I have jupiter in h10...
I've never really been with out a job..

When ever one was getting laid off in my department..
I was the last one standing...
Now I'm the only one in my position..

My position was eliminated at all the other locations..
Im the only one remaining..

I found my job.

I closed my eyes opened the phone book.. And let fate guide me..
I opened the book and pointed.. Then opened my eyes. i was pointing at a well known company, i went in and applied.. Been there 18 yrs now..
Plus 3 promotions to different locations..

This is an interesting thread

Would like to know the answer to that question too. I have 3 aspects with Jupiter in my natal, which is found in taurus H4. It trines my Sun, Juno and ascendant. Hmmm, I don't quite know how it helps me..

Jupiter in Sagittarius 4h stellium with Neptune and Mercury - three bQ Taurus Moon 9h, 3 sxt Scorpio Mars-Pluto in 3rd.

I've read that Sagittarius Jupiter folks are in general, lucky, jovial people.

Very true for me, I can be very lucky, though as warned, I never press my luck, because lucky as we can be... we can also lose big time in a gamble... the key is to grateful, humble when fortune favours us.

I've won many contests, though I don't go out of my way to enter them... random drawings, silly games, and competitions of various sorts. Even just playing a carnival game, or one of those slightly rigged arcade (like crane games, eh) challenge games... at the oddest moments, on whim usually... I'll draw the prize I want, or the best available... usually when the odds are most against me.
^^; Concert/sporing tickets, radio contests, and various lotteries... Jupiter in my chart is in cahoots with Mars (ruling my 8h - possessions/income belonging to others etc) and Pluto in Scorpio,(natural ruler of the 8h, Pluton being the lord of hidden assets and hidden wealth/materials; while they're in the 3rd house in Placidus... under whole/equal they fall into 2nd house Libra), so having these signs/planets ruling wealth/possessions/valuables what have you, all working together in one way or another... I think Jupiter has managed to secure me, even in tough times; (which I've had a few), that I will get by, pull through, and succeed in the end.

I've also read, and believe there may be truth to it... that those with Jupiter in the 4h are rather successful at property acquisitions, real estate, business in those fields... etc - One day I'll test my luck here, just not now. ^^; But, I have always wanted to flip a house, it is something of a family talent, to be sure... both of my grandfathers were either professional architects,or avidly involved in their own homes construction, demolishing, and remodeling fields... it isn't hard to see myself enjoying, and pursuing a lucrative career sometime in the future that has ties to construction in someway. ^^

And, I've read it places that having 4h (naturally lunar/Cancer ruled), is tied to having luck through relatives assistance, like having parents who lend you a hand in paying for university, or getting you a position somewhere desirable...

this ^ I have not experienced, to be honest.

I don't think it's impossible to see this happen for someone else that has Jupiter as their IC ruler... but I also have South Node here. This can indicate a not so loving home... whereas normally this house with Jupiter ruling it/residing within, usually only means the natal had an overbearing parent... wit South Node, it can indicate strained relationship to the mother figure... which is an understatement in my case... my Moon cnj Chiron roughly 4 degrees, and they conjunct MC the MC - oppose the IC.... that kinda says it all right there~ lol

I haven't been the luckiest kid to have the biological parents, and unusual upbringing that I had... ("unusual" being both an understatement and polite way to put things)...

Jupiter is conjunct (exact) to the star (cluster) just above the Scorpion's stinger.... *Acumen* - which would create an energy similar to having a Martian Moon, (like like Aries Moon), the effect of these stars prominent in a person's chart will usually signify problems in vision with one or both eyes (as the centaur has only one eye), but when in contact to a luminary, and not afflicted the person can possess "eye-sight beyond the ordinary", but when afflicted, the person may become "devil may cry" in attitude, on one hand the natal can be a person of high spiritual understanding (Acumen = "sharpness/brilliance") or a person who is against religion, (or god) altogether, the enemy of such... (Acumen = "sharp - sting")

Jupiter lies conjunct to several other asteroids - the most prominent being Vishnu and and Requiem, I think... Vishnu adding a certain level of preservation of the self, and of nature... and perhaps Requiem, I believe since this is my 4h house... the house of respite... our home in our elder years, and fun stuff like that... lol Requiem, being peace, rest.... and I always feel that when I'm completely drained, I need to recuperate... and I do hold Jupiter responsible for this~ probably be a much grumpier goat otherwise... ^^; <3 Jupiter!

