Topic: What shows that your love will grow?

Someone suggested that I should post this question here as a new topic ....Could someone say if there are aspects that show that love will grow - by this I don't mean that you will spend your lives together since that is dependent on so many factors. If I could see these aspects in our chart it would make the world of difference to me. What a blessing it would be to know that you will not be rejected because you cease to be attractive. Sigh!

I would have to vote for saturn contacts in synastry. I think the context of the aspect would show how it grows...squares = growing into resentment, unable to break the bond regardless of how much distance between each other (divorced with children) trines = I would say would be the best. Ease of growth and love becomes stronger. Sextiles I think would make the relationship become sibling like. Oppositions = idk....

I have a love/hate relationship with the square. On one hand, Saturn represents time and tough love type growth. On the other hand it represents blockages and boundaries. I can only tell you my personal experience with Saturn squares in synastry.They say Saturn gets better with time. In my situation, I suppose Saturn is making me take a look within myself to understand why I would want to criticize or judge Miss Scorpio. We have a lot of Saturn Synastry. Most notably a tight double whammy sun square Saturn. We both have been around the block so I know for me, I welcome the saturnian energy to help me grow with her. And I think that's the main point, to mature positively with these Saturn contacts. To face my fears and accept her for who she is and adapt to some of her ways without losing myself. I think that can be the positive side of Saturn squares. And it helps that we also have a double whammy of Venus sextile Saturn. I think had we both not experienced horrible long term marriages where love was absent, then these Saturn aspects in our synastry would probably cause lots of issues. I think with our experience, we can appreciate and help each other grow. ------------------

Thank you Astro Keen! It's still very early with us so time will tell. I really want it to work between us. I guess all this trying to understand the Saturn energy is a testament to how much I love her :-)
