This is my favorite part of the Brad/Angie synastry. It helps me to understand Brad's switcharoo on a deeper level then 'It's Because Angelina Is Georgeous!'. Although, her Venus/Asc on his Vertex, and his Asc on her Vertex could hint at each thinking that the other one looks 'just right'. But it also hints that both each have a 'Individuality Vs Relationship' dynamic, that stands out, and resonates with the other in general. They settled in and had kids really fast!

and conjunction (at least the "nice" ones) are like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.

As I said, joking

Good analogy.

Fireworks, passion, and melodrama = Squares

Peaceful, contented love = Trines and Sextiles

That Soulmate ‘Meant to Be’ type feeling, and having so much in common = Conjunctions

How about oppositions?… That’d be odd couples right. Where they seem totally the opposite of each other, and don’t always agree, and yet they’re pulled together by some kind of magnetic force, and can’t get enough of each other.

Ceri maybe you could think of a couple that fits for this.

Lotis, Mars/Venus aspect is very nice to have in synastry but the lack of it is not a biggie. Brad and Angelina do not have
any Mars and Venus action. Nor Pluto.

I've only seen her picture and she sure does look rather Pisces-like.

About the Venus/Mars thing. That was just sort of a side point, probably from my own biased perspective because Venus/Mars is one of my top most favorite aspects to see in love synastry. Of course, there are plenty of other planetary combos that can produce a physical attraction... Pretty much any combo of the Sun or Mars in aspect to the Moon or Venus works. These combos are very Yin/Yang. But some Yin/Yin and Yang/Yang combos work as well. Sun/Mars and Mars/Mars are very 'hot' energetic aspects. Venus/Moon and Venus/Venus are more sensual and tender. Pluto and Uranus aspecting any of these four can be pretty heady as well. Particularly Pluto/Mars, Pluto Venus, and Uranus/Venus.

I won't elaborate too much because that's an entire other thread.

my parents.

Though they DO have a common basis, jsut their temperaments are quite different.

(my Mum`s Scorpio-Sun opposes my Dad´s Taurus-Moon and squares his Aquarius-Sun).

One wouldn’t necessarily tell by just looking at Eddie, but he is not your dumb Hollywood pretty boy.

He has Pluto squaring his Sun, Saturn conjunct his Sun and Mars squaring it too. With these placements, he has strong leadership abilities and a tenacious spirit that endures. He is not the type to shy away from responsibility and is the guy whom takes chances that he is convinced will bring about drastic changes in his life. A strong ego indeed!

Moon Squaring Pluto, squaring Mars, opposing Venus either doesn’t make him the easiest person to live with or else, he may be drawn to partners who exhibit the characteristics of such placements; defensiveness, self-protectiveness, emotionally sensitive and a volatile nature etc.

If anything, these aspects suggest a domestic environment that is far from docile.

Venus square Uranus is attraction to a partner that wants what they want, when they want and whenever they want etc. The love nature can be quite self-centred and rebellious towards any impediments that they may come against.

This is a lover that may blow a top if you show up late for a date but will expect you to just “go with it” should they do the same etc.

For the break-up, I’d have to say Pluto lining his Sun by trine and Uranus by square is contributing in making him go a completely new direction with his life.

Transiting Neptune aspecting his Sun may not make it very clear as to where he is going and he may be looking at things right now from a glossy point of view (even the relationship with Lee Ann).

His birthday is a number 7 and those people, according to numerology, function largely from within. So, whatever their feelings dictate that they should do, they compel all reasoning and mental focus towards all of that. They are usually quite self-centred in their decision-making and stubborn.

Lee Ann is a number 1 and, according to numerology, is much like Eddie’s number 7 as she can also be quite self-centred and wilful in getting what she wants. But she is less methodical, less investigative; preferring to strike out ahead and “see” what happens etc.

Jupiter and Uranus sit on Lee Anne’s Sun by sextile and square respectively; her life is full of all sorts of changes and she apt to make decision based on faith (and faith alone) and the highest expectation (Jupiter).

But there are also hindrances and frustrations towards self-expression that can show itself up to rebellion against the structures within which, ironically enough, the individual was once sheltered (Sun-Uranus square).

People with Uranus aspecting their Sun are constantly changing and always renewing their idea of themselves. It is advisable that such a person not lock themselves to any sort of long-term commitment because, no sooner have they made that much desired commitment, they have already changed their minds as to whether that commitment is reflective of them. Lee Anne divorced her 1st husband.

Her Moon is only afflicted by Mercury and that can bring about strongly subjective opinions. It also enjoys a sextile aspect with Jupiter; confidence and self-belief.

It can also mean supportive personal relationship and a favourable, sincere domestic environment (unlike the one that Eddie has come to know).

Her Pluto, Neptune, Saturn and Mars aspect her Venus by trine, trine, sextile and square respectively: The Pluto aspect suggests a decisiveness and dominance. Neptune aspect speaks of idealism and altruism. Saturn speaks of executive ability and maturity whilst Mars square speaks of impulsiveness, brusqueness and audaciousness.

These may be qualities she brings into the relationship or the type of partner she attracts.

I think that all these aspects seem to describe Eddie very well: He has a powerful ego (Pluto aspecting Sun by square), a romantic and idealist (Eddie’s Neptune sextile his Jupiter) and he works in the television and film industry (Neptune occupation).

Eddie is older than she is (9 years her senior) and has excellent executive abilities (Sun conjunct Saturn natally). He has a determined spirit and a single minded nature (Sun square Mars).

I wish them luck.

".... It does add a nice touch to the overal connection but none of the other aspects would make a man leave his wife and kids for another."

Ahh... but you missed how he has SN conjunct Venus in his natal chart. Vedic astrology states this is a very bad combo in a Males chart because "it will make the native cheat on his spouse. He will have more than one spouse and each and every time he marries he will find fault with his spouse. She is never good enough. He is always in search of that "better" female companion."

Henry the VIII who married 6 times had this combo as well. As a rule I try not to get involved with men who have this combo. No matter how good the synastry is, chances of cheating are high. If he hasn't cheated on Rimes already- he absolutely will. Just a matter of whether she stays in the marriage anyway or not.
