wow.. i can relate to nearly everything you mentioned, except for the juicing up part.in my case, i was a binge eater..i too have the venus/jupiter and the moon/pluto aspects. i've seen many times "venus/jupiter" being the over indulgent aspect a lot, in books. it's easy for me to gain weight as well. but only when i'm stuck at home(like jobless). cause i eat when i'm bored.. but as long as i'm out and about, even doing something menial like walking around hanging out (OUTSIDE), i can eat anything i want and gain little to no weight....but you showing up at work without shoes?!? lmao! RedScorp, sorry dont hate me for saying this but in my experience I know many overweight solar Scorpions! You may have gathered from previous posts of mine that I have a significant amount of Solar scorps in my immediate family and all are overweight. My father, who I have no contact with developed a heart condition because of his weight and lifestyle (heavy smoker/drinker/eater!). My sister also struggles with her weight. I also know of at least three significantly overweight Scorp females in my "circle" for want of a better word. Just to clarify, I am only talking about the very plus size here, not those who are slightly overweight or a bit chubby. My brother in law is a Sagittarius sun, Venus and Mercury in Scorpio. He has been comfort eating since he was 12 and is clinically obese. He is trying to lose weight for gastric band surgery, but as far as I know it isn't going too well as food is literally his crutch of support. I think weight is such a subjective issue it's hard to know where to start. In the public eye there is a singer named Claire Richards who has had a very public struggle with her weight. Going from extremely slim in her popstar days to very overweight. She is a Leo sun, Cancer Rising with very few hard aspects in her natal - it's almost too much of an easy chart! I'm overweight and have been more than I haven't been. I carry my weight well though. No matter what size I've been (16 being the biggest, 8 being the smallest)people always think I'm a couple of sizes smaller. I have Taurus rising, mercury and venus conjunct in libra in the 6th house. Jupiter conjucts sun in the 5th. IP: Logged |

I have the best of all worlds, cept fire...Pisces sun, Taurus moon and a bunch of crazy Aqua stuff.... I am about 25 lbs over weight, going from the ideal weight for an American lady of my age, but I give myself a "handicap"  for very large chest endowment. I carry my extra weight well...gained it when I cracked my rib, tore ligaments, etc. from coughing for 3 months with bronchitis and couldnt move for weeks.  Funny I look in the mirror and I dont see an overweight lady. I get on the scale and I am at my all time high, but I still like the way I look in the mirror. My hairdresser is a Taurus sun, she is a big lady, very, very beautiful, and a personality to die for. She carries her weight well too....she has lovely thick wavy hair, which helps balance out her "voluptous" body, but the clothes she wears makes her look stunning. Look at Adele, Taurus...I think she looked better before she sold out to Hollywood and lost all the weight. Great topic!!! t~ IP: Logged |

That cookie monster icon is so cute!My weight has fluctuated alot throughout the years, when I was a teen I was incredibly thin. Now I am just slightly curvey, people have told me before I carry my weight very well. If am a certain weight, usually dont look it, even back when I was a size 12. It was the only time I got an insane amount of male attention. My combo is Libra Sun with Cancer Moon, and Jupiter on the Asc. IP: Logged |

Jupiter in the 1st with whole signs or placidus(usually 12th) is usually a sign. Not necessarily Jupiter on the asc, which is more of a curvy body,larger frame, or a expansion on a specific part of the body.IP: Logged |

I should be huge based my astrological placements. Sag rising, moon and mars in taurus, sun and mercury in pisces. Jupiter trine ascedant and sextile venus almost exactly. I also have moon opp pluto and moon trine neptune in my chart but wider orb.I gain weight easily but I´m an extremely picky eater and sporty so I´m slender for now.  IP: Logged |

Very possible. I am 5'3" and was up as high as 240 after I retired. I was slim with a terrific figure up until menapause which makes me think my afflicted moon might be to blame. I got lap band surgery and now weigh 199 and still losing, but slowly. My moon in cancer is opp venus in Cap. and MC. My jupiter isn't too bad, just opp. sun b 6 deg. I hate exercise but I do like walking and biking. So I do that but I live in NY and all winter there is nothing I can do outdoors. I think it has to do where venus is residing. I'm Libra rising with venus in Pisces but it's in the 6th house. I keep a food journal where I write down everything I eat and do a nutritional analysis on it and I've been doing this for many YEARS (and you can't get much more "6th house-Virgoesque" than that!) I'm 5'5" and about 125 lbs, so I fall into the "lean, athletic and very sensual" catagory. Thanks for realizing that not all Libras are of the "pleasantly plump" variety.IP: Logged |

Technically speaking Venusian people were more curvier (think "hourglass figures" for women), which I think is beautiful myself even if it's not the current standard of beauty. And in days when food (especially fattening ones) were harder to come by the Venusian tendency to indulge contributed to Venusian beauty, but in this day and age with plentiful fatty foods and easy means to avoid physical activity it instead contributes to obesity. Libra has it worse because most Librans also don't like to sweat. I've been lucky having a lot of Sag (and Leo ascendant) to balance that (and unafraid of sweat, loving physical activity about as much as mental, making me the "lean, athletic" kind), plus genetics, and also an upbringing that didn't allow a lot of opportunity for bad dietary habits (and a lot of a person's features are determined by diet & physical activity in childhood, btw). Good point! I was nine-years old before I ever went to a McDonald's and that was only because my neighbors took me. I never developed a taste for fast food -- my idea of fast food is something I have to chase down and tackle myself. Perhaps this is because my venus is afflicted by a square from mars? IP: Logged |
