fish around the forums a bit (go thread mining!) lol I think Glaucus, was it?? had posted topics on this before~ I'd look for you but.... I have to go get my ADHD child from school... XD neither he nor I are 12h-ers -
but we both have ADHD (adult in my case) like lala said... mercury and mars ~ I'm mercury ruler/dominant with sxt to mars~ and cnj to Neptune/Jupiter (stellium) I'm mentally and physically always on the go, and until I was in about 7th grade (though an extremely good student) I had to struggle to sit still and be quiet and pay attention to what everyone else was doing...  still struggle with these things... 12h house is Leo ruled, but Sun is in the 5th
, Capriocrn. ^^ my son has 12h Cancer, Libra Moon opposite his Aries Sun exact, with Mercury only making sextile to his Venus and being tight conjunct to Uranus n Pisces... (which is traditional 12h ruler) ~ the 12h house could show mental illnesses, but mental activity is a matter of the mind (Aries/Mars 1h), and thought (Mercury/Gemini 3h), I think that's how you deduce things... ^^ maybe someone else can explain better though... I see what you are getting at though with the 12h suspicion. But, I believe it would include more than just the 12th house planet people... extending to all people and where their 12th house rulers are, and especially to the aspects they make that include prominent mars/mercurial energy~ taking into account also, and natural rulers of the 12th (Neptune/Pisces)... right??? <--- time restricted! ^^; sorry

I was diagnosed with ADD when I was 13 or 14. I have Mars and Jupiter in Gemini in my 12H, which is ruled by Taurus. Venus is in my 11H ruled by Aries and squares Saturn in the 7H. Jupiter squares or is inconjunct my Midheaven in Pisces, and Mars is sextile my 11H Sun, Mercury and Venus. It's also conj. my Gemini ASC and inconjunct with Pluto in the 5H. IP: Logged |

I was diagnosed with ADHD. (Not sure how much weight I give a diagnosis anymore however.)12th house sun and neptune.
But I also have Mercury square Mars.

Yeah me neither. Unless you're one of those kids who has physical trouble sitting down, sitting still and paying attention it just seems like a fancy way of saying "You're bored in your environment, here's a pill to make it better." I have Sun, Uranus, and Saturn in my 12th house. I don't have ADD, but I definitely lack interest in everything... I thought I had developed ADD a couple of years ago, but things got better after I stopped smoking marijuana. lol. IP: Logged |

I have ADHD and I have Pluto, my chart ruler in my 12th opposite my moon and square my sun and mercury My little brother does, though not as bad, and an empty 12th.
I know one guy who has ADHD with a 12th house sun.
A girl with a 12th house mercury w/ it

I would look for ADD/ADHD in grand crosses, afflictions involving Mercury or Mars (likely both), and maybe even some sort of mutable affliction.IP: Logged |

lol no harm trying the dsm-iv criteria to check if you have adhd/add, were you hyperactive when you were younger like 8-12 years old? also the marijuana probably did abit damage to your brain already lol. IP: Logged |

I may really have to get treated for it once i get back in school. I dont think it really was an issue when I was younger but now it is, Im much diff than when I was a kid. Im not sure I want to be medicated for it though, I know several people who said the medications did some horrible things to them like extreme weight loss and extreme mood swings. Nope, I was never hyperactive. I did well in school and university, but I found going to class horribly boring so I skipped a lot. A triple Gemini guy I know is ADHD. Nothing in his 12th, though. Anyway, he is uber scattered and can't concentrate on anything. IP: Logged |

I have ADD and several friends who have it too
We were also born on the same year WATER MONKEY, interesting lolto be honest I think its this generation. Especially growing up texting and the internet really destroyed out attention span. I can't go a minute with out checking updates etc.
Maybe we need to look at outer planets like neptune and uranus.. IP: Logged |
