Since your descendant is Cancer, what do you seek in your significant other?Tonight the Aries I'm dating said that he wants me to be more possessive of him, that he likes it when I get a little jealous because he wants us to feel like we "belong" to each other. This sort of threw me back in surprise because he's an Aries and Cap Rising to boot. The whole time I've been trying to be more independent and less tenacious with him as I would be with others LOL. It's just funny to me - I have a lot of Cap Risers in my family but now I'm starting to realize that behind that cool Cap facade you guys secretly crave someone to smother you with affection. ^ I just think it's somewhat unexpected. Capricorn Rising can come across as staid and emotionally unresponsive, but I guess it turns you guys on when your partner is a bit hot-blooded and territorial... according to this Aries, anyway. He's an Aquarius Venus, too!IP: Logged |

hmmm, it's more like we like to test your responses...reactions...I don't know about aquarius venus, am a lEO VENUS. capricorn rising is very selective in their choice of a partner, we are territorial creatures period.Not only vis a vis our partner, but everything that 'belongs' to us, once it belongs to us that is.We will fight for them, fiercely protect, and keep from harm's way. Capricorn rising is also very emotional, it's just that we don't wear our hearts on our sleeves, and if you see a capricorn rising looking serious compared when he is laughing his head off ( yes it happens, we do laugh our heads off), you would never believe it's the same person.We totally change when we are in a good mood,otherwise we wear our poker faces very well.It's not only me, have noticed this with other capricorn risings too. Cappie rising here and I agree with poker face. And laughing....I am saggie so can certainly laugh my head off but most of the time come off as serious...Last night was out with new people, so was bit shy but was able to work the room , but I had to put my poker face on with the guy I liked. I went all shy and serious, wasn't sure what to say! Then felt like an idiot... Cappie rising is tough I would say...hard upbringing usually but life gets good later on. I am an Aries Sun with Cap Asc, but I am female last I checked  . However, yes, that is true. I LOVE it when my partner is possessive and territorial with me. I generally thought it was because of my Taurus Venus, didn't think Cancer DC is the culprit. Interesting indeed. I am, I think, more territorial than possessive. I always gave my partners a lot of freedom but like to remind them that they are MINE nonetheless (and same thing in their case). It is definitely a turn on for me.
Hold on a second.. what house is his Sun?? Mine is in the 2nd (lengthy 1st house) and I think that definitely adds to this.

And cap rising are cute eeping:Like they start out being awkward and funny looking then grow into real nice looking people....(personal experience)  None of my classmates recognize me, they look me in the eye, and I see zero recognition! hehe.I don't think they will ever believe am the same person. Im very possesive and jealouse and i make that clear with my partners, i dont hide it.. All my ex's found it endearing and enjoyed my possesive strike to boot. Go figure...My current one is a Scorpio with a Cappy ASC. He likes when i cook for him and take care of him. Especially when he is sick. He likes to be spoiled. Heck, all men like that. IP: Logged |

Yeah we are indeed mushy, but we don't like when someone takes advantage of it, or try to profit from it. We are quick at figuring it out if someone is doing that to us.We become kinda mean then, and we do tend to bear grudges as huge as the iceberg that sank Titanic.SO....IP: Logged |

His Sun is in the 2nd House, Moon in the 1st! Yes, I think he's much more territorial than I had initially thought. He explained to me that he likes it when a woman stands by his side and claims her territory but he'll always give me the space I need. He actually called me flighty last night, which I tend to be. You know, he tests me a lot... for awhile before I got his birth time from his mom, I thought he was a Scorpio Rising. He straight out admitted to playing games with women in the beginning because otherwise they just lose interest right away. I immediately told him that I don't like games and he eased up a bit. I have to admit that I do like them a little, but my Cancer Sun needs some direct answers when it comes to security and where our relationship stands. I value security over amusement or whatever. We like someone warm, sensitive, open and romantic. My Dsc cusp is Cancer but I also have heavy Leo in that house with Leo planets there, so that spices things up a bit. Leos are also very lovable, loyal, warm and funny....all things we appreciate in a partner. IP: Logged |

TBH, Cap rising won't even try playing games if they are not serious. If they are not interested they won't invest their energy in scheming little games for the other person. When they do that, it shows they are serious cause they want to know how you feel about them. As far as I am concerned, I use reverse psychology a lot when am testing someone am interested in.
