thursday,

"But it's not Thursday...baby why you calling?"

Yes, you have to get past the fact that he sounds like a really hungry cat, but overall his music fulfills my obscure needs.

Frank Ocean is another obscure R&B artist that I love.

His songs along with his video really grip me.

PYRAMIDS
NOVACANE

Novacane especially.
Novacane is about Frank having a one night stand with a girl that was so enticing but left him unfulfilled, wanting more. Searching for that drug he found in her, he never has any substance in any of his relationships with women, leaving him even more void and empty. I love it.

Scorpio Sun, Mars, and Pluto in 8H I generally listen to (Techno/Electronic/House), Pop, or Alternative. I don't follow what's "cool" in the media, rather as you said what makes me feel alive.

Top 5 favorite songs:
Let go (Dubstep) by Imogen Heap
Love at first sight by Kylie Minogue
Titanium (Dubstep) by David Guetta ft. Sia
Lights (Dubstep) by Ellie Goulding
I will be here by DJ Tiesto

Top 5 favorite Images:

cool thread goatcat.

^i like that other song that WKEND guy's got, forgot what it's called. good lyrics. LOL@hungry cat comparison. i'm kinda partial to a bit of frank ocean when i'm workin, too. overall still too upbeat for me though, i'm afraid

i think this is kinda venus-pluto, a lot of el-p's stuff is very dark and scorpionic imo, obscure east coast indie rap. but i'm sure there will be someone else out there that can relate

I know there's
Something good that I die here for
Something great that I live here for
Something fly that I write for you
Something wrong that I bite you for
Something sick that you cure me of
Something sad to make sure you're loved
Some of us cannot trust no one
Some of us don't deserve no trust
Nothing wrong with not being strong
Nothing says we need to beat what's wrong
Nothing manmade remains made long
That's a debt we can't back out of
Nothing that they can take from you
Nothing that they can do to me
Nothing I wouldn't do for you
Nothing left here but you and me

There's nothing they would do for you, differently
They're not even listening
They don't even glean what we're existing in
There's nothing here but love for you
Groveling, look what they're accomplishing
The systematic gods have all demolished it
But I've never felt so brave
As when I'm looking at your face
They can decimate my body
But my heart will not disgrace
They can torture and interrogate
And shackle to my boot
I will gnaw off my own leg
And hop the f*** right back to you

*dies and is reborn*

I have a wide variety of musical preferences but most sings in my playlist are pop/rock/alternative songs. My sister always comments on the 'chillax' factor of my music.

Fave songs atm:

The A-team by Ed Sheeran
Begin Again by T-swift
Coldplay songs

I'm a scorpio sun, pisces moon and gemini rising.

Coldplay songs always take me to another world!

My favorites are "Violet Hill", "Yellow", and "Clocks".

Thanks I am attracted to marine life. However with these particular images they were just love at first sight, can't really explain what I'm drew to them except it makes me feel good everytime I look at'em.

I'm thinking it's from my watery chart - Pisces moon 12H, Pisces rising, and Sun-Moon midpoint conjunct Neptune.

Btw are you a Scorpio yourself, Goatcat?

I enjoy deep, atmospheric types of music, occasionally.

I like the Weeknd too, pretty cool.

Clams Casino : http://youtu.be/YbvrM6Nj2Ok

Gus Gus : http://youtu.be/8CTQU03YVt8

XXYYXX : http://youtu.be/lG5aSZBAuPs http://youtu.be/uf9WLPZK2AU

The xx : http://youtu.be/Pib8eYDSFEI

There are tons of others and many different genres but that's a pretty good start.

If you want to listen to something really weird :

Crystal Castles - Violent Dreams http://youtu.be/E6QRSiF4frs

Okay this one is one of my all-time favorites, completely different genre but :

Deftones - Rivière http://youtu.be/D4Wv1LDSing

^it's really beautiful, you should listen to that last one, it's full of emotion and depth.. I love it so much personally.

HOLY COW, we have the same effing taste.

CLAMS CASINO IS A MUSIC GENIUS. His songs are sooooooo obscure and in all ways perfect.

I love what he did with A$AP Rocky, Wassup The bass sends me into oblivion.

The xx and xxyyxx is awesome too.

Crystal Castles make me feel so disturbed, I love it. I love Deftones. I gotta give Gus Gus a listen.

I like my music with distortion, lo-fi sounds, and creepy, eerie lyrics.

I also like music that makes me feel nostalgic of a time I've never experienced before.

Chillwave is something I really dig.
Feel it All Around" by Washed Out is one of my top favorite songs of all time. This song can come on anywhere at anytime and I can forget about everything that really doesn't matter. This song is like Jesus to me.

YES that's the one i was on about...bring the drugs baby i can bring my pain!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLnsa-uI78Y

the bit i quoted doesn't start til the 6:00 mark, it's like the bonus track at the end of the album. kinda harsh dark production, it is a bit of an acquired taste, but it bumps sooo hard out the trunk

Oh it totally depends on the song.

I can completely disconnect myself from "reality" and get into a sort of trance; sounds have a deep effect on me and I always notice music - wherever I am - even though other people don't pay attention to it.

It's my way of escaping.
I call it "transcending reality". It's like I get high - without drugs -, just with the sound of music. I completely drift away into all kinds of different worlds..

I was talking about it with a buddy of mine today and he could not relate at all.

Obviously not everyone feels music at such a deep level.
