The Northern hemisphere is below the horizon with the IC in its middle and is said to relate to introversion (though it depends on the sign background; I guess having a lot of Leo, Aries, Sag, Gemini etc in the bottom half might not come across as so introverted, but still if the Northern is emphasized they are more concerned with private and personal issues and might value their privacy a lot (and their true eprsonality might not be seen so quickly from the outside). The southern hemisphere is the upper half of the chart, with the MC as its centre. And these people are more "visible" to the outside world, even though if the water or earth signs are emphasized they still might not really be considered extroverts.

Bottom part is northern hemisphere and upper part is southern hemisphere.Having many planets in southern hemisphere makes you an extrovert and having many planets in northern hemisphere makes you an introvert.Geography does not create any differences, you will still have scorpio traits no matter where you are born.IP: Logged |

Actually most of your planets are in the upper half, the Southern half, of the chart. The Southern hemisphere spans over the houses 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 The NOrthern hemisphere over the houses 1,2,3,4,5,6

Personally I wouldn´t base a judgement about introversion/ extraversion on the hemisphere emphasis alone.
BTW found this article here about signs in the southern hemisphere.
"Do the signs ‘swap’ for the Southern Hemisphere? There has been some talk that the signs of the zodiac tend to swap characteristics in the different hemispheres. e.g. Aquarius in the Southern Hemisphere swaps to Leo. This cannot be possible and shows a lack of understanding of the nature of the Earth’s movement around the Sun. Aquarius is always Aquarius, but in the Southern Hemisphere it is a summer Aquarius. Likewise Leo is always Leo, but in the Southern Hemisphere it is a winter Leo and this seasonal change affects the manifestation of the sign.
I understand this concept upsets the elegant structures of Northern Hemisphere astrologers, but their astrology is just based on observation of how it works in their hemisphere and often in the higher latitudes of their hemisphere, so is not relevant to Southern Hemisphere astrology." http://aliceportman.com/what-is-the-difference-between-northern-and-southern-hemisphere-astrology/

As far as I know the hemispheres, which are being created through your rising sign and the housesystem, stay the same.houses 1-6 are ALWAYS northern hemisphere in astrology houses 7-12 are ALWAYS Southern Hemisphere ein astrology (it is not strictly linked to the geographical hemispheres as they are on earth) But maybe you should ask an astrologer from Australia for example, or one who has more experience with birts from South the equator.
I have read all possible ideas by various astrologers: Swap signs, not swap signs. But I haven`t researched it really, so I can`t say for certain. Do you feel more like a Scorpio or a Taurus? Are your emotions more like Aries or Libra? Do you have more Sagittarian or Gemini traits? EDIT: Btw you only have ONE chart, your natal chart. The terms Northern and Southern hemisphere relate to the spreading of planets in your natal chart.
The ASC-DESC-line cuts your chart horizontally, the IC-MC does it vertically.
The ASC-DESC-line is also called the "horizon". Any planet that is BELOW the horizon, in the LOWER half of your chart, belongs to the (astrological, not geographical!) NORTHERN hemisphere - so any planet found in houses 1-6 belong to the Northern hemisphere. Also, everything below the horizon is invisible, withdrawn from view. The reason for this is that the Sun is the day-giver or lightgiver. And at sunrise we find the Sun exactly on the ASC. (this is true for births in Ausralia, too) From there it wanders up to the MC and further to the DESC, where it sets. Whent he sun leaves the 7th house and moves into the 6th house, night falls and it becomes dark. Because of this astrologers believed that the lower half of the chart shows the unseen, invisible, very private areas in a personality. While the Sun is wandering through the upper half, it is day, and every planet there is glaringly illuminatedly for everyone else to see, especially if gathered around the MC (the 11th, 10th and 9th house are the most visible and public houses of all). So instead of dissecting the parts into extraversion/ introversion, I see them rather as signifying privacy/ publicity.
You have a lot of planets in the 3rd quadrant (7th and 8th house) - that would speak for a person who is very much oriented to others and for whom relationships are very important. But that can be true for extrovert people as well as introvert ones. Personally I think that introversion/ extraversion is more aptly described through the elemental distribution, with water and earth signs having a greater tendency to be introvert. But this is about TENDENCIES, not guarantees. It also depends on the aspects. If you want to have your natal chart interpreted, you could try and ask for someone to look into it in "Personal Readings" btw.

also just to put my 2 cents in a good way to look at it is all the signs libra through pisces, houses 7 through 12 i would consider to lean towards extroversion more because all those those signs/houses tend to focus on relationships with other people a lot more and helping mankind. your most definately an extrovert when you value your relationships, introverts tend to find this too much work. libra is all about partnerships, scorpio is about deeeeeeep relationships, sagittarius is often said to be an extreme people person, capricorns idk their weird lol but i guess want to show their worthy by being fame and money hungry..like to build up social ladder, aquarius wants to help mankind and so does pisces...u guys get what im saying...aries-virgo, houses 1-6 tend to be a lot more self-centered and focused on themselves, possibly making them way more introvertedIP: Logged | |
