Anyone actively use anything besides Placidus? My birth chart would change a decent bit if I used whole or equal houses. I've heard you should use "what feels right". What do you think? IP: Logged |

I just use placidus but if I want to experiment with vedic astrology I use whole signs. IP: Logged |

Koch sometimes. I like to see what each system looks like. Haven't gotten them all memorized. IP: Logged |

I've stuck with Placidus simply because the whole/equal (others) don't change very much for me, personally. I think in Equal (and most others) I end up with my Mars/Pluto conjunction moved back into the 2nd house... that's sorta all... and in Equal I have my Gemini MC pushed back into Taurus h9. Whole only changes my Mercury placement from h4 Cap, to h5 Capricorn... No matter what my moon, saturn and Sagittarian majority aren't effected by the house systems... x.x If they were or I'm looking into another person's chart I like to compare them each. I think you are right with feeling out which one resonates with you best. That's what I would definitely do myself, if there was any significant factors involved that i could identify with more. ^^; In the end, it's your chart so you have to feel it, and own it... so you should be able to decide which style is your own... right!? ^^ IP: Logged |

Placidus, Placidus, Placidus.Although I did jump over to Koch for awhile...now I use it, rarely. I'd say 90 percent Placidus, ten percent Koch. IP: Logged |

I use Placidus as well. I once read that your natal chart is suppose to, in a way, tell your life story. Placidus does that for me...Equal, not so much. I have over half of my planets move when I switch the house systems. I believe Jupiter and Pluto in the 7th house, Moon in the 8th house, and Uranus in the 9th house are the only consistent things.------------------ Pisces Sun Capricorn Moon/Venus Taurus Ascendant Aquarius Mercury Leo Mars IP: Logged |

In equal house system, my chart makes no sense and does not explain my life at all. IP: Logged |
