Subject line is explanatory. Dragon meets Turtle. Dragon wants to stay true to his heart and......be a Fire Dragon. But he likes Turtle very much but turtle wants to......Turtle.

Does Dragon have to go and find some patience and hold back, waiting for Turtle, OR keep on keeping on, being Fire Dragon?

i think when u love someone u see their fears/insecurity/walls so waiting patiently for them comes naturally, bc u understand/can see what's going on in their head.

Remember the "Love is patient, love is kind" thing, yeah?
Well, it's true.
It comes naturally when it's true love i guess.
