Jan 11th~Moon Conjunct Mercury 17.13 Capricorn 7.23 am EST
New Moon 21.45 Capricorn 14.22 pm EST
Moon Sextile North Node 23.01 Capricorn/Scorpio 16.42 pm EST

We have a New Moon today and it`s time to start from scratch again.In Capricorn it`s high time we really get down and busy,if we want to gain anything by the next Full Moon then we have to work hard at being productive and not restrict our energy.Moon conjunct Mercury can give us exceptional focus,we have clear emotions and a clear mind.Moon sextile North Node can give us positive insight, certain emotional patterns that help us get through hard times so we can pull through.

It`s amazing how close that is to my Sun/Moon-mp on 21.39 Cap and my Antivertex on 21.28 Cap.

My goal was to get a bunch of re-organizing and cleaning done today. Got about half of it done, the rest can wait for tomorrow.

When I was younger and just getting into astrology I remember reading new moons can be the best time to do this type of thing, and you will have a better chance of keeping things that way, by doing so on a new moon. That has always stuck with me. I have noticed it works too. For some reason I always get in the mood to do a good cleaning when the moon is in it's last phases, right before the new moon though. Maybe having a natal anaretic degree moon effects that? I try to wait, and start on the new moon.
