After learning someone's zodiac sign, do you ever wonder what they're personal planets are? How do you guess them? Are you ever correct?

I can generally guess sign influences, but I'm not good enough at deciding planet placements.

Nope I can't. I met a very shy guy once...Him being shy I thought he would have planets in Pisces, Cancer or Virgo. WRONG! He had a stellium of planets in LEO!!! He acted nothing like one.

strangely i can feel any moon in water and i predicted at least 4 girls with moon in pisces !

my cancer moon trines scorpio pluto seems to help a lot in this department .

Im always trying to guess other people's placements. If you can get a person to give you the day of the month they were born, you can figure out the degree their Sun is in and how it aspects your planets (or not).

Like if someone says their bday is July 1st, you know their sun is about 10° Cancer. And if you've looked at enough charts, you can guess all their outer planets and how they aspect their Sun.

Also, you can rough guess their Venus and Mercury signs too since those planets stay within a certain range of the Sun.

------------------
Gemini Sun
Libra Moon
Gemini Mercury
Cancer Venus
Virgo Mars
Virgo Asc

And yes, I'm a guy!

Yea, Venus/Merc, but then again limited options = less room for error

I miss RegardesPlatero. I was able to pick up on her Cancer/Libra influences, but took me forever to guess her other personal planets...

The vibes. I didn't know a girls year of birth for a while and I figured in my mind she had Sun conjunct Pluto in Libra and a Venus in late Libra or Scorpio and ends up she did.

Usualy Mars/Moon positions I get right.

Moon is easy- When I get close, I can already tell what moon sign a person is.

Moon in water, generically, are conscious of personal space and are slow to "invade" it.

Moon in Fire don't know there is one(especailly Moon in Sagittarius and Aries and not so much Leo-which can seem more water/earth to me actually).

Moon in Earth are slow to get to know. Reserved? Absolutely, but friendly: Mostly Taurus Moon are the most charming and consistant.

I have trouble with moon in Capricorn and Moon in Virgo coz I like a friendly face: They seldom are.

Moon in Air for me is the most uncomfortable(especially Aquarius there OMG).

Libra Moon will strongly resemble Taurus Moon but with less personable contact(they are always throwing around "niceties").

Gemini moon is friendly but likes to gossip a whole lot. They want to be where the action and so, I am too boring for them. lol

Aquarius Moon is friendly , yes, but there is a underlying detachment from getting personal with you-which is important with my Cancer moon.

They can let you in their house, share the bed with you, but you'll still come out of there not knowing who they really are.

Its not like Scorpio's detachemnt which, in my opinion, one can always sense that there is "more" ,but the individual chooses not to reveal. But the gut feeling is always that the is something more there.

With Aquarius, I don't know whether there is or isn't; there is just a whole lot of air. Literaly.

LOL I agree! I'm a Moon in Taurus and I so really agree with Moon in Aqua!! My boyfriend is a Moon in Pisces but I think his emotional nature is more secretive and hidden but very emotional and deep once u get to know him on an intimate level. Capricorn Moon is more detached and uncomfortable with affections.. not a big fan of that moon. Virgo Moon is critical and stupid with emotions too. Fire Moon is ok to me.

Usually, I see the Sun influences *first*.
Then the ASC (or MC sometimes.. tricky), and then if I get close enough to the person, their Moon/Mercury/Venus.

Mars and the outer planets = forget about it.

I can usually pick up on Leo placements but only because of their reaction to me because same as MillyX, I have come across the "atypical" Leo's who aren't anything like the Leo descriptions (which are of course stereotypical anyway). BUT that only happens with Leos who have a Leo stellium.

The placement that really really stands out to me is Aqua moon. I can always pick one out, not even necessarily by observation either, but because there's an immediate trust, likely because its my 7th house. I also do not find them "cold" despite my cancer moon. However, in the long run, I notice their lack of emotional maturity and the lack of ability to pick up on the needs of others. When they do something to upset me and I just want to be left alone, they become very pushy and intrusive trying to either talk it out/ apologize till its all better/ or argue further their point of view.

And I have, in the past guessed placements correctly, BUT only because of the way they impacted me.

Water moons- just immediately "get" me. Very attracted to Leo's and Aqua's and Gemini placements. Libras love spending time with me, talking, hanging out, get attached to me and get very upset when I don't make time for them. Deep connections with water Suns, those looks that have no need to be spoken of. Capricorn placements always look out for me. Aqua Venus loves to share with me. Sagittarius placements make me laugh. I feel comfortable with Cancer ASC. I feel drawn to Libra rising, etc.

Obviously not good at guessing placements out of context. My acquaintances usually describe my Leo rising, yet my chart has a fire void. I personally notice my Gemini Venus when in a social setting and my moon is something only my longtime closest friends could guess as I am very different around them and at home.

I guess you have to take the whole chart into consideration... Was Saturn squaring that stellium ?
