It depends on house/sign placement -

but... I'll share what I feel on the matter~ ^^;

I have this in the (Sag) 4th cnj my SN-Ven

The majority of what I've read on it seems to say it is a sign that in our pasts at some point we were involved in rebellious acts/pioneering/advancements into uncharted territories; I've also read it as being a sign of those who are extremely protective of their individuality... some say it was taken to the extreme in the previous life/lives... sot hat harm was done/or growth was delayed...

That's why, I believe in this lifetime, in order to release the negative bonds our actions built up in the previous/earlier experiences, that we have to share/contribute our lesson through the outlet of our North Node (that house+sign).

Mostly, I'd agree with those interpretations though... (mostly not wholly, I don't think Uranus is always extreme or extreme in an entirely bad sense... for instance maybe in the past lifetime someone spent their entire life helping their country revolt against a bad regime, that they didn't have time to achieve anything further.... that person died a hero to his people, but hadn't completed his lessons or lived out his true purpose... he was distracted by Uranian ideals, which were not altogether bad... right?! get me?)... Oo;

So.... For me, it seems to be about balancing out need to maintain control over our personal freedoms (expressions of our individuality, and liberties), and contributing those lessons back into society for everyone's benefit, using those lessons/strengths to reach beyond the place the South Node conjunction is, into the potentials of our North Node position. So that in one form the expression of Uranus is self-centered or self-absorbed (at least) in its goals/focus, but in the other it is serving others on a grander scale somehow (which is what Uranus is meant to do in its highest positive vibrations, right?)... And, when those things are balanced we have done whatever is indicated in our charts (at least somewhat since there's probably other key conditions)...

To me this is the energy of karmic South node and North node... the planets on the South Node are who we were, our strengths and our weaknesses, and North Node is how/where to use those lessons, the wealth of our soul, in this lifetime, to better and free ourselves from any wrongs, to truly reach that potential...

(I see North Node conjunctions the same, but they're attainable here and now, and to me... they seem like rewards, whereas the South Node conjunctions are more burdensome, because they're left over rewards that we may have misused... at least that's how I feel, and interpret them... which was the question... so yeah!) ^^;

Sagittarius South Node, cnj Venus (exact), cnj Uranus, Fourth House~ <3

I may not be able to edit later~ bad connection lately ;; apologizing now if there're lot of errors/nonsense in there~ I'll probably catch them after I post and not be able to edit them! >.<; sorry!!! *Virgo/Merc ocd* >.< fuggit

Felix Baumgartner, the guy who jumped from outer space, has Uranus on his SN within less than a degree. I have no idea about his houses, though; no birth time.

Anyway, given how he is when it comes to risk-taking, exploring uncharted territories, going to the "extremes" in his activities, he is a perfect example. It is easy to see how the SN/Uranus conjunction affects him! Regular sky-jumping just won't do for him; that stuff is just a walk in the park for him. He has a strong need to take his activities a step further by exploring the unknown, and the road less traveled.

I was watching a documentary about him and the jump, and his biggest complaint was that astronaut suit he had to wear. He was VERY upset because he felt he couldn't "move" in the suit; he said he felt very restricted in it. He said he wanted to feel the wind on his body while he was descending from the jump. His need to feel "free" was very obvious throughout the documentary.

He also has Jupiter on his SN, which speaks to how lucky he is! You wouldn't believe how many times he has narrowly escaped death. It's crazy.
