Well, in my case it fits. I have Jupiter as ruler of ASC in Pisces in 3rd house squaring my ASC and in mutual reception and square with Neptune on my ASC.
Since the Jupiter conifiguration is soley focused in or on my physical quadrant (houses 1 through 3), it was more likely (though not a given) in my case that the expansion would show itself in physical terms (could also relate to a very expansive bodylanguage btw).

A trine of Jupiter to the ASC won´t be as strong as the dynamic aspects in making things happen or visible (though might affect the mindset or emotional nature strongly). Also Jupiter would fall into another quadrant, but not the physical one.

Being cappy rising people mistake my true nature as one of a kill-joy type of girl, because I do come off as someone who is very strict, and reserved, when in fact I'm totally the opposite

Because I have a friend that is by no means fat, it's just that she has a rounder figure, looks soft, if that makes sense (sorry my english fails in such situations, trying to describe something so specific). My mom described her as that "fuller" girl... She has this really soft body, if you know what I mean.
She loves good food, gains weight easily, but reduces it back again, nothing drastic, just a few kilos.

Her chart:

Cancer moon.
Mars in 1H - should've had sporty figure, strong body features.. BUT:
ASC square Venus
ASC square Jupiter
Venus conjunct Jupiter
Jupiter inconjunct Uranus - sudden loss/gain of weight
and the ruller of the chart is in Taurus - feminine shape etc.