I'm Jupiter dominant too - on par with Mercury (chart ruler, and co-dominant, stellium-mate) XD

between cnj to Neptune and Mercury and being Bi-Quintile to the moon, and btw - Bi-Quintile to Orcus (who is also known for giving good fortune in accumulating wealth and lottery winning!), and Quintile to Dionysus (I don't even want to know what that one does, to be honest! haha) ~

I've definitely been blessed by Jupiter's assistance, probably all my life... I've seen my own deathbed (up close and personal, not like a vision, I've been on it), at least a half-dozen times... by the grave of Jupiter and the fates I've avoided disastrous injury/fatality many times over... (though this seems to be commonplace with my family... maybe we all have dominant Jupiter! lol iunno) -

More than anything - Jupiter helps me stay positive, and optimistic even if deep down inside I am a very Saturnine goat... and I do, true to *Acumen* see the bad before the good, I can always find a silver-lining to any situation, and good things seem to follow then. ~ so it's a blessing having a strong Jupiter...

I've read those 12h Jupiters have many hidden talents, and you get all the luck of the houses that come before at random~ @__@ seems like a really fortunate placement, truth be told! *jealous*

^ writes too much --- ty Mercury-Jupiter-Moon >.<; sorry!

@Moth

This was quite an interesting post! Indeed I consider myself lucky at acquiring property or land for that matter. But I don't know if it is due to Jupiter in my chart. My 4th H is actually Aries, Jupiter is in 4th House but in Taurus, so I don't really know if I should say Jupiter is in the 4th or 5th.

Sagittarius is actually my 12H, so Jupiter 12th house ruler is found in 4H-5H taurus.

I've read that a bunch of depressing stuff on that placemetnt, the position of the 12house ruler indicate the areas of your life where you have suffered a lot in a past life, I don't really know if there is any truth to that.

12th house ruler in the 4th house

You suffered from your mother, your nurturer, women in your life, your baby sitter, your feelings and emotions, your residence or home or where you feel home, security .. This placement may also show long suffering in past lives..
So now you have right to abandon your mother, your nurturer. Abandon your home, change whereever you are living, Abandon your feelings and emotions. Be more rationalist. Never react emotionally. Find your "home or where you feel secure" in yourself....

Another thing I think is worth mentioning,I read everyone is talking about luck. Have noticed am out of the ordinarily lucky when I travel overseas, that is I literally shine with luck when am abroad but no that much when in my natal country. Seriously it's unbelievable luck, that will leave me speechless sometimes.Do you think that is because of Jupiter or Pluto in the 9th H?

@ Jessica2407

! <3

I'll try to explain away my logic on the placements and these things while answering your questions!~ hopefully, it will be useful, but if not!~ I hope it is at least mildly entertaining!!! Haha (my 12th House Lion would like to be mildly entertaining at times!) XD!!!

quote:
My 4th H is actually Aries, Jupiter is in 4th House but in Taurus, so I don't really know if I should say Jupiter is in the 4th or 5th.

If it is in the 4th that is that's what you count it as, although you may want to see if this is different with equal/whole house systems. ^^
Then you look at the sign it falls under and what the sign it falls under is associated with, and then I would check that houses ruler, and see if it connects to that specifically or what that planet is doing. Then I would check the house ruler of the 4th and do the same (so your Jupiter, is connected even if not aspected, by effect/vibration, to Mars, and to Venus (and Libra house), and then back to the 12th.
It will have the most influence over the things it touches on, so the aspects it makes to other luminaries (and, I'd add asteroids of importance too with time), so that you can get a full picture of what it is doing/how it is really effecting you/your chart. right? ^^
There's also the factor of natural house rulership, and its effect... this ties into what you were reading on the role of the 12th house ruler in other houses... I'll continue on that...

First though, I want to say, it sounds really promising to have Venusian influence tied into your Jupiter energies, because both planets are related to fortune, although Venus is concerned with financial fortunes, and fortune in love, Jupiter is lord of luck, in both Western and Vedic astrology, I do believe. ^^
Pluto on the other hand govern hidden wealth/luck with finding assets, though not necessarily yours to begin with! lol Pluto/Scorpio's natural house is the 8th house. Venus Taurus is the 2nd house (Libra naturally rules the 7th), (which are things we value, and there's your luck with handling money/starting business ventures and this sort of thing), and Aries/Mars naturally tie into the 1st house~
I would think the combination of Venus-Mars-Jupiter (though they may not aspect on another in your chart,but by the reflection of Jupiter in their house(s) - that you would find handling new ventures in making profit, gaining your desires, come naturally to you~ based on these intermingled energies in your chart... what would strengthen it would be a direct aspect to them, positive aspects being the best, but a hard aspect I tend to see as a warning of how to use or not use this energy... that may be me though... XD I don't like to dwell on negatives... haha (very Jupiterean) ^^;

back to 12th house!

quote:
I've read that a bunch of depressing stuff on that placement, the position of the 12th house ruler indicate the areas of your life where you have suffered a lot in a past life, I don't really know if there is any truth to that.

