Probably gemini, I'm always learning about new things everyday. I love to read and learn about a wide variety of subjects.
My mom has a mercury in gemini too and we teach and show each other new things all the time. Thats like our way of bonding :3

Mercury in Gemini- they know about a huge range of topics (though usually nothing in depth). They like to chat and meet with new people and they thrive on that, that might be partially why alot of Gemini placement people often have the whole grass is greener mentality.

I'm not really following descriptions, I've dated a Gemini mercury before, they're really curious. In good and bad ways.

Second is probably Virgo, though with Virgo Mercuries it's more studying topics extensively. Because they usually don't get bored as easily.

^^Sagittarius would be second.Mutable mercuries hop around random stuff IMO,cardinal get bored too quickly,fixed are fixed.

^^^ In my experience second would be pisces, they're actually have a strong desire for knowledge. even thou its debilitated they're not know it alls, and want to understand the world around them in all mediums from art, literature, and science.

I'd guess straight away for Gemini and Sagittarius... but, I've only known a few Gemini Mercury holders and they were all Tauruses! lol likewise the Sagittarius Mercuries I've known have either been Sagittarius suns or (more likely) Scorpio Suns... >.<; I think I've known a Cap or two with it as well... Sun, kinda takes the lead at steering the Mercury in whichever direction, plus it depends on if you are Mercury strong or not.....

I have Mercury in Capricorn, but I'm always being told "SM, curiosity killed the cat, you know" and "SM why do you ask soooooooooo many (stupid) questions" lol XD

But, I'm Mercury dominant, Virgo Rising, so it's my chart ruler as well..... there's a lot of factors to consider overall.... anyway!! lol

IME - the most curious people I've known, as in, the ones who had minds that wouldn't stop asking questions... were Aries, Aquas, and Pisces suns, with Pisces Mercuries!?!

So for personal experience, I'd go with Pisces Mercury 1st, then Gem, and Sag Mercuries... XD - just with personal experience though... I don't think I've known that big of a range of Mercuries as I have Suns... =x (why is that!?) Oo;

mutable thing... iunno >.<; lol

Well I'm an Aries with Pisces Merc and I really hate being asked a billion questions. I don't do this to anyone since I hate it so much myself. The people who have done this with me were Gemini Suns with Taurus Merc.. I actually like them - we're friends and all.. but I'm not happy with their nosy-ness level.

I second [third...fourth...lol] Gemini. Gemini influenced people can be quite inquisitive, love facts and bits of knowledge they can absorb any time. Very curious.

I'd say Scorpio Mercury is another possibility. But in a darker way. They are very inquisitive but for certain underlying reasons, not just for the sake of knowledge. Some are darker reasons, sometimes it's from obsessively wanting to find out stuff, sometimes it's for their own personal gain, etc. But you can be sure this placement makes one dig deep, and want to know a lot about others, themselves and the situation at hand, for whatever reason.

Pisces Merc here and im the same way. but i think that some people think im not interested because of this, its just that I dont want to pry. Also when I tell one friend something and she tells another close friend it really burns me up. Its not that I wont tell all of them but I like to do it at my own time.

I have to agree both from experience and knowledge - Gemini Mercury. However, the most investigative - Scorpio mercury. They ask just as many probing questions as Gemini would. When they want to know that is, and that's the difference. Mercury in Gemini wants to know all the time, Mercury in Scorpio wants to know on it's own time.

I irk a lot of people by doing this. I flat out refuse to discuss issues and items I deem personal, either my own or what people have told me. It's not my place to discuss someone else's personal items with other people. If you want to know something, talk to the person In question.

As for most inquisitive, I am not sure mercury really rules curiousness. However, my vote is the water Mercuries. Cancer Scorpio, Pisces.
