People who allow me to do their charts are my teachers.
I want to talk about Chiron as the wound that never heals, as is the myth. This thread is for those who live with the Chiron wound, as the myth describes it. I do not want to have a discussion of if the Chiron wound can heal, please. This thread is not for that.

I want to hear from people about their Chiron and how it effects them, with respect to the above thoughts. Do you live your life with kind of an "open sore" in the House in which Chiron resides.

Thanks so much!

chiron is supposed to be the true ruler of virgo right? But being a virgo I recently went a lot of changes and most of these attributes were of Vulcan not Chiron. So can a planet exist without ruling over any sign?
If so what sign would be my Chiron ? Only then would there be an answer to your interesting question

WEll, the true ruler for Virgo is not accepted, by everyone. I never heard of Vulcan. Can you explain it to me. It feels like Chiron rules Virgo, but I don't know about Vulcan, so can't speak to that.

no offense but it is pretty clear that pluto ruled scorpio now whereas mars ruled it earlier. Forget what people accept or speculate. If I am the patient nobody can tell me what's the pain like so how can anybody tell me what my ruler is?
I recently from 2009 underwent a massive change in my personality inside and out. Also my hidden nature came out in front of everybody. Let's consider Chiron as my ruler. Chiron is the brother of Jupiter, Pluto and Neptune but I dont feel a brotherly bond with Scorpio, Saggis and Pisces which I have seen between them. Also Vulcan is a brother of Mars and I have felt a brotherly bond with Aries. Also my parents and I had a similar storyline as Jupiter/Zeus and Hera with Vulcan. Chiron is supposed to be a teacher but I have little respect for teachers and would be the last person to become one because I dont havd the traits to become one. Vulcan on the other hand rules people working with fire just like his brother Mars. Now Mars rules Engineers, Surgeons, Armed forces, blacksmiths and Vulcan rules innovation so scientists. I have seen Virgos in these occupations rather than in teaching job. Also Chiron is supposed be a satyr who was unlike other satyrs but I have not seen Virgos following that storyline.
Vulcan is known for his strength (as in vulcanised rubber). I have seen Virgos such as Yao Ming, the Great Khali, etc. epitomes of strength. Even actors such as Keanu Reeves, Scott Speedman, Jason Statham etc. are more action oriented than peaceful, poetic and wise like Chiron. Now please tell me whether this isn't a compelling argument. If not then what is the reason for sudden changes in all aspect of my character?

^ The Virgos I know are either in the fashion/cosmetic of the medical profession.

I'm pretty sure most of the Virgo examples you listed have Pluto conjunct Sun.

As far as Chiron goes, I have it in my 11th and I was "rejected" by my peers when I was young, I believe my mom said as far back as preschool. Interestingly, they were friends with me as individuals, and relating one on one. But I was definitely turned away as soon as there was a formed group setting.

For me, no, as of now, its not an open sore, but you bet it was back in school. This in turn made me look within to develop my personality, since I had no one to bounce it off of. The friendships I have developed were very deep/healing/soulful. Honestly, I hardly even recognize the way that my friends describe me, or the impact I made on them. A while back, I was talking to a long time friend of mine who I was out of touch with for a while, and she was saying how I saved her back in school, and how it was my guidance that encouraged her to better herself and snap out of the self destruction spiral. She has said it before, but I never really understood, until she read some of the notes I wrote to her. They blew me away, even now, almost 10 years later. They were encouraging, thoughtful, touching, tender, and so, so heartfelt. And we were dealing with quite a few sensitive subjects like suicide and her coming out about being a lesbian.

One thing that I believe this placement contributes to is that I do not feel noticed or important in a group setting and this is regardless of whether someone makes a true effort to go above and beyond to make me feel appreciated and noticed. Once its a one on one, all that dissipates though. I haven't had many issues with my friendships other than I go through dry spells in between contact with my friends. I can't really explain why I do this, and its not that i'm cold towards them, I just go through times when I just want to be left alone (Moon in the 12th?) to cope with life. I still respond, but I don't initiate contact and I let them know I don't feel like hanging out if they try to set something up. In the past, I have let friendships go through severe dry spells, and it took me quite some time to realize how much I meant to my friends. However, no drama, no fights, and even though I clearly prioritize, I still have all my friends from school.

I am a Cap sun, Sag ascendant, Taurus moon

My Chiron is in Pisces in my 3rd house (along with Saturn in Pisces)...I would love to know more about this placement.

I grew up with 2 brothers (one I am close to and the other is VERY conservative and finds it challenging to relate to me) I have never felt hurt by this just a bit frustrated as I have tried to reach out and he always keeps a distance (but he distances himself from my entire family of origin as well)

Since the Chiron is Pisces it could be a father wound. My father (and mother) was emotionally immature and unavailable to me growing up...I do wish at times that I had a father figure to turn to but it doesn't feel hopelessly painful (you can't miss what you never had defined in your life).

I have a Taurus Moon and so yes I wish my family of origin was a more cohesive unit...perhaps that is the wound

Any feedback is welcome

(I have moved this post to the Astrology for Beginners forum....sorry for the confusion)

I can feel you Lava Flower. I too have the same placement as you, chiron in 11th but mine is also conjunct my sun in virgo. It's not that I can't fit in or that I feel like I don't belong, it's just that I find it extremely hard to penetrate other people's inner circle and become 'part' of their group. I usually feel hostile and unwelcomed when around people I know who've known each other for so long (i.e. when I transferred schools before although I tried to smile at my new classmates and try make some conversations, it will be just so awkward for some reason) I think me, being afraid of what I would come across to other peopled played a part aswell being a really shy virgo. But those ones that stayed with me and was willing to get to know me has told me that they can actually trust me and even considers me their best friend. Fast forward, now in college, I even catch myself approaching new people to befriend, it feels great even though it's out of my comfort zone, it makes me feel maturer and ready to face the world
