I have Scorpio Sun square Aquarius Saturn in the 10th and it also squares my Taurus Rising.I think I could feel the squares majorly when I was i was about 10 yrs old right through now (im 19 yrs old). I went through depression, anxiety especially social anxiety, procrastination, laziness especially in high school. Felt like crap. And yes my Father was quite cold and strict and was away to work trips all the time. I felt powerless to his emotional outbursts and would repress all the hurt inside me, but he's getting better. Weird thing is he actually has Sun square saturn too, so he probably had a rough time with his father. Now parents are recently divorced. I just hope when I have kids they don't have any saturn squares. But, now i feel like im growing in confidence as i get older. When im 26 my asc will be in gemini, so that will make me more extroverted, I guess. Do these squares represent late bloomer? Even more so with taurus rising as it indicates slow ascension process. And do these square represent karma in a previous life? I have no retrograde planets, all direct. But I have aries moon in 12th. And tell me about the relationship with my mother. I feel so much resentment towards her and I dont know why. IP: Logged |

You do have rough aspects from your moon to two planets, Neptune and Uranus. Neptune can leave your feeling a bit dismal about things. Does me all the time. The aspect to the sun from Saturn explains your feeling that you are not being allowed to express yourself fully. This manifests as social anxiety. Could be something like depression off and on as well.
The idea that things are changing for the better is a good one. You should definitely go with that and keep the eye on the future, let go of the past. Work on not resenting your mother as this could cause you problems. IP: Logged |

Hah, funny you mention Saturn transits because at this exact moment transiting Saturn is opposing my natal one so I know exactly where he is. Saturn is currently around 9 degrees Scorpio so if you have anything around 9 look and see if Saturn will touch it. I looked briefly, didn't see much in your chart. Your sun is at 16 Scorpio and natal Saturn is at 12 Aquarius so soon, look for Saturn to conjunct natal sun and square his own position in your chart. This could be a challenging time and you could feel depressed and lack energy and drive. You could feel restricted in some way, blocked and frustrated. Your patience will be low. Go to astro.com everyday and you will see when Saturn approaches your sun. It's getting close and is even closer to squaring it's own position. So you can keep an eye on astro.com to know the exact date. I just looked at transiting Mars at 9 degrees Aquarius where it is forming an exact square with Saturn in Scorpio today as I type this. This planet will hit your Saturn in Aquarius soon so be aware of this conjunction. Could be a tense time since it will also square Taurus Asc and Scorpio sun. Be wary of doing anything impulsive. Anger could cause problems now.

Ok, If saturn goes in to scorpio, I will have a saturn transit correct? So it means I've already been in Saturn transit. And if it goes to the exact degrees of my sun (16 degrees) I will feel the maximum effect. How long does saturn stay in one sign (in scorpio). IP: Logged |

It is in Scorpio right now at approximately 9 degrees and it's a slower moving planet but not as slow as the outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. It stays in a sign around two years but it goes retrograde from time to time. Not sure when it hits your sun exactly, but it is close by now. Only around what, seven degrees away? That is a conjunction but not too tight. Only around three from natal Saturn. Astro.com can help with that. just put Astro.com in the browser and the planetary degrees are on the left side. The conjunction is approaching, square is even closer but not exact yet and this is a Saturn period for you, yes.

Is this saturn transit the reason why my parents broke up. About 6-7 months ago they had problems and broke up. Roughly the time when saturn hit scorpio or just before I think. Also, what should I do in this transit. I do feel a bit repressed, and more mature. I've started working out (quite health conscious now) since the transit, moved houses, and everything just changed, just basically been trying to get my life sorted. IP: Logged |

If your Descendant is at 9 looks like it is opposing your Ascendant right now. Not sure how long Saturn has been in Scorpio because I just recently noticed it is opposing it's own position in my chart. Not sure when it goes retrograde. Considering you have other planets, Pluto, Mercury and Venus after your Sun it is going to conjunct them eventually too and could retrograde back to your sun and conjunct it again. So it's a slow thing. Saturn is about to go into the 7th house of partnerships so it's influence will be noticed by others since it is one of the houses dealing with people besides yourself and how they react to you.Good idea to become aware of the possibilities and guard against becoming too depressed. Try to think of the best possible way to deal with difficult situations involving other people. The signs and houses involved suggest it will impact your relationships with people and the outside world. Aquarius is a people oriented sign. Scorpio is more or less as well. You could feel alone during this period. IP: Logged |
