Doesn't shyness contradict the whole point of being an aries . I know this guy who sort of liked my friend a fellow taurus . He asked her to hook up and she said no and when she was over at his house he wanted to do more and he refused but he was being sweet about it . She had to initiate the contact with him . she was pretty sure he liked her from the way he couldn't stop smiling when he kissed her always stared at her when he saw her out and then added her on facebook and wouldnt even speak to her until she poked him then he texted her probably becuase he was sure she liked him and now out of nowehere he wont text her or speak to her anymore . is he shy or an ******* ? This particular aries has a gem moon and a scorp rising venus in pisces and mars in leo ? She said he lies alot and he is supposed to be very very shy . I dont understand what makes him shy or is he just a typical douche ? if you really like someone why would you do this ? IP: Logged |

We'd have to see his chart to see house cusps, placements, aspects,etc.... but Venus in Pisces can make one shy (I have it and have had girlfriends call me shy (as a compliment), but friends say I'm just very private. Still, I'm wondering what else is going on in his chart to make him lie as much as you say the girl says he does. I'm considered very honest, so there's got to be more at work in his chart. I've read that a Gemini moon can tell tales, so maybe that's it?

I had a thread similar to this a few weeks ago. I get on really well with Aries most of the time and I had never met a shy one until recently. Apparently, a lot of them are quite shy and I was just running into a bunch of Hallmark Aries beforehand haha!
Still, you'd think a Gemini Moon would cancel the shyness.

I have an Aries guy friend with a Gemini moon who's "into" me (but he has Venus in Taurus. Eh, I guess that's similar to Venus in Scorpio minus the opposite thing.) and he behaves similarly. He's very childlike and yes, very shy. I have known him for four years and it's only recently he is more open about his advances. He does lie a lot but the lies are so pitiful and I can see through them. He talks to a lot of girls online though. I wonder if that's a Gemini habit, or just him. I feel like he could date other people but I would be the one he actually feels for or cares about. IP: Logged |

I'm Aries Sun, Gemini Moon. I'm very, very, VERY shy. My Sun in the 12th house does it. Also, n.Mars in Aries in the 12th.Usually, I'm too blunt, as opposed to being a liar. I don't think I lie, or at least try not to. Once I feel really relaxed with someone, the shyness goes away, and I'm a real motor-mouth. That's more how the Gem moon plays out for me. the only aspect that exalted venus makes is a square to pluto. possibly a homebody cos of all those planets in 4th? the chart shows him as a pisces moon, not a gem. pisces merc can tell tales too. IP: Logged |

He's 17.....
And he has a lot of Pisces going on.
- Next to no earth.
- No air.He's like a problem waiting to happen. Pisces Moon in teenage men - pffffffft!
They have issues with girls.
They're very insecure, they project their insecurities.. They're just nasty pasty... don't get me started.
Their mothers are usually ill (mentally or otherwise) which makes them completely screwed up in their behaviour towards women. No earth and no air means he is very unreasonable, not grounded,unable to keep a job, possibly drug addicted.. lives in a world of romance and sex where reality does not exist. His parents or caretakers or concerned friends will be paying his bills and financial debts for him - well into his 30s. I don't like his chart overall. The only thing I like about his chart is... Sun in Aries trine Leo Mars - This may be a redeeming quality.. He could be good with a fire sign girl - one who understands him (she'd have to be a very particular kind of person though). But an earth sign girl... like a Taurus girl - I just don't know....
He seems like someone who would just create problems for her and not give her what she wants & needs on a practical level. He doesn't really have much to give... unless we're talking about abstract things... like his philosophical ideas on stars and the universe... rather than say - a gold necklace.

A ram is also a Sheep so no being shy doesnt go against being an Aries. Most of the Aries I know are Shy until they have let you in, including myself. There are times when
i am shy and times where I just plain ol dont want to talk to people who I have no interest in. But yes shyness is a Aries trait from my personal experience.IP: Logged |

I really dont understand him at all . this particular girl is all earth and air exactly what he doesnt have like myslef she hasnt got one water planet but her dominant planet is neptune . Well he can't be that shy, since he tried to hook up with her. I think as a guy, I can say he feels awkward that he got rejected. When he tried to woo and romance her, that didn't really work for her either. Aries guys aren't really the patient lot. I think he just wanted to hook up with her.IP: Logged |

Do you have a Gemini Mercury? There are many things and people I don't understand. We don't have to understand everything. If this situation is annoying you (or your friend) - let him go..
Why create problems for yourself?
You're young - You should hang out with a guy who is FUN to be around and has positive energy. I have a huge aversion to mopey, depressed and mentally scre*wy men.
If I could re-live my teens - I definitely wouldn't spend 4 yrs trying to help & understand my Piscean first love (lots of Pisces & Aries in his chart btw)

Maybe i want to think and understand things . im trying to keep it really astrology related i dont really care about the actual situation its not that big of a deal anyway but um yeah just basically want to learn about aries traits . I'm an Aries with Mercury and Jupiter in Pisces and several Neptune aspects.. but I also have earth in my chart.
The fact that he lacks earth *and* air makes him a pretty difficult person. These are the more cool-headed/rational elements.I can't imagine how oober-insanely emotional this guy is and how unreasonable he can be. I know you want to know more about Aries - but I just don't think it will apply so much since he wouldn't be the typical Aries. Oh lord my worst nightmare . I feel like the piscean in him makes him very deceptive and a huge liar , he's very bad at it and even i known when he's lieing . Why would you ignore someone you genuinely like ?
She told me yesterday actually that he got his friend to ask her FOR him to hook up with her ? you cant ask a girl yourself ? and to top it all off he was hiding behind his friend . no word of a lie .
I get that he's shy but he didnt seem all that shy when they were talking about hooking up . and then when she didnt give him what he wanted he didnt talk to her again but she said he seemed to like her alot so she doesnt understand why he would ignore her . I guess piscean men dont know what they want . I have neptune in the 1st but its in capricorn . I never know what i want i just cant make descions for myself and people find me very confusing but in a cold distant way . He on the other hand doesnt think before he does things and when he wants something he wants it then and there . I see the unreasonable in him . He lied about when he saw her last ?
