What, if anything, in a Natal Chart/Prog. Chart would suggest that one is probably better off not getting involved in lenghty and overly emotional relationships? Or involved at all?I have a deep desire to be with someone, and I HAVE been with "someone". I have ALWAYS been with someone but in hindsight these moments have also been the most miserable of my life! I am happiest when I am single and can daydream about potential men without actually EVER getting involved with them. My friends concur, I am horrible to be around while dating someone. IP: Logged |

As an Aqua girl I LOVE my alone time and I am quite happy spening lots of time on my own. I've recently started dating an Aqua guy who is NOT what the typical Aqua man is supposed to be like. He's not 'aloof' and wants to spend lots of time with me. I'm trying to get used to this and enjoy the time we're together. I've never actually lived with a man so I think that will be the real test for me.IP: Logged |

Well, my dear Charlie - you should know this answer - without questioning Astrology. You can't and shouldn't take it as "meant to be alone" - taking it as if your Natal Chart implies that (btw - what placements do you have that made you think of it like that) - it's possible that there is such chart, but i'm not sure yours is (you don't seem like the type)... more like - you haven't found the right guy... which is not an easy task for some of us... PS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OBlgSz8sSM - your name keeps reminding me of that video... IP: Logged |

I have a similar situation - my bf and I meet infrequently but relate very often online. When we meet I and he (I'm almost sure) feel the need to be apart, or get a breathing space between us before long. Being together through the entire day is hard. At the end of two days, I need time alone again. This doesn't make sense as when he flies back, we begin to miss each other. I find this very odd and wonder at people who are together everyday of their lives, hold hands, do things together as happily as you please. Both of us have aqua moons. I have Venus square Moon natally and my Moon squares his Venus. Could that explain it?IP: Logged |

Were you referring to the topic of the original question? What defines 'a lot'. About half the aspects, or one third? I'm sure nearly every one has a fair sprinkling. Aqua moons are more likely to be involved in needing one's space condition, along with some other aspects/placements.IP: Logged |

i dont know how many in specific... but, i can count that those who ive met who have oppositions and squares among their inner planets and/or between their inner and outer planets can have stronger difficulties with this.someone who imo, may remain forever alone...but, this person is not a nice person anyways, so maybe, it is for the better. person has: moon opposite sun, mars, pluto and uranus moon, sun, mars, pluto and uranus square saturn venus opposite jupiter jupiter and venus square neptune...

Loneliness factors - i.e., feeling like you either should be alone or you have to be alone because nobody understands or wants you. The latter I feel definitely contributes to one feeling like they're better off a lone wolf. One might also feel they're better off alone due to low self-esteem, control issues, and romantic coldness [frequent rejection]. All these things can be explained through traumatic life experiences that happen at any time that astrology might not be able to predict. However, sometimes in a natal chart we find red flags that might lead to this...1. Saturn square/opposition the ASC. Saturn square ASC can give off the impression that the person is colder, more austere and not as approachable leading them to feel awkward and also, this aspect reflects low self-esteem. It makes one feel it's harder to get along with others due to it. Also, the factor of Saturn being either square or conjunct the Descendant as a result is a HUGE factor in making the native feel like love and companionship alludes them due to their low self-esteem or other problems in themselves. However they might just need to work harder to overcome self-esteem issues to find love. 2. Neptune square/opp Venus - self-explanatory I guess. You are constantly dreaming and searching for 'true love' and might feel you get rejected easily and are always looking without success. I've seen it happen a lot with the conjunction as well. 3. Saturn square/opp Venus, or trine or conjunct - with any of these I've seen issues with a person's self-esteem, self-image and his/her idea of how they aren't that beautiful or attractive make them feel alone or worried they'll end up alone. If Venus or Saturn fall in Aquarius, the sign of aloofness at its worst, Pisces, the sign of feeling lost and suffering melancholically at its worst, or Scorpio, the sign of the intense and brooding lone wolf at its worst, I can see the likelihood of it all being difficult going up even more. i remembered another example:sun/moon/mercury (in virgo) square uranus/neptune/jupiter (sag) venus/mars (leo) square saturn in scorpio ps. i know you mentioned scorpio, aquarius and pisces as being detrimental in venus or saturn...but i can see it happening with an afflicted saturn in cancer too.
