Hey guys, So I have only been here since December and have already learned so much about astrology as well as other topics. My question is what is the most interesting thing you've learned on this forum? IP: Logged |

How to connect the houses. For instance LotisWhite taught me a lot about attraction and partnering and friends. The way things are interwoven that way are fascinating. Also, I learned about the Vertex. That explained a lot of formerly unanswered questions.IP: Logged |

I dunno really it's just been more of the mechanics. I already had ideas and feelings of what the energy of each sign is, but I never knew about duads/dwads, for example. IP: Logged |

Since a lot of you are so young I'd like to also ask, what got you into astrology and in what ways have you been studying it?IP: Logged |

I was always interested in newspaper horoscopes, and one day my friend gave me a book that talked about moon signs! So me and my Cancer bff, who was better at astrology than me, read into it...then we learned about the Ascendant online and pretty soon the whole chart in general. IP: Logged |

^ Agree about the asteroids. I think a lot of people have basic knowledge about astrology but theres not a lot of info about asteroids or even its significance in astrology. IP: Logged |

Sooo much on this forum. Nodal contacts, progressions and composites are the things I would say I've learned the most about.IP: Logged |

I have learned a lot so far but the most useful thing I got from this forum was to understand the houses of my own chart and how to connect them, and that I have to thank Starlight. However the learning process is ongoing,am still learning and I particularly like this forum, and I want to thank all the knowledged astrologers, wanna-be astrologers, for all their info and insights. ...Truth? No offense, but I haven't learned anything. I'd already been into astrology for a long time before I got here so no one's really introduced anything I've never heard of. There's been a few times too where I see a lot of astrological inaccuracies being passed around, people trying to teach others this or that...and I used to always step in and try to correct it, now I don't even bother anymore because nine times out of ten people take it as a personal slight or a blow to their ego lmao. If I see someone writing an essay about an astrological technique I just go into polite 'smile and nod' mode and don't bother replying lmao. IP: Logged |

@Stacylewis....I am here to learn so if you see me posting anything inaccurate I encourage you to say something. If it's a matter of opinion we can disagree, but if it's a factual error I would especially love to know.IP: Logged |

A lot of google searches about astrology brought me here, this site pretty much contributes to me learning about it, it's especially good for learning about people's transit experiences because I like to hear them rather than textbook interpretationsIP: Logged |
