I have transiting Saturn opposite my ascendant transit coming within days. My ascendant is in Taurus. What exactly does this mean? I understand that big changes can possibly occur.

Without knowing too much about your chart, it could signal a few things.

An older and serious partner coming into your life.

A lack of partners or a lack of relationship.

If in a current marriage or relationship, things may get very difficult and karmic and would create the need for cleanup in that area.

You're less likely to want to have casual relationships. A karmic, deeper relationship is most likely to develop. Possibly Marriage.

I'm already married, so perhaps a strengthening of the marriage?

If you're already married, it usually means that your marriage will require that the 2 of you WORK at it for it to survive.

I just noticed you have Uranus on your descendant. Interesting. You may have an unusual marriage or partner.

Saturn going back and forth over your descendant and Uranus will bring up interesting things. I am using interesting a lot for lack of a better word. Uranus is so unpredictable.

That's surprising because as far as I know we haven't been having any problems.

Definitely surprising. Does it mean that someone may come along to tempt either of us? That's the only reason I can think of to disrupt our marriage. So far, we are both content.

With S-turn transiting your Descendant (not opposite your Ascendant, but conjunct your Descendant), I'd say either you will shed superficial relationships or your true relationships will be strengthened. Perhaps both! The change S-turn brings will possibly be karmic and spiritual, and it will be for the better if you keep yourself open to it. Resist S-turn and then things get messy! Good luck!

Yes, you'll have to stay on your toes for a while, especially given that your chart ruler, Venus is in Cancer, and will continue to get stressful energies from T. Uranus in Aries and T. Pluto in Capricorn all throughout this year.

Saturn can mean either responsibility and seriousness, or restriction.

So there's either going to be some kind of solid bonds or plans being made on the relationship front, or there's going to be some kind of limitations or things will end in that sphere altogether.

How long does this transit last typically? Looks like I have my work cut out for me.

Bump! Wondering what happened. How did you get through it? If it isn't too harsh, please share your experience.
