my mars is in scorpio. i drive a 450sl from the 80's. first owned by my gramps. richard gere drove it in american gigolo. need i say more? most days i am driven around in a korean car (company car) and my spare is a honda from 2000 or so. (we need at least 2 here coz there are days u can't drive your car to reduce traffic) i actually want to drive something that seems to make no sound and is black and sexy. i like coupes over convertibles. i almost bought a yellow porsche cayman back in 08 but deal didn't push through. i quite like the new merc CLS. i don't like looking at cars outside my budget lol! jupiter in cap. suv is definitely the most practical for my climate. but i just can't get used to driving something so big. the height is nice though in case it floods which it does rather often. i'm the only one that actually owns cars and non suv's in the family. I love cars, and I'm a helluva good driver, if I do say so myself! Here's meh dream car~ (wrong year for me, but it's not like I'd be so picky to disagree with owning any model. In fact I very much wouldn't mind one of each year! lol The desire to restore a car has been with me since childhood, watching both of my grandfather's restore their vehicles, my surviving grandfather (step), has resumed drag racing~ >.>; He's pushin 60, and awesome as ever! Both grandfather's were heavy in love with (GMC) Chevrolet; Pops, the racer, his obsession... Chevelles, he's owned every year but keeps only one now.) ANYwAY m_ _m sorry ^ 68 I like 77-79, special place in my heart for the 79~ ftr... no, not because of Knight Rider (82)... though that was pretty damn cool too~ Don't drive right now, honestly I'm terrified of going up against city traffic, the natives and the immigrants~ I've seen a whole new kind of road rage since coming here, and a whole new level of stupidity on the road... at 5 mph in broad daylight with seemingly nothing to distract her, some foolish woman drove right into the center median... the sad part is she's not the only one I've seen do that since being up here... it's happened 4x in almost 6 years. >.<; There was another poor fella who nearly drove his rig clean off the overpass (right above us), it was just dangling there... frightening sight. I have a bit of a lead foot, but I'm not reckless... road rage strikes, I just crank up the volume to my Modest Mouse and "let it float on". <3 I doubt I'll get my firebird yet... probably go for something hatchback, practical, family friendly, (hopefully not too gd ugly). >.<; Brother-in-law has all the connections for vehicles, he's on his 7th or 8th since I met him... his wife is on her 3rd as well, my husband is on his 4th, their dad owns 3, but two are for work purposes... lol They're like the mafia when it comes to vehicles... it's all about knowing the "right guy" and having "connections" ~ idk - but I hope I get a decent one out of the deal! HAHA Mars in Scorpio - 3rd, cnj Pluto. SN-Venus in Sagittarius - 4th, cnj Uranus. >.>; I have to say, I have somewhat similar taste to Bond up there... different Venus, 4th... same Mars... gotta be something with Mars involved at least... in some small way, non?!~ ^^; yyyyyyyennnnnnnnyyywayyz *sorry so loooong* cars <333 IP: Logged |

Mars in Leo. I don't care too much about cars as long as they can run safe and get me from point A to point B. I drive a Honda. It would be nice to have a sweet ride like an Audi but there are more important things I'd rather spend my money on.IP: Logged |

i have no interest in setting cars up coz i might look like some extra from fast and the furious: tokyo drift lol but i was watching the creation of the nissan GTO last year and it looked seriously cool if a tad geeky... comic book inspired. http://newspaper.li/static/19dc8a9e166186028da8e7469936170a.jpg i don't like too bad ass looking cars. muscle cars are too bada$$ for me to drive. i moisturize for crying out loud lol! though i suspect vin diesel does too cancer sun that he is. i had this for a wee bit. no white racing stripes and it was an immediate repaint coz they didn't offer a blue then, at least here.. i bought it coz it was perhaps one of the first cars i've ever rode in. my taurus uncle's camaro. his was the older version of course. same uncle bought it off me, cash lol! i think it's impounded somewhere now. happens to him a lot. last i knew he was driving a souped up e class and a mitsubishi eclipse. I meant... similar, as in we both like coupes and slick vehicles~ the firebird is the only "muscle car" I like. tyvm *twitch* It's sentimental, you know why... my uncle~ wanting to restore it with him before he passed... all that sad business. ALTHOUGH, think it's funny we both bought the first car that made an impact on us though too~ I had to have a Ford like my dad's when I was little, so that was my first car, (it was 2 years older than me and plagued with issues the entire time I owned it, and the curse passed on when my step father bought it from me when I left the states too!) grrrr... never again with cars like that~ I want everything new, or scratch... *control issues* preowned cars/trucks always give me problems... seriously... :/ lol I was just thinkin'.... You'd not love my old Bronco either then... >.>; that was bad!ss in a truly Pennsylvanian way~ oueee the bushin!~ XD ridiculous lift, and a 150cm me bouncin 'round the driver seat all over the rock quarry and marsh~ >.>; btw - before I go to bed... I saw the tat~ looks wicked, bro~ <3 (still wanna see the other)~ neee! g'day/g'night !

^had something like this as my 1st car. much older version of course. i mean the kit looked like that. except it was black and the lights were all white and the audio inside were all decked out. there was also a lcd screen and VCD player. no dvd's yet that time. it was 2nd hand so came that way. it was freaking hard to park in college especially my school wasn't known for space. my mom rode in it once when they had to pick me up on one of those days her car wasn't allowed on the streets and she scolded me coz she heard the comments from girls when they passed the street kind of a small street where everyone hangs out in my school. it was a very showy car and everyone knew it was mine. i drove a wagon for a few months after that lol! also always wanted a mini cooper but it might be tuna can for me. i think it's obvious where my tastes lie. vintage. european cars. come to think of it i'm not even a sports car guy. sedan. evan the horrible abomination of a 2 door sedan is fine with me. i wouldn't mind this in british racing green. there's one in my building parked next to me. never seen the owner though but my dad says it's the developer's car that occupies the whole top floor. I don't drive yet, but If I did and had the money, I would love to drive either a BMW Z4 or a Porsche Cayenne Jeep. My Mars is in Gemini. My crush has Mars in Aries, and he drives a Wrangler Jeep. My mother has Mars in Libra, and she absolutely loves her Alfa Romeo 147. IP: Logged |