I've read this sort before, on astrofix, I believe...? These karmic lessons/life lessons (if you don't believe in karma, some don't... but then I'd just see it as a "currently in process" transformation, these lessons/challenges), are also seen when we look at our South node, the house that holds the South Node is related to our previous errors, or struggles, or what have you, and the lessons we require for our souls in this lifetime. ^^
While I can say that with astrofixes description of my own placement I can definitely see a lot of truth in how that might be related, I don't put all my eggs into such a grim basket, for every negative there must be a positive... so while we can see it as we had a struggle we need to confront and finish with from the previous lifetime, or in our pasts during this one.... we can also look at these as rewards for coming through those tasks, and fulfilling our place in that last experience... no? I don't think my 5th house Sun is such a bad thing, Leo rules my 12h (Virgo intrudes a bit, but eh... I'm cool with that!) XD
But, yes I will say there seems to be truth there.... but, all they're doing is relating the darker aspects drawn from the 12h houses "domain" the issues that the 12h represents, and placing it within the natural rule of the house your 12h house ruler is currently settled under... (for you 4th... naturally ruled by Cancer/Moon). So Jupiter may be a reward for having gone through struggles early in this lifetime or your last that relate to Cancer/Lunar 4th house issues... everything is woven together with astrology... right? So to get the best idea how these relate... I find it best to refer to the natural house order-rulership, and then see the aspects, hear them out... what they tell us we need to do here and now, to make the best of our potential during our short time on this planet. ^_^ right????
We have to look at Neptune and Pisces house then, because they're natural rulers over the activities of our 12th house... this helps us gain more insight into what our current 12h house cusp ruler and planet are trying to tell us we need, or what direction they're pointing us in. It's all for he better though, even if we have "tough charts", although I'm new to a lot of things here, I can think of several people who have incredible "tough charts" who probably have the greatest damn potential out of anyone! When it seems like the placement or aspect(s) are unfavorable, and the energies are not at ease with one another, that to me... is a sign that we need to work out a compromise or complete that objective in the "here and now", so later in this lifetime, or our next (again people who believe in karma or not can see the benefits to thinking this way I hope), that we can receive our rewards, and highest possible potential/success/benefit from our charts!~ =)

lastly - !

quote:
Do you think that is because of Jupiter or Pluto in the 9th H?

It could be related here!~ haha it depends on who rules your 9th house, and what the ruler of it is doing~ I don't think Pluto is so much involved, but it could very well be... if you find yourself abroad and you are, you know... "just happening" to be introduced to the "right people" and having highly spiritual experiences "at just the right moment" like an epiphany, or you find yourself being trusted with finances from others, or things which your Pluto house governs... then you can say Pluto is related to it, sure!
But~ I think it has more to do with your 9h ruler... cause if I'm not mistaken, Scorpio is in your 11th house?? which would bring you hidden friendships, admirers, foes... and maybe the luck of chancing upon an organization that you can help out or vs/vs while abroad then... (relating the issues of 11th to 9th house, tied in with Pluto's area of general governance)! lol But, then you have to look at Pluto and anything in your 9th house in relation to its natural rulers too~ and do the same with the 11th! 11th is Aquarius/Uranus, and 9th is Sagittarius//Jupiter! So you can see Jupiters effect best, look at what he's doing to your ruler of the 9th too~ XD
(see how everything is related though???) It gets overwhelming, even to try and talk about it... and I'm not all too good with conveying my thoughts, though I try... (North Node purpose, I have to become more comfortable in the "teacher" chair instead of the "eternal student" like Sagittarius... lol I'm working on it, though I'm not very Geminine yet, I feel... haha) ^^;

Bear with me, please~ lol - m(_ _)m *bow*

I haven't seen your chart but I'm guessing this puts either Virgo or Leo in your 9th (or both for a real blessing!) ~
Mercury is the guardian of travelers, and being a Virgo 9her could aid you by being accommodating to others makes them more accommodating towards you, and receiving hospitality well!~ such as Virgos tend to... Virgo's Mercury goes very well with Jupiter/Sagittarius placement... (I can speak volumes on this, since mien are conjunct and co-dominate my chart! haha) But, I'll keep it short if I can help it!~ (Polonius... poor me!~ and my wicked lack of brevity!) lmao
If you have Leo in here too or even alone, that would be marvelous because then it connects back to your sun, your core!~ and you would surely thrive on foreign adventures, you'd shine and people would pick up on that vibrancy, and be very eager to help you, and accept you!~ as Leos are very well accepted into any stage~! no? lol *likes ending thoughts with questions, sorry!!!*

