With the current fixation over the Lance dope saga, I decided to look at his chart and see what I can make of his very public fall from grace.

Lance has always seemed to me to be "larger than life"; beating Cancer and then going on to win the tour der France all 7 times. This was a man unlike many mere mortals.

Ofcourse, with everything "larger than life", I always suspect Jupiter/Neptune on the angles or at-least involved in some way.

When I looked at his chart, it was all there: If his birth time is anything to go by, he has Scorpio rising in the late degrees with JUPITER and NEPTUNE sitting in the first house.

Jupiter and Neptune may seem alike but their effects are differing;

Jupiter is the "can do" enthuisiast who approaches life with great optimism and faith that believing in something will make it so. Lance was beloved by the public and seemed very much a man who overcame many obstacles in his life through sheer faith and an optimistic attitude towards life.

Neptune has two effects; it can either make the individual seem faultless- mostly because people project a lot of idealism and faith on the individual. Often, it can be that the Neptune person can be expected to live up to very high standards. This person can, to others , do no wrong.

The other effect is on the individual who sets up his/her life to the standards of others. Who am I? this individual may ask, but instead of seeking the definition from within, they may seek the definition from an external source; their idea of God, the public, people whose opinion they cherish. Thus it makes it likely that such individuals will do all they can to "live the dream" that others have for them etc.

The current transits have Uranus squaring his Sun. At the moment he may feel threatened by all the changes that are happening in his life. No doubt, his self-definition is being redefined(and with his Sun conjunction with Pluto), it is being redefined in a BIG way.

Together with that , he has transiting Neptune squaring both his Neptune and Jupiter jointly in the first house. Ouch!

At no other time is he feeling so unsure of himself, so unsure of what to tell or to protray when he walks outside the door. He really has no idea of what face to present to the world and it is likely, with Neptune in 1st, he'll once again look for the world to "forgive" him and "let him back in" etc.

What he should really be focusing on his forgiving himself. In this regard, he may not be very clear.

The storm is not yet over and with Pluto conjunct his Sun, he can either have this whole saga consume him(Pluto can be all encompassing) or have him ridding himself of the false image he protrayed and start all over again. This time from an authentic place.

He once commented that he felt that he had to live up to some sort of high standards and a life that did not represent him at all and he just couldn't.

Lets hope that he has learned this painful game and start living from his own standards. He must learn to control his Jupiter and Neptune conjunct in 1st from having far reaching standards and expect nothing but "godliness" in his image.

This may seem like the end of his world(with the conjunction of his natal sun with Pluto) it may feel that way indeed. Add to that the irritating Uranus to his Sun (by square) may have people leaving him and those whom he cares about turning their backs on him. Uranus can bring uncertainty and changes into our sense of self(when it aspects the Sun).

But even Uranus has its rewards; Not taking oneself so seriously. Being more flexible with life and knowing that all you think you know about yourself can change. this is profound.

But Pluto has a secret in store; if you hold on long enough, you WILL be much better than you were before. FACT!

I hope he knows all this will pass.

Does anyone have thoughts to share on the subject?
