5 years isn't much of a difference lol... Admit it when you were 20 you would totally date a good looking actor that is 30.. I would totally date someone 10 years older then me if they were hot, plus they would be stable which is even more attractive to me. I think when theres a 30 years difference is when it gets abnormal IP: Logged |

Could the problem be the latitude? Looking at the chart, and especially how the 3rd and 9th houses contain several signs, it might make more sense to cast it using the equal sign system. High latitudes can throw off the rulership of houses, making a chart harder to interpret.IP: Logged |

Mine is much younger than I am, and all of his friends are older than him. He never really attracted his own age-group (me neither btw), except for one girlfriend when he was 18.He has Sun/Merc/Venus/Saturn/Uranus/Neptune in Cap. in the 10th. Well in fact, Sun is in the 9th but 4 degr. away from MC, Merc. on his MC. Venus/Nept. conjunct exact. Venus/Uranus conj. 4 degr. (+ exact parallel in dec.) Venus/Pluto(8th) sextile 5 degr. Venus/Jupiter(5th) quincunx 1 degr. Venus/Moon sextile 2,5 degr. Venus/Asc square 1 degr. IP: Logged |

well there seems to be little common ground for you two. I mean the uranus, neptune, pluto might be conjunct if age diff is not more than 4 yrs. But you could start building on the virgo sun conjunct. Let's see being a virgo sun, merc, jup I am not at all confused about what I want from life. This fellow seems to be sure about his emotions, appearance, profession and all since his asc and moon are in tune with his sun harmonious. He might be strong, tall and with a high libido. You on the other hand might have high willpower, not as emotional and your moon and asc represent clash with his moon and asc, so you might need compromise. Same goes for saturn. But a virgo although has much emotional control on the outside has burning feelings on the inside. You just have to bring it to the fore. I like older women too but because they know how to take care of a man. Firstly they're very good listeners Secondly most of them are good cooks(virgo rules the intestines) Thirdly they're not confused and flighty Fourthy they're at the prime of their beauty Fifthly they dont do things to annoy you such as criticize, lecture, argue. Sixthly if they are intensely emotional and all the above-mentioned prerequisites have been met you might find your relationship to be fulfilling since acc to Love Signs by Linda Virgos are the most emotional sun sign from inside and cancer, pisces from outside. So these qualities you must fulfil in order to grab his attention and then he will forever be loyal to you since his three key placements are loyal signs. Maybe libra desc might cause some flightiness in him since 11 h rules fidelity. But you already know his positive traits so you know what you're in for, right?IP: Logged |

I don´t think that latitude makes some problem. Koch works perfectly for him, even Placidus would move his Venus into 11th house and it would not make that sense. The theme of his natal chart is best described by Koch. Koch was introduced by German astrologer and we are close to Germany.

Oh, I liked your description of older women so much! <3. We have built on the common ground. 10 years ago I consulted one astrologer who told me that we couldn´t even be friends with this man because our moons are squared and mars, the appex of his T-square is on my Descendant. Although I am so much into astrology, I am happy that I followed my own intuition on this. There are certainly some challanges, but knowing them helped me to work and overcome them.

I recast his chart using Frigga and Valentine, and found that they were in opposition, making a t-square with Uranus, which sits on his ascendant in both systems. Uranus can show itself as big differences with partners, including age. IP: Logged |

Could you tell me more about Frigga and Valentine please? Also, someone mentioned here the Scorpio-Pisces combo for age gaps, I don´t seem to get it. Can someone please elaborate?

Pluto conjunct Mercury in Libra is a powerful, charmastic mind, you sure he doesnt prefer older women because they are more on his level? IP: Logged |

I thought 13 - 20 was the prime of their beauty (usually, my mother was her prime beauty in her 30's to early 40's though). Thanks for the ego downer. lolIP: Logged |

They're two powerful romance/sexual attraction asteroids. Frigga like Juno represents relationships, Valentine signifies the potential for romantic love. IP: Logged |

Ah, ok, I see. So Uranus square Frigga and Valentine would be something like some time in his life he will change his romantic life suddenly and unexpectedly (uranus on Asc) or a tendency for aloofness in his relationships, if I am getting it right.

He does prefer older people generaly because they are on his level (I have just asked him). But neither Mercury nor Pluto rule his 5th or 7th houses and if talking about women, why would he keep prefering the older ones? I mean, in a man´s chart there are Mars, Venus, Moon telling the story of a man´s love life. And these are in a T-square there. IP: Logged |

I think there should be a distinction made between “older” people and those whom are “old souls”.If we are basing this on age alone, then Saturn will have nothing to do with it. Saturn is not age alone, but those who are “old souls”. Interestingly, his Venus (the planet that represents the nature of our lovers and what we are drawn to) forms harsh aspects to Mars. This says to me that he is drawn to heat, passion in his love affairs. It also suggests that he finds Mars women spicy and “hot to handle”. These women could be leading the relationship or have assertive personalities. The fact that they are “older” is more co-incidental than intentional. Also, his Mars sits on his Moon by square: His inner nature is a reflection of these women; fiery in temperament. The opposition with Venus, however, suggests an inability to reconcile his love affairs and his domestic environment. It may be that these women either do not want to get married or tied down to him (or vice versa). With Venus opposing Moon, commitment is tough because whilst one may desire companionship, there is also a fear that they’ll/ the lover will have to self-sacrifice in the process.