I can't be sure without looking it over myself, and I've got a flighty mind.... so my thoughts do get ahead of me most times... there's a lot I could ask and would say on each of these placements, regardless of aspects!~ But,the bottom line will be those aspects, and how they function within those placements.... they're the compass, the placements/chart is just the map... without those we're left wandering in circles~ ermmmm talking in them, if you are a South Node Sagittarius.... XD looool

I hope this is somewhat helpful though~ that you can see all the different ways you can relate the houses to one another and their rulers... and maybe, be able to welcome the positive side to the 12th house placements too!~ Pisces is the sign of our final evolution, that last leap/push forward into whatever comes next~ aye!? I respect those with 12th house placements, especially suns... I feel these people are the ones who've gotten to that peak, whether they've realized it yet or not, who are going to be venturing into the next "whatever is out there" sooner~ if not next! XD 12th house is extremely important in understanding where we stand though... especially for me~ (I have Draconic 12th house Gemini, my 12h house is natal Leo, and progressed fully into Virgo already)

<3 GL!!!

tJupiter ^ lol since when?
u always say you don't pay attention to transits really` lool

tJupiter aspects are temporary and not always good... (like when he is reverse!) HAHAHA
(like right now!) XD

Jupiter is good luck and bad luck, he can give you the luck of the draw, or clean you out~ just like with tJupiter and aspects...

btw --- ur luck is not so good for the time being, Mister~ >.>; Gemini rules your 6th right? isn't your chiron around 5-6 degrees somewhere??? cause that's the way he's rolling atm... better watch your health (at least take it easy on the carbs), not dwell on old wounds-things you cannot change, and hold off on taking any gambles there, dandy-sand. <3

Transits and natal aspects are important. Example of Jupiter in Cancer conjunct Sun and Pars Fortune finding a envelope with five hundred dollars just out for a stroll. Weird luck.

I don't think that Jupiter is all about what you get for free. (Is it just me or does it seem like like a lot of the posts are about free things? Lol) Yes, it might be that too occasionally (and for some people more than others). It's also about how you might benefit in other ways or where you might be more open minded or expansive. Or where you might be extra-philosophical Or how manifesting certain Jupiterian traits might bring you benefits in the style of or by the house where it is found (or rules).

Yeah this might make more sense for me. And I agree about the transit thing. Jupiter in Gemini has been squaring my nJupiter (which is my chart ruler) and all I've gained lately is weight. Also, With my Jupiter in the 9th, while I am not super religious myself, I have a respect for any form of spirituality, whether you pray to God or a an object of nature or meditate, it's all awesome and inspiring to me. I also feel more at home with people with differing backgrounds than me, though I welcome people coming from a similar background as me I don't want my entire social circle to be made up of people who are too alike, as jerk-y as that might sound. This also is trait of my relationships, as my 7th house ruler is in the 9th house. I would not want to limit my relationships with men who are the same culture/background as me.

Right! That's what I mean. When you look at the natal and what's going on there, Jupiter transits make more sense. I find Jupiter is one of most misunderstood planets in the sense that its seen as being this universal benefactor, and it might be, depending on your chart.

In my chart, things to do with the hidden, unknown, spiritual, misunderstood, forgotten, deeper awareness, etc etc etc (12th House) are the types of things that Jupiter transits offer me. Jupiter also rules my 7th and 8th so my relationships and 8th house stuff bring a focus again and again to that darned Jupiter in H12.

And Jupiter has definitely caused me weight gain as it has been running all over my Gem 1st house for....like... ever it seems! But I think my weight gain is connected to my 12th house and in my current case is connected to self-isolation, deeper awareness, and blah blah blah.

I forgot too when I was younger I was diagnosed with alopecia and had bald spots throughout my head. I took the treatment which was a topical ointment and it disappeared, and never came back, thus far. Ive seen what it can do to people, I'd say was lucky. I also had excema and I put pure aloe on it and calmed down only to flare up in really extreme temperatures. My uncle and cousin have It really bad, scars on their hand and feet. I think I've been lucky there too.

Not to rain on the Jupiter love parade, but Jupiter can be dangerous too.

Overdoing things and especially, skewing/distorting things. Otherwise, carry on.

Sometimes my card will decline and instead of throwing out the food, the employee has actually paid for it or done something tricky to give it to me. Or some guest at the hotel I work at went to the expensive steak restaurant I recommended him to, and surprised me by bringing me back an 8 oz. I mean, for two people the bill is at least $75-100 dollars.

My question is why do I always get free food with this aspect? Even my friends notice how much free food I get! Why not other things? Like concerning the people I meet?

Ummmm, I would love to get free food
